Actor Ben Stiller received a mixed reception online after he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, saying that her candidacy has brought "change" to the Democratic Party. "Just very excited about moving forward and all the energy and excitement that's around this movement right now," Stiller said in a video interview posted by journalist Nicholas A. Ballasy that has since gone viral online. "That's why I'm here, because it's time for change, and it seems like it's happening." Stiller and other Hollywood celebrities, including actor George Clooney, have endorsed Harris as President Biden's successor as the Democratic Party's nominee for president. Stiller has been in several good comedies such as, for instance, Tropic Thunder, but when he's not reciting words written by screenwriters, he shows his limitations. And as Clint Eastwood said in Magnum Force, a man's got to know his limitations. Who did Ben, shoulders firmly against his butt cheeks and head planted solidly in his descending colon, think was in charge these last three and a half years? Trump? It's time for a change, indeed. Lord have mercy.

Is Ben Stiller aware that the current President is a Democrat, Kamala is currently the Vice President, and that the Democrats are in charge of the Senate? So what is the "change" that he is talking about? Between 2009 and 2024, Democrats have held the Presidency for all but Trump's 4 years. The last 3 1/2 years have been Democrat controlled. Stiller is correct that we need change. We need to change back to Trump being President.

Another person who lives in a bubble isolated from the real world. He is immune to high food prices and high rent. Crime doesn't worry him, as he can afford private security. The only illegals he interacts with are the one cleaning his bathrooms and mowing his lawn. The only change Harris will cause is to move the country from bad to worse.

When people ask why we need so-called assault weapons, most of us default to point out that we don't have to illustrate a need to exercise our rights. That is completely true and I'm one of those who has said it time and time again. We don't, nor should we. If we're required to show a need, then it's not a right in the first place. That was the core issue at the heart of the Bruen case, really. The state demanded someone show a need and the Supreme Court said you can't do that. That extrapolates out to things like AR-15s. But from time to time, we also see a situation

But now, the Harris campaign wants to change the rules. "The Donald Trump and Kamala Harris campaigns traded barbs Monday over debate rules Monday,

Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels said that if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. Democrats and their media lapdogs know this very well and apply it assiduously. How ironic then that Democrats call Republicans 'Nazis' yet themselves follow the Goebbels Nazi propaganda playbook. One of many examples is the “very fine people” lie, a false assertion that President Trump called neo-Nazis such a thing, yet is a standard Democrat talking point and blatant nonsense. President Joe Biden, somewhat awake and alert long past his bedtime, told this whopper, along with many other falsehoods running across his teleprompter, at last week’s Democratic National Convention. Joe Biden is easily the worst human being to hold the office of President of the United States of America. The send-off his own party gave him, as ignominious as it was, was still not nearly as ignominious as he deserved. First, Biden was forced out of his reelection campaign, months after he'd "won" the nomination in a rigged primary, by a cabal of insiders including his old boss, Barack Obama. You know, the man who reminded fellow Democrats to "never underestimate Joe's ability to f*** things up." Then his farewell address — angry and disassociated — was bumped out of primetime by an assortment of has-been and never-will-be speakers.

Our government, and a number of other Western governments, are committed to a goal of “net zero.” That is, our countries will add nothing further to the level of CO2 in the atmosphere. Any emissions of CO2 (e.g., breathing) will be balanced by absorption of CO2 by, e.g., plants. Various dates are specified in these aspirational statements, none of them realistic. And of course, the world’s main sources of atmospheric CO2 (China and India now account for most of the world’s CO2 emissions) have no intention of cutting their CO2 emissions, let alone cutting them to net zero. But suppose we did it.

A new poll out of Pennsylvania is shedding some light on just how much of an own-goal that was. Before getting there, though, the topline is really good news for Donald Trump, showing him tied in the head-to-head and leading in the five-way matchup (which is more relevant). It appears Harris' momentum has been completely halted, with no perceivable bounce from the DNC. Bob Casey, the Democrat senator up for re-election in Pennsylvania, only being up two points is also a huge result for Republicans.
