BALTIMORE -- One student is hospitalized and another is in police custody after a shooting Friday inside Joppatowne High School. According to Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler, a 16-year-old student allegedly shot a 15-year-old during a fight inside a men's bathroom just after 12:30 p.m. That victim was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital, where he is in serious condition. The alleged teenage gunman ran from the school, but was captured a short time later. "Our hearts are breaking for the victim and the victim's family," said Harford County Schools Superintendent Dr. Sean Bulson. "This should not be happening in schools." Former President Donald Trump received an impassioned endorsement from Grammy Award-winning country music star Gretchen Wilson during a rally in Wisconsin on Saturday, with the singer excoriating the Democratic party for abandoning the American people.
Gretchen Wilson appeared alongside Trump during his rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin. Before she performed, she spoke about her humble upbringing in Illinois and her family, which supported Democrats.
“Back in the day my family were all Kennedy Democrats. But that’s when the Democrats were on the side of the people,” she said. “Once I started paying attention to what was really going on, I realized the Democratic Party left us.”
A manhunt is underway for at least one suspect after several people were shot Saturday near an interstate in a rural area of Laurel County, Kentucky, located south of Lexington, according to the sheriff’s office.
The active shooter situation occurred near Interstate 75, about nine miles north of the city of London, where “numerous persons have been shot,” said the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington said via social media the suspect “has not been caught at this time. We are urging people to stay inside.” Law enforcement will provide “as much information as it becomes available,” he added.
The New York Joint Terrorism Task Force of the FBI, working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), apprehended terror suspect Mohammed Khan for planning a terror attack in Brooklyn, New York City. FBI's undercover investigators communicated with Khan via encrypted message apps and learned that he planned a mass shooting at an undisclosed Jewish center in Brooklyn.
Khan planned the attack to take place on or near October 7, the anniversary of Hamas' brutal attack on mostly unarmed Israeli civilians, which resulted in an unknown number of rapes, roughly 1,200 deaths, and many hostages. Khan, 20, was arrested near Ormstown, Quebec, approximately 12 miles from the Canadian-American border.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that people should judge for themselves if Russian President Vladimir Putin was teasing, trolling, or being entirely serious when he said he would prefer Kamala Harris as U.S. president over Donald Trump.

An Alabama man entered a Florida hospital for a procedure to remove his spleen. On Aug. 21, medical records provided to USA Today by Zarzaur Law show that "Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky performed a hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy procedure on William “Bill” Bryan, 70, from Muscle Shoals, Alabama."
Bryan's widow claims that Shaknovsky mistakenly removed his liver instead of his spleen.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley on Friday said that Judge Juan Merchan’s decision to delay former President Donald Trump’s sentencing could be an effort to avoid boosting his campaign.
Merchan had scheduled Trump’s sentencing for Sept. 18, but on Friday, he postponed the date to Nov. 26 “if necessary,” according to his order. Turley, on “America Reports,” claimed that Merchan’s rulings against Trump during his case were advantageous to his reelection bid, suggesting that maintaining the September sentencing date would have further intensified support for the former president.
