We really have to start asking, are the dems really a viable party to run the Country? They, more and more, feel like they are running to a movie script and are all talk and no actions. You do know that most of what happens in the movies isn't based on any type of reality? For example, as much as I really like Trump, he is never going to take on a bunch of terrorists on his plane like Harrison Ford did in "Air Force One". It's not REAL folks. Yet, more and more, the dems seem like they are making a movie. They have a lot of dialog and they have their own PR department, the media. And more and more, nothing real happens. We label it incompetence but are they really even trying? Do they even know how? They set the script so they don't have to do much and are JUSTIFIED in doing nothing. For example, it can be hard work to protect the border, catch illegals, and return them to wherever they came from. But the dems say, illegals are OK so we don't need to do that work. It's hard work to do real science to understand how the environment works. A lot of the mechanisms that control nature are complex and perhaps somewhat unknowable. How many studies have we seen telling us one thing and 20 years later find out it was wrong. The dems instead focus on blaming US for things with just a dash of "science", bought and paid for by the dem government, to make it somewhat believable. Government doesn't have to do much, but WE need to live with all sorts of inconveniences to "fix" the problem, sometime so far in the future that we will never be able to check on the outcome and whether it worked or not. I could keep going on but I return to the question, "Are dems really good at doing anything? Or is everything they do a Deep Fake, mostly designed to keep them in power to fix it all?" Biden was senile and it let his government loose to do what the dems wanted. The result was disastrous across the board. NONE of them could "shoot straight", not even on the agenda items that they wanted to achieve. Their media was screaming about what they had accomplished but a hard look showed it was all smoke and mirrors. "Are dems really good at doing anything?" The question is rhetorical.

In a banana republic, when people go against a criminal political order, demanding an investigation, protesting election chaos, and an apparent coup d’état, the government that stole the election takes a hard stand. But this was no banana republic. In order to 'legitimize' their power base and conceal their complicity, the Democrats had to show the world how serious and 'illicit' the opposition was. They made them look as guilty as possible, imprisoning scores of people, many in solitary confinement without trial, erecting steel fencing around the Capitol building, and conducting investigations of sorts. The Democrats, along with the FBI and numerous toadies, were complicit in one of the

“Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid.” --Ronald Reagan For those of us who grew up not giving much credibility to evil, the last nine years have been a serious wake-up call. From the moment Donald Trump came down that escalator in June 2015, the left went to work to destroy the man. Why? The most obvious reason was that he was an outsider to the uniparty establishment. He had rebuilt the skyline of New York and was friends with, donors to, a long list of Democrats and Republicans, Americans of every color and creed, from Oprah to Mike Tyson, from Dana White to Linda McMahon.

The White House has released its official list of movies that Joe Biden screened in the White House Family Theater during his term, and it’s weird, to say the least. (Snip) One flick that stands out is Adam Sandler’s “Little Nicky.” Really? I like a few Sandler movies, but there are plenty I’ve never bothered to waste my time watching, and this is one of them. There are admittedly, plenty of films here that I’ve never seen or even heard of. “Shortbus,” according to IMDB, is about “a group of New Yorkers caught up in their romantic-sexual milieu converge at an underground salon infamous for its blend of art, music, politics,

And I think it’s fair to say that we’re long-time, at some level, admirers of Joe Biden. What he’s done to himself is, no one wants to hear from this guy anymore, OK?" He added, "Just go to your condo in Rehoboth and stay there. And that’s

The inherent defect of wind turbines is that they produce no electricity when the wind isn’t blowing (or when it is blowing too hard, but that is a less serious problem). That is what they are experiencing in the U.K. right now: Wind power has collapsed to less than 1pc of Britain’s electricity supply as some of the stillest weather in years hits the UK and Europe. *** Near-zero wind speeds and low temperatures have left the UK dependent on France, Norway, Belgium and Denmark to keep the lights on through much of today, with the countries collectively supplying more than 10pc of the UK’s electricity

First, it was global cooling, then global warming, until they came up with the climate crisis wording that never had to change. Sometimes, the phrasing is all they need. Back in the 1970s, the ominous threat was from global cooling until things started warming up. Then, they turned on a dine to make it global warming. And that’s still the operative propaganda phrase when the weather is going in the right direction. But then the environmental activists came up with the phrase for the crisis that made it unfalsifiable -- climate change. So, when there’s a cold snap -- it’s climate change. A heat wave -- climate change. Snow --

In 2007, the Supreme Court ruled that carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping emissions (methane, nitrous oxide, and some other stuff) are pollutants under the Clean Air Act and that the government has the authority to curb them. Since then, the world has been subjected to numerous climate-related laws and treaties, along with assorted governmental, academic, and corporate pressures — all serving to hype the “existential threat” that is climate change. The number-one culprit all along has been atmospheric carbon dioxide. There is nothing inherently wrong with qualitative versus quantitative statements, but there has been an inordinate amount of hand-waving to explain

It’s Day 2 of the “Elon Musk gave a Nazi salute” shtick from the media and the leftist political class. Why are they doing this, and will it have traction? The faux Nazi salute saga started when Musk, who has a slightly twitchy, overly enthusiastic affect, gave a speech during which he thanked voters from his heart for electing Donald Trump, a man who will restore constitutional liberties to America. What he did was quite obviously was touch his hand to his heart and then throw his heart to the crowd, which is not exactly a part of the approved Nazi salute: (X) The left, however, seized upon this gesture. "Sustainability" investments became popular a few years back. So-called experts said companies shouldn't just focus on profit. They should put more effort into being "nice." Funds pushing ESG (environmental, social and governance) were all the rage. Giant investment firms like BlackRock pressured companies to hire more women and minorities. CEO Larry Fink announced, "All investments are going to be looked through sustainability." But "sustainability" is a mostly meaningless word. Parnassus claimed it helped meet UN sustainability goals of "nutrition" and "sanitation" by investing in U.S. Foods and Clorox. Starbucks phased out plastic straws while adding lids that used more plastic. BP rebranded itself as "Beyond Petroleum." Wisely, it mostly invested in petroleum. Former Vice President Al Gore made

Mexican authorities blocked a US military plane from deporting illegal migrants on Thursday after President Trump's immigration crackdown began. US officials told NBC News that a jet filled with illegal immigrants bound for Mexico never took off after authorities south of the border rejected the move. The flight was one of three that were set to take off on Thursday, alongside two Guatemala-bound Air Force C-17s carrying over 150 people, as part of what Trump has described as the largest mass deportation effort in US history. Deporting migrants to foreign countries requires permission from the incoming nation's government, which Mexico declined on Thursday.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had good qualities. He pushed through Trump’s judicial nominees during the first presidency, got his tax cuts passed, and is a noted legislative strategist and tactician. It doesn’t mean he always bats a thousand, but McConnell got key portions of the Trump agenda passed after the 2016 election. Now, he’s erased all that goodwill with this dastardly vote against Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense. McConnell’s defection, plus that of Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME), led to Vice President JD Vance performing his constitutional duty to break the tie.

After the 2024 election, the Biden administration knew what was coming in January: a massive crackdown on aid to Ukraine. Since Kamala Harris’ epic defeat last November, the Biden White House wasted little time, if any, sending hordes of cash to the eastern European nation, which became more of an outlet for liberals raging at Russia for supposedly interfering in the 2016 election than a national security priority. Like anything Biden touched, this issue became more unpopular as the months progressed. With Secretary of State Marco Rubio, all aid has been shut down.
