For the Evangelical Christians who have given--and still give--overwhelming support to President Trump while refusing to criticize him for language and behavior they would presumably denounce in a fellow church member, here’s an easy one for you. [Snip] White-Cain is soliciting donations before Easter of $1,000 or more to her “ministry.” In exchange she promises “7 specific supernatural blessings.”...None of this is new for White-Cain and other “prosperity gospel” ministers, but the difference is that she associates, advises and presumably has influence over the president of the United States. [Snip] Their “doctrine” seems to be “let us prey.”

Elon Musk’s days as a senior White House adviser may be coming to an end — along with his government-slashing Department of Government Efficiency.
President Donald Trump hinted Monday that his close ally Musk may have to go back to running his companies full time and that the tumultuous mission of DOGE will have been accomplished after firing tens of thousands of government employees.
“I think he’s amazing but I also think he’s got a big company to run and so at some point he’s going to be going back,” Trump said of the Tesla CEO. “He wants to. I’d keep him as long as I could keep him.”

During the 118th Congress, as House Republicans were investigating the Biden crime family, Congress heard from many of then First Son Hunter Biden's previous associates ,including Devon Archer and Jason Galanis. These two men provided invaluable insight. They also said they were targeted for their willingness to come forward. Now, President Donald Trump has granted clemency to both men. Most recently, Trump granted clemency to Galanis last Friday, commuting his entire sentence. The New York Times reported on the commutation earlier on Monday.
As we covered at the time in February of last year, the House Oversight Committee heard jailhouse testimony from Galanis,

One of the reasons the United States won World War II was because we could outproduce our enemies. As White House Senior Adviser for Trade and Manufacturing Peter Navarro explained in a Fox News Sunday interview, the American “arsenal of democracy” permitted the Allies to triumph.

Washington – President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday to drive further investment in the United States, as major companies have combined for trillions of dollars in American investments since he took office.
The order creates the “United States Investment Accelerator,” which will be an office within the Department of Commerce, a White House fact sheet notes. The office is “meant to facilitate and accelerate investments above $1 billion in the United States.” The office will cut red tape and expedite permitting as two parts of a six-faceted plan to attract companies:

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has wasted no time shaking up the military since joining the Trump administration, bringing a no-nonsense, mission-first approach to the Pentagon. In his latest move, Hegseth ordered a 60-day review of military combat arms standards to ensure no exceptions are being made for female troops to enter physically demanding roles within the branches. Hegseth has committed to ensuring combat readiness over political correctness and reinforces the idea that the U.S. military should be held to the same rigorous standards regardless of gender.

Just when you think you've heard everything there is to hear about how Democrats covered up Joe Biden's dramatic physical and cognitive decline as president, there's more.
As RedState recently reported, there was a point late in his ill-fated re-election campaign when Biden's handlers had to use fluorescent tape on the floor to keep him from wandering off during a speaking engagement. That was revealed in a new book entitled "Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House," and more excerpts have been released.
One incident involved Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), with Biden seemingly not knowing who the Congressman was.

California officials have envisioned a host of sweeping changes for San Quentin State Prison as they attempt to remake the facility into a Scandinavian-style rehabilitation center complete with a farmer’s market, a podcast production studio and a self-service grocery store. The renovations are expected to cost California taxpayers $239 million, according to state officials. Construction was on track to finish in January 2026, with the first incarcerated people set to begin using the revamped facility within months of completion early next year. The overhaul of what Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office has called California’s “most notorious prison” was set in motion shortly after Newsom was elected in 2018.

“Small minds are concerned with the extraordinary, great minds with ordinary,” philosopher Blaise Pascal wrote. How do we make sense of this striking assertion? It seems to contradict common sense. Aren’t the greatest minds concerned with the greatest events, theories, ideas, and visions, not the insignificant details of daily life?
Pascal’s surprising statement deserves a closer examination, a teasing apart in order to discover the wisdom within.
Great minds understand the importance of the ordinary. After all, much of life consists of the ordinary. (snip), to discard mundane moments as unimportant would be a great mistake and lead us to believe that the bulk of our lives is meaningless.

As civilized people, it's sometimes hard for us to fathom the utter barbarity of which other - well, I hesitate to use the term human, so let's say other members of our species - are capable. Some of us have been to other parts of the world where barbarity is commonplace, and we still have a hard time wrapping our civilized minds around it. When it comes to Signalgate, Democrats and the mainstream media have talked the issue to death, giving CNN's conservative commentator Scott Jennings plenty of opportunities to discuss the matter. A consistent theme from Jennings has been to remind the liberal commentators that he's not going to take lectures on national security from those who supported or even worked for such a failing administration as the Biden-Harris one. The Yankees’ new torpedo bats might be here to stay.
Despite many fans’ worries that the bats may be illegal, they do not violate MLB rules.
MLB requires that bats are smooth, round and don’t have diameters or lengths of more than 2.61 inches and 42 inches, respectively.
So, the Yankees’ reallocation of the wood in the bats is within the rules — and they are starting to spread. (Photos) Buster Olney reported during “Sunday Night Baseball” that the Braves ordered torpedo bats after the Yankees’ 20-run, nine-homer barrage on Saturday.
The Athletic reported that some teams like the Cubs and Red Sox utilized the bats in spring training, but switched back

Billionaire entrepreneur and Trump advisor Elon Musk dropped a bombshell this weekend during a fiery 100-minute town hall in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he campaigned for conservative judge Brad Schimel in the state’s upcoming Supreme Court election on Tuesday.
Joined by Antonio Gracias, a private equity titan and a key member of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team tasked with rooting out waste in the federal government, Musk unveiled a shocking chart: a dramatic spike in Social Security Numbers issued to non-citizens, soaring from 270,000 in 2021 to a mind-blowing 2.1 million in 2024.

A 70-year-old man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly striking an Elon Musk supproter with his vehicle during an anti-Tesla rally outside a dealership in Meridian, Idaho, according to local law enforcement.
ABC News reports that on Saturday, approximately 30 people gathered outside a Tesla dealership in Meridian, Idaho, to protest against the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, and his role in the Trump administration’s federal job cuts. The protest was overshadowed by a counter-protest of about 200 individuals. The White House plans to take over the seating chart for the press briefing room and will likely boot some legacy media outlets farther back, according to a report.
It’s the Trump administration’s latest effort to shake up traditional media’s grip on White House coverage.
The White House is looking to impose its own seating chart in coming weeks, taking over a function long managed by the White House Correspondents’ Association, according to Axios.
Though legacy media outlets will still be included in the chart, some will likely be demoted from their coveted upfront seats, a senior White House official told Axios.

The Trump administration and its Republican allies in Congress say they will fully enforce sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and are prepared to expand them in response to recent efforts from top ICC officials to evade the measures.
Earlier this month, Judge Tomoko Akane, the ICC’s president, petitioned the European Union to invoke what is known as the blocking statute, a legal maneuver that shields EU members from sanctions issued by third-party countries such as the United States. Akane told the EU’s parliament "it is obvious the court cannot survive alone," warning them that "the time to act is now" by invoking the blocking statute, which would allow

In a ritzy enclave of South Florida, Chinese migrants are coming ashore via boat, leading to an investigation into human smuggling networks. Coral Gables is a picturesque city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, known for its Mediterranean Revival architecture, tree-lined streets and lush landscapes. One Coral Gables neighborhood, Gables Estates, is ranked as the most expensive housing market in the country, according to data by Zillow.
But in recent months, the dazzling city has seen an uptick of Chinese migrant interceptions.
The city's uptick is representative of the Sunshine State's influx of Chinese nationals since 2020, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.

Universities thrown into turmoil by Trump administration funding cuts are now facing a new and possibly larger threat in the form of tax hikes from the Republican congressional majorities.
Republicans are weighing a major increase in the tax on big university endowments, as well as a raft of other measures to raise revenues from higher education.
The GOP is motivated to raise taxes on universities because it needs to find revenues to offset the major tax cuts it aims to enact in a sweeping fiscal overhaul. However, higher education is also a prime target because Republicans view it as overrun by left-wing radicalism.

U.S. taxpayers have shelled out tens of thousands of dollars in recent years to the U.S. Department of Agriculture for research on LGBT issues, the kind of funding now under scrutiny by the Trump administration.
The research relies on conducting interviews – in one case for $373 per Zoom call – to explore a researcher's hypothesis of widespread discrimination.
For instance, one taxpayer-funded research grant studied “queer farmers quality of life in Pennsylvania,” federal records show, one of several grants of its kind.
The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Projects – a federally funded research arm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture – paid $14,997 for the 2018 grant.

In contrast, just 27 per cent of British Muslims said they primarily identified as British, English, or Scottish.

All eyes are on the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, where liberals currently hold a 4-3 majority. On Tuesday, voters will choose between a conservative judge, Brad Schimel, and a liberal judge, Susan Crawford, to fill a vacancy and possibly flip the court to conservative control.
What difference does it make? A lot — and not just in Wisconsin.
If liberals retain control, it is likely that the court will unwind the public sector union reforms enacted when Scott Walker was governor, something high on labor unions’ wish list for the past decade. Issues such as abortion are also on the agenda.

A “political death sentence” has been handed out to three-time presidential candidate and current frontrunner in the race to replace President Emmanuel Macron in 2027, Marine Le Pen.
The Paris court found that Le Pen, along with eight other National Rally Members of the European Parliament, had embezzled 2.9 million euros in funds intended for parliamentary assistants for the party in Strasbourg on political operations in France.

Did the last five years, call it “the age of woke,” really happen — or were they just a fever dream?
Apparently we all imagined a time where COVID and cancel culture collided to oppress us.
No one was shunned for saying really obvious and true things, schools weren’t closed indefinitely under pressure from teachers’ unions, and race conflict wasn’t pushed on Americans from every direction. At least that’s what the left would have us believe.
On Wednesday when National Public Radio CEO Katherine Maher testified in a congressional hearing, she stumbled on some basic questions . . . involving her own opinions. “Do you believe that America is addicted to white supremacy?”

Two prosecutors were fired, with at least 50 US attorneys and their associates also being given pink slips. The latter isn’t new either—it’s customary for a new administration to pick new US attorneys. Let’s call it the Clinton protocol (via NYT):

This is one of the examples of narrative engineering that is simply infuriating. NBC has driven dozens of articles, pundit claims and discussion segments from their “transcription” of a recorded phone interview with President Trump. However, no actual audio of the interview is presented.
President Trump weaves through interviews in his answers, providing context, tone, inflection and detail for each point of a conversation he is answering. It is the context that surrounds the “quote” that becomes important when understanding what the president says.

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), the Subcommittee Chair, did a good job of outlining the threat it presents news outlets that refuse to parrot corporate media propaganda. Unfortunately, neither Sen. Schmitt nor his articulate witnesses devoted anything like enough attention to the capture of our public education system by the censorship regime promoted by the nation’s two largest teachers unions.

A newly surfaced video from a Washtenaw County (Michigan) Democratic Party gathering has pulled back the curtain on the left’s latest efforts to obstruct President Donald Trump. The event, titled “Democratic Responses to Trump’s Attacks & Lessons Learned from 2024 MI House Races,” was a rallying cry for progressive activists and Democratic organizers looking for a strategy to fight Trump’s policies and influence.
The video captures Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell and others openly discussing ways to counter Trump’s agenda. Their focus wasn’t limited to winning elections—they were plotting ways to undermine Trump at every opportunity. The discussion made it clear that they view Trump as an existential threat

President Donald Trump revealed that a tree planted by former President Andrew Jackson “many years ago” would be removed, noting that the tree is in “terrible condition.”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the magnolia tree, which came from Jackson’s home, The Hermitage, in Nashville, Tennessee, was also a “very dangerous safety hazard.” Trump added that the tree would “be replaced by another, very beautiful tree.”

The progressive movement has led the Democrat party into a political black hole. And just as happens in nature, it’s not clear that it can find its way out.
The contemporary progressive movement arguably began with the cultural revolution of the 1960s. The initial reforms inspired salutary policy initiatives, including the end of Jim Crow laws, the institution of Medicare, and the opening of career opportunities for women.
Unfortunately, the insatiable discontent with any existing social structure, which fuels the progressive left, has led to chaotic outcomes of initially worthy policies. For example:
The laudable Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s quickly evolved

Updated on: March 30, 2025 / 10:08 PM EDT / CBS/AP
A unanimous Wisconsin Supreme Court on Sunday refused to hear a last-minute attempt by the state's Democratic attorney general to stop billionaire Elon Musk from handing over $1 million checks to two voters, a ruling that came just minutes before the start of the rally.
Two lower courts had already rejected the legal challenge by Democrat Josh Kaul, who argues that Musk's offer violates

Protests unfolded outside of Tesla showrooms across the country this weekend over Elon Musk's role helping lead President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, sparking questions to fly as to who is funding the purported "grassroots" demonstrations.
"Who is funding and organizing all these paid protests?" Musk posted to X early Sunday morning, accompanied by a video clip of podcast host Joe Rogan discussing left-wing protests in recent days.
A "Tesla Takedown" movement formed in recent days, with more than 200 protests planned on Saturday in the U.S., and another few hundred planned protests in Canada and Europe as part of the "global day of action."
