Harris camp hires activist reverend who
claims Christianity has been 'hijacked'
by White supremacy

The Harris-Walz campaign has hired liberal activist the Rev. Jennifer Butler to be its new head of faith outreach, with Butler confirming the appointment on social media and in an interview with Religion News Service. Butler is a longtime liberal activist who argued in 2022 that White supremacists have "hijacked" the Christian faith, and has said that faith calls us to "resist." She is the founder of the nonprofit Faith in Public Life, which claims to advance the "moral imperative for a just, inclusive and equitable country." She now runs a campaign seeking to root out White nationalism within the Christian faith.

Comments:

The left always projects its worst qualities onto the right. The problem with Christianity is not that it's been hijacked by some mythical white supremacist movement, but that it's been infiltrated by woke ideologues, particularly within the 'mainstream' creeds, where a perverted message of "social justice" is preached in place of the Bible.

Exactly, OP, and ignorance of the scriptures. All any true Christian has to do is follow the example of the Bereans in Acts 17:11 - “ “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” Too many people believe too much that isn’t so.

Amazing how leftists scream about the separation of church and state when Biblical Christianity is the subject but fully embrace apostate and false Christianity and want it to be a part of the political and process.

The FBI’s “alarming” use of general warrants to scoop up the private location data of the devices of thousands of people on Jan. 6, 2021, was a violation of the Fourth Amendment that enabled an illegal four-acre dragnet to generate criminal charges without probable cause, defense attorneys argue in federal court filings. In the wake of the protests and violence at the U.S. Capitol, the FBI served search warrants on technology giant Google Inc. and telecommunication companies, including AT&T.

There was a major problem with the 2020 Census, and most people probably haven’t heard about it, even though it has enormous implications. At the end of May, the Census Bureau admitted that it miscounted 14 states in the 2020 Census. Why didn’t the media make a big stink about this story? Maybe it was overshadowed by the recent mass shootings, that’s certainly a possibility, but I have another theory. Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it overcounted: Hawaii, Delaware, Rhode Island, Minnesota, New York, and Massachusetts. Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it undercounted: Texas, Illinois, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

They suppress anything that defies their narrative and they amplify anything that supports it.

Did you catch Kamala Harris's first "interview" as the Democratic Party nominee for president? It was pretty much everything you'd expect from an interview conducted by CNN. Lots of softball questions, lots of word salad responses. CNN anchor Dana Bash actually asked some decent questions, but what really struck me about the interview was that Kamala Harris, more often than not, avoided answering most of the questions, and Bash didn't seem to be concerned with getting an actual answer. You knew things were going to be bad when Harris really struggled to give a coherent answer to the cliché question about what she would do on "on day one."
