Three weeks ago, Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe angrily pushed back on senators’ calls to immediately fire or discipline key agents directly responsible for the security failures that led to the assassination attempt against former President Trump at last month’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Since that time, Secret Service leaders have placed several members of the Pittsburgh Field Office on administrative leave, according to three sources in the Secret Service community.

Paid vacation is the reward for incompetence...or worse.

On the assassination attempt cover-up: where are the shooter's parents? What did they tell investigators about their son? There is nothing current out there that I can find and nobody seems interested in discovering why this is so. Logical inference: this information is being suppressed.

"...a complete “paradigm” overhaul at the agency .."
A cliched phrase used by people failing in their positions without any clue as to how to fix it.

Ronald Rowe is one of the Secret Service employees that should be on permanent unpaid leave.

I can't call that swift justice. That shooting happened a month ago--40 days to be exact.

About damn time, but they just need to be fired for incompentence, not put on leave..and I always thought North Dakota was the dumping ground for useless agents...

Maybe that nursing female SS agent will now have plenty of time to nurse.... if she's one who got paid vacation out of it.

The fact that this creature, Rowe is collecting a taxpayer pay check shows the agency doesn't give a crap about the highest professional standards.
FTA: Rowe argued that the near-assassination of Trump served as a wake-up call to the agency – “an opportunity to examine our own paradigm and examine our own methodologies, to challenge assumptions, to look at the new dynamic threat environment we’re operating in, look at the demand in which we’re placing on our people.”
Talk about word salads. Anyone that speaks likes this, has no idea how to manage anything. He needs to be FIRED, not relieved, not put on unpaid leave, none of that crap, FIRED out right, computer disbanded, security clearances totally removed and then his lying to Congress needs to be investigated. And jail for lying under oath to a Congressional committee. I suspect about 40 to 50 percent of the staff in that agency needs to go. Especially, the fat, out of shape, nursing females incapable of holstering their weapons. And yes I am a 73 year old female in great shape that could whoop the butts of anyone of those women. Get them out now. They are all embarrassments and security risks.

I have to admit there is very little out there about Crooks' parents. It's almost as if they were a cover story. Could they be agents managing a brainwashed child? When you consider the FBI's and CIA's past and it quickly becomes believable.
No testimonials about how wonderful their son was. Or, alternatively, how troubled he was. The ridiculous prevarcation about political parties... How quickly his body was released for cremation, without notifying the coroner....
Was this family a real family, or a deep operation?

In other words, he is on paid vacation. This is just done and announced widely to wait awhile.
When election is all the news, every day, they will ease him back. The federal government employee’s union is like the mafia.

Just placed on leave? I'd rather they have been placed on LEAVES, like undressed on a giant pile of poison oak.

The Pittsburgh folks should bear the brunt of the blame.
They earned it.
The US government is the only place I know where you can screw up big time and not get fired.
