The potential for a shakeup left some among the petty press warning of a “boycott” should their ivory towers be toppled with expanded credentialing.
Like the “expert class” and the tenure-protected squatters within the halls of academia, a consensus through shunning differing opinions had ingrained hubris on qualifications. With the foundation of corporate media still rocked from a demonstrated lack of sway over voters for the 2024 election, talk of President-elect Donald Trump allowing podcasters and other alternative media producers into the White House press briefing had some wanting to take the ball, which had never been theirs, and go home.

President-elect Donald Trump is not playing games with Hamas terrorists but MSNBC’s Joy Reid has a problem with his hard-line warning on the release of hostages.
With an estimated 63 hostages, some American, still being held inside Gaza more than one year after the Hamas attack on Israel, Trump is warning the Iranian-backed terrorist group that there will be a reckoning if hostages are not released by the time he is inaugurated in January. This, for the host of “The ReidOut” is akin to a mob boss demand.

Mitt Romney, who will also be remembered by his weird Twitter pseudonym, Pierre Delecto, gave a farewell address on the Senate Floor Wednesday before leaving Washington and the government, hopefully for good.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Romney announced last year that he wouldn’t seek reelection following two failed Presidential campaigns and one term in the Senate.
This is the best thing Romney, 77, has done in his 30-year political career since his first failed run for Senate in 1994.
In his address, the career politician trashed those “who would tear at our unity” and “replace love with hate,” likely aimed at President Trump.

The night was November 5th, 2024. Political prisoner Enrique Tarrio lay flat on the floor of a solitary jail cell in Mississippi with his ear pressed to the bottom of the door.
The night turned into the early morning hours of November 6th. Tarrio waited breathlessly, listening to the noises of faint radio broadcasts.
Around 1:00 AM, the news projected Donald Trump won Pennsylvania.
Tarrio took a full breath of the air coming under the door of his tiny cell. Oxygen. Hope.
In the rural Mississippi prison, surrounded by Trump-supporting guards and inmates, Tarrio heard chants of “TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!” begin to echo through the halls of the facility.
Tarrio took another deep breath. Redemption.

My ears always perk up when I hear that a lifelong Democrat has thrown his or her support behind President-elect Donald Trump. One of the biggest surprises of the 2024 election cycle was the sheer number of people who did just that.
Two key factors drove this shift. First, many working-class voters finally grasped that the Democratic Party, which they had blindly supported for decades, had abandoned them.
The second factor concerned Democrats at the opposite end of the economic spectrum — a group that included tech billionaires, hedge fund managers, and the ultrawealthy, many with direct access to the Biden White House. They saw that the line

Former House Speaker and current CA Rep. Nancy Pelosi is infamously considered by many—including President Joe Biden himself—to be the chief architect behind the movement to force him to abandon his reelection campaign over concerns he couldn’t win. That didn’t work out so well, however, as the Obama-Pelosi-Schumer-Jeffries cabal that took down a sitting president quickly found out that the next in line—Kamala Harris—was utterly unprepared for the job as his replacement.
Harris promptly faceplanted and lost the popular vote, the electoral vote, and all seven swing states.

We reported on Tuesday about how Joe Biden said that he was giving Africa a billion dollars to deal with disasters, including "food insecurity." I noted how insane that was given that we have people right now in North Carolina living in tents who are still not getting the help or the money they need to survive in the wake of Hurricane Helene -- that's since September.
What is he doing in Africa when his first priority should be America and Americans?
All he seemed to be doing was embarrassing us including falling asleep at a summit meeting. Here's another video of how obviously it was he was asleep

As the Danny Penny jury deliberates, this farce of a trial has made one thing abundantly plain: Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg needs to go.
This case never should have gone to court.
The prosecution’s own witnesses proved that every rational person in that subway car — veterans of the subway system — feared for their lives after Jordan Neely burst through the doors and began ranting death threats as he half-lunged at other straphangers.
Penny heroically acted to protect them.
It’s a tragedy that Neely wound up dead, but Penny was far from the only author of that tragedy:

From the moment of Joe Biden’s coup d’état “victory” in 2020, Democrats, who had spent years telling everyone our elections were vulnerable to manipulation, suddenly began telling us it was the most secure election in American history.
Not long after the inauguration, adding insult to injury, Molly Ball wrote a long piece in TIME describing all of the maneuvers and manipulations Democrats had used to steal the election and their preparations for “protests”—read violence—if their coup didn’t succeed. But it did, and they were gloating about it.
Since that time, we’ve all come to see exactly what happened, much of it described in Mollie Hemingway’s bible on the coup: Rigged.

This followed reports that Biden was urgently pushing Congress to approve more assistance to Kyiv before his term ends. Aides of President Joe Biden are debating whether the outgoing Democratic president should issue preemptive pardons for figures President-elect Donald Trump has named as his political enemies.
Politico reported Wednesday that among those being discussed for blanket pardons are former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, Sen.-elect Adam Schiff and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Biden - who has been busy dealing with the fallout from his decision to pardon his son Hunter over gun and tax crimes - hasn't been brought into the discussions yet, the outlet said.
White House officials fear that doling out pardons to people who haven't been charged with a crime could suggest impropriety.

Neely rushed onto a subway car with women and children, shouted that someone would "die today," and warned that he wasn't afraid to go to prison for life. Penny grabbed him in a chokehold or headlock, took him to the ground, and he later died.

The justices heard oral arguments Wednesday in United States v. Skrmetti, a case about whether Tennessee’s law banning transgender operations and hormone treatments for minors is Constitutional under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

Then they were in the Cabinet of the future former President and current organized crime boss who both commits and pardons family criminal acts. (One stop shopping, is he.)

The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded Auburn University Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences Tiffany Brown and San Diego State University Professor of Psychology Aaron Blashill up to $5 million in grants to “develop and provide” the Promoting Resilience to Improve Disordered Eating (PRIDE) treatment — a virtual “identity-affirming eating disorder treatment for LGBTQIA+ patients,” the Auburn University College of Liberal Arts website states.

The CEO of insurance company UnitedHealthcare’s insurance unit, Brian Thompson, was shot and killed by a masked gunman in what appears to be a targeted attack in New York City, unnamed officials said in media reports on Wednesday.
UnitedHealthcare did not immediately respond to an Epoch Times request for comment. The health giant also has not issued a statement on reports of Thompson’s death.
The company was hosting its investor day on Wednesday, which was closed before time due to “a very serious medical situation” with one of its team members,

Under normal circumstances, it takes a year or two before a president can have an impact on the economy or world affairs. But Donald Trump won’t be president for almost two months, and already we are feeling the effects of his election.
Consumers are more confident, manufacturers more optimistic, investors more bullish. Canada is promising to toughen up its border controls. Ukraine is talking about how to end its nearly three-year-long war. There’s a ceasefire in the Middle East.
Heck, even Trump’s favorability rating broke through 50%, a rarity since he first announced his candidacy in 2015.
Let’s look at the evidence:

As the Biden regime prepares to exit, it has orchestrated a move as a cunning attempt to undermine the incoming Trump administration’s agenda to streamline government operations.
In a last-minute deal, the Biden regime has locked in telework protections for 42,000 Social Security Administration (SSA) employees until 2029.
The agreement, reached with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), ensures remote work privileges for these federal workers for the next five years, despite the Trump administration’s explicit plans to slash such arrangements, according to Bloomberg.

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins called President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter Biden a “political timebomb” that left Dems in “the blast radius” — and pointed out his hypocrisy after years of claiming he would respect the Justice Department’s rulings.
The Democratic president late Sunday pardoned Hunter, who was convicted of federal gun and tax evasion charges earlier this year, after repeatedly denying he would use his pardoning powers for his 54-year-old son.
“With 50 days left in his presidency, Joe Biden just set off a political timebomb before leaving for Africa today,

"Where is the victory? How much did it cost? What defeat is more terrible than such losses? How can one claim victory in the face of a massacre that has destroyed all the logic of resistance? It's not too late to ask Hezbollah to explain its unilateral and deadly decision to open the confrontation [with Israel] under Iran's cover." — Nabil Bou Monsef, prominent Lebanese journalist, kataeb.org, November 27, 2024.
Over the past 14 months, Hamas and Hezbollah have dragged the Palestinians and Lebanese into wars that have claimed the lives of thousands of people -- all to serve their patrons in Iran.

South Korea’s opposition parties Wednesday submitted a motion to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol over the shocking and short-lived martial law that drew heavily armed troops to encircle parliament before lawmakers climbed walls to reenter the building and unanimously voted to lift his order.
Impeaching Yoon would require the support of two-thirds of parliament and at least six justices of the nine-member Constitutional Court would have to support it to remove him from office. The motion, submitted jointly by the main opposition Democratic Party and five smaller opposition parties, could be put to a vote as early as Friday.

Democrat Adam Gray has won California's 13th Congressional District race, defeating incumbent Republican Rep. John Duarte, according to The Associated Press.
California's 13th Congressional District was the last seat to be called, with the district being one of the most competitive races in the Golden State. Republicans maintained the majority with 220, with Democrats trailing at 216.
Gray, a former state legislator who represented California's 21st Assembly District from 2012 to 2022, is considered a centrist Democrat who focused on key concerns for farmers in the Central Valley like water shortages.

Another day, another hit piece against Pete Hegseth.
The media has been attacking Pete Hegseth, President Trump’s nominee for Defense Secretary, with leaks about a years-old sexual assault allegation that was already investigated by police and proven to be false.
Now the media is attacking Pete Hegseth for his so-called drinking problem, citing anonymous sources.
NBC News, citing 10 current and former Fox News employees, reported that Pete Hegseth’s drinking worried his colleagues.

At a noisy holiday party, a friend pulled me aside for a quiet conversation. He’s long been a major Democratic donor in New York and nationally but has grown increasingly disenchanted with the party’s far-left policies.
“You were right about Trump,” he whispered, before delivering the bombshell: “And I voted for him.”
We shook hands and laughed.
The election resulted in numerous Dems switching sides, but my friend’s conversion stands out because it shows Trump cut into the top ranks of the party hierarchy. And the conversation came even before President Biden’s pardon proved another shock to Dem officials and their propaganda outlets.

A Massachusetts judge who was criminally charged during President-elect Donald Trump's first administration with impeding a federal immigration arrest of a defendant in her courtroom is now being accused by state judicial disciplinary authorities of engaging in willful misconduct.
The Massachusetts Judicial Conduct Commission on Monday filed formal charges against Judge Shelley Joseph related to the same conduct that was at issue in the criminal case, which prosecutors agreed to drop in 2022 after Trump left office in exchange for her referring herself to disciplinary authorities.

A federal judge has paused an attempt by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) to imprison Christian pro-life activists for up to ten years.
Judge Matthew Leitman, an Obama appointee, paused the DOJ’s FACE Act and felony conspiracy case against seven pro-life activists who are awaiting sentencing over a peaceful protest at a Michigan abortion clinic, citing the results of the 2024 election and the potential for the next presidential administration to handle such cases differently.
“As further discussed on the record, the Court will conduct another status conference during the week of March 24, 2025,

Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) expressed full support for Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth after meeting with him Monday amid an onslaught of hit pieces from the establishment media.
“Are soldiers sometimes wild childs? Yeah, that can happen, but it is very clear that this guy is the guy who, at a time when Americans were losing confidence in their own military, in our ability to project strength around the world, Pete Hegseth is the answer to that concern,” she told reporters on Tuesday, according to Politico.
Her support comes at a critical time, as Hegseth comes under attack from anonymous sources

A judge ordered Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to release all communications with Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee.
Earlier this year conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch asked the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, for a default judgement against Fani Willis refusing to answer its open records request.
“Defendant has not filed an answer and no answer has been served upon [Judicial Watch].… Defendant’s answer was due 30 days after service, or on April 10, 2024. Pursuant to [Georgia law] the case automatically became in default when an answer was not filed by the due date.

Rachel Maddow lookalike and outspoken billionaire Trump Hater, Mark Cuban, and far-left NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley have seemingly thrown their hats in the ring for the Democratic ticket for the White House in 2028.
Cuban is so far-left and disliked by Trump supporters that he’s been hit with an endless supply of memes comparing his looks and personality to far-left MSNBC crank Rachel Maddow.
Enjoy this one: [Tweet]
In an appearance last week on “The Steam Room” podcast with Ernie Johnson and Barkley, Cuban gave his reaction to the 2024 election results, comparing it to the “horrible feeling” of losing a basketball game,

The dishonest media, who hid the obvious mental decline of Biden for years, now act shocked that Biden pardoned his son. They act as if it is rare for a congenital liar like Biden to lie. Here, CNN says that this pardon will tarnish his legacy, as if his legacy had been great except for this pardon. It was clear to anyone with a brain that Biden was always going to pardon his son. No matter how many crimes Hunter committed, Joe always said he was the smartest man in the world and never did anything wrong.

Joe Biden promised, emphatically, at least six times--all pre-election--that he would not pardon his son Hunter Biden. [Snip] After November 5, whether Joe or Harris won or lost the 2024 election, he was always going to pardon Hunter, who was always also a relapse away from bringing them all down. [Snip] The schemes to hide Joe Biden’s long-standing dementia,...the lies to protect the Biden crime syndicate, and the final pardon will cement Joe Biden’s reputation not just as the most incompetent but also as the most corrupt and dishonest president in U.S. history.
