Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has wasted no time shaking up the military since joining the Trump administration, bringing a no-nonsense, mission-first approach to the Pentagon. In his latest move, Hegseth ordered a 60-day review of military combat arms standards to ensure no exceptions are being made for female troops to enter physically demanding roles within the branches. Hegseth has committed to ensuring combat readiness over political correctness and reinforces the idea that the U.S. military should be held to the same rigorous standards regardless of gender.

Smart move, we want a strong military.
Having females on the battlefield could make it a dangerous situation. During an assault, male soldiers have to battle the enemy, but they would want to protect the female next to them.

You HAVE to be able to do the JOB!
You don't see females on NFL teams or NBA teams - they cannot physically perform at the same level.
.... and that's just Playing a GAME!
War is Life and Death!

And please, stop this insanity of women in Ranger School, rescind the coveted "tab" from any who were "awarded" one in the past), and do not allow women from either being in, or commanding combat arms units. Sorry ladies, but there are just some things the lads are better suited for by design.

When my daughter was in the Army, she was emphatic that women should not be in combat roles. Generally, they don’t have the strength or stamina, and the act of relieving themselves is a long arduous process when in combat gear.

I worked with quite a few women in the military and was glad for most of them. When the job required intellect they were worth their weight in gold. The flip side was that, try as they might, they couldn't unload trucks, they couldnt function well on fire teams, and many used their feminine charms to avoid the really unpleasant duties. Not to mention that their very presence created distraction and drama. They were great in office environments. Not so great elsewhere.

Unfortunately, not all women are Demi Moore. Hegseth is showing his detractors how wrong they were in opposing his nomination. He makes the overweight Austin and the dimwitted Milley look like old assistant high school football coaches. There are plenty of jobs in the military that do not include frontline combat. Look at Tulsi Gabbard.

Those female activists who have claimed that women can do everything a man can do and that there is no difference between a man and woman get to prove this now. Making standards equal for everyone makes everyone safer. Women in the military are great when in the right positions.

Just commonsense...women do not play in the NFL, MLB, NBA not because they are women but because of their physical capability. It is more important in the life and death situations of combat soldiers where if you can't do the assignment ...you or your other soldiers may die...if you can't physically cut it...don't be in that combat unit.

Has anyone studied history?
Has anyone studied about how the Nazi's treated women prisoners?
You might want to take a look.

Love it. 50 yrs ago, the Air Force first tried to socially engineer the Security Police career field, which I was in at the time. I remember our first woman assigned to our flight and during a training exercise, refused to carry an M-60 machine gun and ammo. I figured if she could refuse to carry the M-60, I could refuse to carry the PRC radio. The E-8 in charge then told me "sure, you don't have to carry the radio, you're my M-60 gunner." Our woman SP was given a spot in the base defense security control center. In the mid-80's, women were then allowed into SP's. I cross trained into another career field before I saw that.

#11, one almost shot my foot off at Camp Bullis. The instructors corrected the problem by firing all her rounds for her.

Does this mean the Trannies can't wear their Pink TUTU Dresses in combat?
On the bright side, when the Trannies show up the enemy is laughing so hard they can't fight!
