Fraudsters have been applying for aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the recent California wildfires, filling in addresses within the burn zone before the actual residents can claim their relief. Many residents of the Pacific Palisades, several of whom have been in contact with Breitbart News, report that when they applied for aid through the FEMA website, they reached a screen that said “Duplicate Application.” The result is that potentially thousands of people who desperately need cash — to pay for alternative accommodation, or simply to buy food and clothes — are unable to receive what FEMA has offered them. Some three years ago, a Danish public radio podcast brought to light one of the darkest chapters in relations between Denmark and Greenland: the so-called IUD scandal. The podcast made public a Danish government program that forced thousands of young women in Greenland, many of them minors, to have intrauterine devices (IUD coils) inserted into their wombs as a form of compulsory birth control in the 1960s and 1970s. Although Greenland — which is mostly populated by indigenous Inuit — was no longer a Danish colony after 1953, it was nevertheless not independent, but rather a Danish province. We have a saying around here, “You can’t hate the media enough,” and the reason it resonates is because every time you think they’ve sunk to a new low, they sink just that much lower. On Tuesday, the fashion magazine Vogue unleashed such a bitter, elitist, nasty critique of First Lady Melania Trump’s official portrait, which was released Monday, that it made your jaw drop. It was a story about a portrait, for Pete's sake. Many, including our own Becky Noble, thought Melania was stylish and gorgeous and showed “her trademark class and elegance.”

Train robberies are something we associate with Western movies, wherein gangs of outlaws pursue the train on horseback, waving sixguns and jumping from their horses onto the cars to rob the passengers and maybe steal a Wells Fargo strongbox full of gold coins. The notorious Mexican Sinaloa cartel, though, has taken the train robbery up to the 21st-century level. A recent report describes just such a robbery in Arizona, where thousands of dollars worth of Nike shoes were stolen. Fortunately, the desperados were caught, and the merchandise returned. For years, the legacy media (hereinafter the “Leg-Meds”) parroted the Democrats’ line that the population of immigrants can be divided into the “documented” ones and the “undocumented” ones. The euphemism “undocumented” finally became a joke, and so the Leg-Meds and the other Democrats eventually surrendered to the word “illegal.” However, within that category of “illegals,” they clung (bitterly) to the notion that about 99.9999999% were “law-abiding” and only the remaining 0.0000001% were criminals.
