The potential for a shakeup left some among the petty press warning of a “boycott” should their ivory towers be toppled with expanded credentialing. Like the “expert class” and the tenure-protected squatters within the halls of academia, a consensus through shunning differing opinions had ingrained hubris on qualifications. With the foundation of corporate media still rocked from a demonstrated lack of sway over voters for the 2024 election, talk of President-elect Donald Trump allowing podcasters and other alternative media producers into the White House press briefing had some wanting to take the ball, which had never been theirs, and go home. “I’m sure the association is looking at all of its options,

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Romney announced last year that he wouldn’t seek reelection following two failed Presidential campaigns and one term in the Senate. This is the best thing Romney, 77, has done in his 30-year political career since his first failed run for Senate in 1994. In his address, the career politician trashed those “who would tear at our unity” and “replace love with hate,” likely aimed at President Trump.

My ears always perk up when I hear that a lifelong Democrat has thrown his or her support behind President-elect Donald Trump. One of the biggest surprises of the 2024 election cycle was the sheer number of people who did just that. Two key factors drove this shift. First, many working-class voters finally grasped that the Democratic Party, which they had blindly supported for decades, had abandoned them. The second factor concerned Democrats at the opposite end of the economic spectrum — a group that included tech billionaires, hedge fund managers, and the ultrawealthy, many with direct access to the Biden White House. The Biden-Harris administration has granted millions of dollars in funding for a virtual treatment that aims to help cure eating disorders by “affirming” LGBTQIA+ patients’ sexual orientation and gender claims. The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded Auburn University Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences Tiffany Brown and San Diego State University Professor of Psychology Aaron Blashill up to $5 million in grants to “develop and provide” the Promoting Resilience to Improve Disordered Eating (PRIDE) treatment — a virtual “identity-affirming eating disorder treatment for LGBTQIA+ patients,” the Auburn University College of Liberal Arts website states.

Under normal circumstances, it takes a year or two before a president can have an impact on the economy or world affairs. But Donald Trump won’t be president for almost two months, and already we are feeling the effects of his election. Consumers are more confident, manufacturers more optimistic, investors more bullish. Canada is promising to toughen up its border controls. Ukraine is talking about how to end its nearly three-year-long war. There’s a ceasefire in the Middle East. Heck, even Trump’s favorability rating broke through 50%, a rarity since he first announced his candidacy in 2015. Let’s look at the evidence:

As the Biden regime prepares to exit, it has orchestrated a move as a cunning attempt to undermine the incoming Trump administration’s agenda to streamline government operations. In a last-minute deal, the Biden regime has locked in telework protections for 42,000 Social Security Administration (SSA) employees until 2029. The agreement, reached with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), ensures remote work privileges for these federal workers for the next five years, despite the Trump administration’s explicit plans to slash such arrangements, according to Bloomberg.

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins called President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter Biden a “political timebomb” that left Dems in “the blast radius” — and pointed out his hypocrisy after years of claiming he would respect the Justice Department’s rulings. The Democratic president late Sunday pardoned Hunter, who was convicted of federal gun and tax evasion charges earlier this year, after repeatedly denying he would use his pardoning powers for his 54-year-old son. “With 50 days left in his presidency, Joe Biden just set off a political timebomb before leaving for Africa today,

South Korea’s opposition parties Wednesday submitted a motion to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol over the shocking and short-lived martial law that drew heavily armed troops to encircle parliament before lawmakers climbed walls to reenter the building and unanimously voted to lift his order. Impeaching Yoon would require the support of two-thirds of parliament and at least six justices of the nine-member Constitutional Court would have to support it to remove him from office. The motion, submitted jointly by the main opposition Democratic Party and five smaller opposition parties, could be put to a vote as early as Friday.

At a noisy holiday party, a friend pulled me aside for a quiet conversation. He’s long been a major Democratic donor in New York and nationally but has grown increasingly disenchanted with the party’s far-left policies. “You were right about Trump,” he whispered, before delivering the bombshell: “And I voted for him.” We shook hands and laughed. The election resulted in numerous Dems switching sides, but my friend’s conversion stands out because it shows Trump cut into the top ranks of the party hierarchy. And the conversation came even before President Biden’s pardon proved another shock to Dem officials and their propaganda outlets.

No matter how many crimes Hunter committed, Joe always said he was the smartest man in the world and never did anything wrong.

[Snip] The schemes to hide Joe Biden’s long-standing dementia,...the lies to protect the Biden crime syndicate, and the final pardon will cement Joe Biden’s reputation not just as the most incompetent but also as the most corrupt and dishonest president in U.S. history.
