The Senate has voted to confirm Xavier Becerra, Joe Biden’s pick to head the federal Department of Health and Human Services. As Deion Kathawa notes at American Greatness, the California attorney general is a rather odd choice for the job.
After a video by pro-life activist David Daleiden exposed Planned Parenthood’s sale of body parts from aborted babies, Becerra charged Daleiden with 15 felonies. The California attorney general also sued the Little Sisters of the Poor, as Kathawa explains, “because their Catholic faith compelled them not to be complicit in the sale of contraceptives under Obamacare.” With other groups, attorney general Becerra proved more lenient.

Joe Biden is scheduled to finally have a press conference tomorrow.
No doubt there will be efforts on the part of the White House to head off any issues and limit the damage, perhaps even limiting who gets to ask questions/calling on more friendly reporters.
But at this point, he’s delayed their ability to have real questions on a host of issues, they’re not happy and he’s set it for a day where they’re going to be asking a ton of questions about the border crisis. Now that might explain why he appointed Kamala Harris today to take over the border, so tomorrow he can say, “Ask her.”

Joe Biden sold the American people a bill of goods in 2020. He is not a moderate, and he will make his mark no matter what damage it does to our institutions, traditions, or country. Biden is not even a Trojan horse for the radical Left. He is leading the charge to transform the country.
Remember how Joe Biden pushed back on Kamala Harris in a debate? Biden said he had no executive authority to ban assault weapons, and that there were many limits on changes using that tool. Compare that to the statement of Press Secretary Jen Psaki this week:

ALBANY — High-level members of the state Department of Health were directed last year by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker to conduct prioritized coronavirus testing on the governor's relatives as well as influential people with ties to the administration, according to three people with direct knowledge of the matter.
Members of Cuomo's family including his brother, his mother and at least one of his sisters were also tested by top health department officials — some several times, the sources said.
The medical officials enlisted to do the testing, which often took place at private residences, included Dr. Eleanor Adams, an epidemiologist who graduated from Harvard Medical School

Health officials are monitoring 44 Ohioans who may have had exposure to Ebola after returning from areas of Africa with active outbreaks.
In a five-page statement explaining Tuesday why he vetoed Senate Bill 22, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said it is believed that all of those individuals are at a "very low risk" of having contracted the deadly virus.
The World Health Organization has confirmed the first confirmed cases of Ebola since the outbreak in West Africa between 2014 and 2016 that killed more than 11,000 people. On Feb. 14, WHO declared an Ebola outbreak in Guinea after three fatal Ebola cases were confirmed.

Former President Donald Trump has received some free speech support from an unusual source -- Bernie Sanders. [SNIP] 'Look, you have a former president in Trump, who is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, a pathological liar, an authoritarian, somebody who doesn't believe in the rule of law. This is a bad news guy,' Sanders said.
'But if you're asking me, do I feel particularly comfortable that the president, the then-president of the United States, could not express his views on Twitter? I don't feel comfortable about it,' Sanders said.

In July of 2019, a truly bizarre series of events unfolded around California’s Channel Islands. Over a number of days, groups of unidentified aircraft, which the U.S. Navy simply refers to as ‘drones’ or 'UAVs,' pursued that service's vessels, prompting a high-level investigation.
During the evening encounters, as many as six aircraft were reported swarming around the ships at once. The drones were described as flying for prolonged periods in low-visibility conditions, and performing brazen maneuvers over the Navy warships near a sensitive military training range less than 100 miles off Los Angeles. The ensuing investigation included elements of the Navy, Coast Guard, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Democrats call this bill the For the People Act, or HR 1, but a more appropriate name would be the Corrupt Politicians Act because it’s designed by the politicians, of the politicians, and for the politicians. Here are just a few of the countless reasons why this bill may be the single most dangerous piece of legislation we’ve seen in decades:

President Joe Biden's agenda has stalled on Capitol Hill halfway through his first 100 days in office. Biden's supporters fear that if Democrats in Congress don't act soon, they will have squandered their best opportunity to pass such policy priorities as a climate action bill, election legislation, and immigration reform. Supporters are especially frustrated with Senate Democrats for allowing their chamber's Republicans to filibuster bills passed by the Democratic-controlled House.
The Senate, unlike the House, permits a minority of its members to block bills supported by a majority. Specifically, Rule 22 requires three-fifths of the Senate (60 senators) to vote to end a filibuster by invoking cloture on a bill.

What, exactly, are the taxpayers paying in the highly politicized and loaded-for-money wokester FBI these days?
The recent mass-shooting out of Colorado, from a murder-spewing freak they knew about, would suggest nothing. While they were out there busy looking for 'white supremacists' this admitted refugee from Syria was making plans to kill.
And he's not the first. (snip) the politicization of the bureau seems to be going hand in hand with the increased money and personnel being larded onto the bureau.
The FBI's annual budget as of 2020 stands at more than $9.3 billion, with 35,500 personnel

Not even five minutes after the announcement of a mass shooting in progress in Boulder, Colorado, social media erupted into the blame game.
It would be hilarious if it weren’t so damn predictable and tragic.
Liberal pundits wasted no time in condemning all white gun owners as tools for white supremacy. Without a shred of evidence or reporting, they immediately pinned the horror on a white man with a gun. It was obvious pretty quickly that the man was not white — when the suspect was apprehended, the usual suspects in the media had not yet reported on his race, his social media posts, or his red hats

When it comes to gun violence — and specifically, mass shootings — we have become used to a certain pattern of behavior from the other side of the political aisle. For those on the Left, each mass shooting event is but further evidence of a deep-rooted problem within American society. These terrible occurrences are condemned not as individual instances, but as part of a greater problem. A problem which simply must be solved, at any cost. Democrats rush to capitalize on this understandable desire for action by immediately promising to act. The problem, however, is that while not all actions are equal or effective, every action promoted by the Democrats

President Biden fell three times while climbing the steps to Air Force One. What’s most noteworthy about this is that he had a firm grip on the handrail throughout (snip) A simple web search reveals that 44% of Americans between the ages of 75 and 84 have some form of dementia. Biden’s family doctor, or even the White House physician, would have advised that changes in routine and environment, as well as increased stress, can make dementia symptoms worse.
Why did he do it? Well, I have a theory: Promises made but not yet kept.

Money from the founder of Facebook touted as being for safe elections during the pandemic may have affected the outcome of the presidential race in Arizona by driving up Democrat turnout, according to a government watchdog report.
The grant from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan focused more on “voter education” than personal protective equipment to guard against COVID-19, the report says.
The Zuckerbergs gave a total of $350 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life, a left-leaning technology group, that in turn issued grants to 2,500 election offices in 49 states.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador asserted that the Biden administration’s immigration policies have contributed to a surge of migrants that has overwhelmed facilities at the southern border in recent weeks.
President Biden reversed several Trump-era immigration measures, loosening restrictions for asylum claimants and ending a policy that required migrants to remain in Mexico while making their case to enter the United States. Lopez Obrador said the changes prompted migrants fleeing harsh conditions in Central America to risk the journey to the border.

Christian students have won a legal challenge against the University of Iowa after school administrators banned the Business Leaders in Christ (BLinC) student group from campus for requiring its student leaders to affirm the Christian faith.
A federal appeals court has ruled that university officials who kicked BLinC off campus because of its faith can be held personally accountable for the harm they caused, according to a press release from Becket Law, a non-profit public interest law firm that defends religious expression.

Barack Obama’s undersecretary of energy for science has shattered the popular global warming narrative. If he had worked in the Trump administration, he’d be labeled a “denier” and hounded like a suspected witch in 17th century Massachusetts. But because he was an Obama appointee, the press simply ignores him.
Steve Koonin, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology- and CalTech-educated physicist, said last week that “discussions of existential threat, climate crisis, climate disaster are really at odds with what the official science says in reports that are issued by the U.N. and the U.S. government.” Shouldn’t the press have picked up

The United States has always presented a roadblock to the ambitions of globalist oligarchs through its one-two punch of a Constitution that clearly constrains the powers of government while empowering the people and an American culture that prides itself on representing the last, best hope for freedom on the planet. So how do you "reset" America so that it becomes just another socialist country controlled by an elite few? You undermine America's freedoms by undermining her foundations. You go to war with the American people."White supremacy" is the socialists' "yellowcake uranium." It's really that simple.

The Democrats, whipped into a frenzy by shootings in Atlanta and Boulder, are once again coming for the Second Amendment. The Constitution, the relative rarity of mass shootings, the overwhelmingly positive use to which people put guns – none of that matters. The Democrats want an unarmed population and they will use whatever opportunity presents itself to achieve that goal.
Joe Biden freely professed his ignorance about events in Boulder but was certain that taking guns from law-abiding citizens was the fix

The Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JPCA) is a bait-and-switch attempt that claims to help conservative news sources but would instead purge them from the marketplace of ideas. Congress should reject it for the freedom-killer it is.
JCPA would give media companies — broadcast and print — an exemption from federal antitrust laws, so they can operate in a coordinated fashion to negotiate prices that social media companies like Facebook would have to pay them to carry their content. It would ensure that these tech billionaires would have to direct some of their riches into content providers.

Three-month-old babies should be taught about implicit bias and racial stereotypes, according to a series of experts quoted in The Washington Post.
In a much-mocked article last week, entitled 'Social justice for toddlers', parents were given a list of books, websites, YouTube channels and companies offering 'woke' material for babies and young children.
'Children develop implicit bias as early as three months old, and at four years old are categorizing and developing stereotypes,' one expert told author Natalie Jesionka, a Dalla Lana Global Journalism Fellow at the University of Toronto.

Democratic Rep. Veronica Escobar blasted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for saying Joe Biden's immigration policy is bringing the coronavirus into the U.S.
During Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Escobar said Abbott is engaging in an “old, racist trope” that is “really dangerous.”
She went on to say that such remarks could pawn violence like the 2019 mass shooting in El Paso. [SNIP] "The idea of immigrants bringing disease, that is an old, racist trope intended to inspire fear and hatred," she said.

The following ten people perished in the recent shooting in Boulder, Colorado carried out by Ahmad Al-Issa. All of them appear to be white, but neither the media nor politicians have bothered to resurrect their anti-race-hate campaign that ensues when Black Lives Matter riot, or when Asians are murdered in Atlanta. The victims include grocery store workers, local college graduates, medicare agents, a police officer, and an Orthodox Christian. Today, The National Pulse calls on the political left and their media counterparts to stop the racial hatred they continue to perpetuate against white people, which doubtlessly led to these murders in Colorado.
