Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday that he was suspending his campaign - with a twist.
Kennedy pushed supporters who live in 10 swing states to back Republican nominee Donald Trump, but said his name would remain on the ballots on traditional red or blue states.
'I would like everyone to know that I am not terminating my campaign, I am simply suspending it,' Kennedy said in Arizona on Friday. In long-winded remarks, Kennedy said he was withdrawing from the race in swing states because, 'I would likely hand the election over to the Democrats, with whom I disagree on the most existential issues.'

Did he say 'I quit' but 'vote for me anyway?' I'm confused.

He's wrong about a lot of things, but he's right on this. We need a coalition with sincere people of integrity on the Left to rid ourselves of these monsters currently running our government. Later we can work out honest policy differences between Left and Right as has always been the function of our Republic's government.

Election rules. If a person outright quits gets no funds and all debts are on them personally. By suspension they are officially in the race and can collect government funds for incurred debts.

Trump should reward him with naming him head of the CIA. He will get to the bottom of the JFK ad RFK assassinations!

Every bit helps. And he helps exposure the utter corruption of the Democrat party. His father was killed trying to secure enough delegates for the 1968 nomination. Kamel-La glides in owing no allegiance to anyone but the cabal running the party.

I heard a great portion of his remarks.
I have always considered him a bit of a nut, and only agreed with him on about 3% of issues.
But today, he was compelling. And sincere. His statistics re health and disease are impeccable….. and deeply concerning.
If he could help PDJT (Director of NIH, FDA commissioner? etc) he and PDJT both could make a legacy mark on the country.
I like him.

Doesn't agree with Trump on many policies but it came down to Constitutional principles, and his align more with Trump than the Communist Party.

I long for the days of Democrats and Republicans sparring over pro-American policy within our tradition of democratic republicanism. I long for the days of two parties who believe in America, not communism.

I think it was Sun Tsu who said, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."
I may not agree with RFK Jr. on a lot of things, but for now he's my friend.
Boy, this has been a crazy election cycle. I'm pretty sure none of us had "RFK Jr. Endorses Trump" on our bingo cards.

If you listen to his speech, it is apparent that he would become Sec of HHS, if Trump wins. Most of his speech was devoted to improving the health of Americans, as in Make America Healthy Again.

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Poster 12, I had the same thought when Kennedy announced the endorsement. Kennedy may be a nut, but his supporters are probably going to help President Trump.

#1 Bobby is staying on the ballot in blue and pure-red states. He is removing his name from the ballot in swing states for people to vote for PDT.
I listened to the beginning of his speech. He had interesting comments about how more children have cognitive issues from artificial food these days than in previous generations.
Bobby and PDT are both interrupters... and that is a good thing.

#5 Do you really think so? After this many years, I can't imagine anyone still in the see-aye-aaa would be spilling their guts about those things or even if anyone still there even knows anything about it. People involved probably are so old they don't know their name today.

I don't know what to make of this. Sure bringing jr under Trump's fold could bring in more votes. But it would also bring in a buttload of never-Trump voters who still have an axe to grind and they could again muddy the waters again under Trump's second administration.

It was a very good speech and full of passion and sincerity. There is no dispute that he loves his country more than self. But I can't get over this hang-up..... He genuinely loves children, cares for their well-being, and seeks God's blessings..... Yet he is pro-abortion.

The election is already going to be "upended" as Harris sinks in the polls and will require massive cheating and poll manipulation now to go anywhere. The humiliation of being insulted by Kennedy will be tough for the democrat party to live down.

I have been reading some of the things RFK Jr. has been saying and it is the media who has been creating the impression that he is a nut. No different than what the media says about Donald Trump. The media creates an illusion because they can. When Kai Trump spoke at the convention, she was speaking because she wanted people to know who her grandfather is. The media has been such a giant in persuasion that they now have a huge ego. Not only the media but the Democrat party too. Have any of you been reading some of the things that RFK Jr. is saying about what the Democrats have been putting his campaign through since he announced that he was running?

Democrats and their party torched by a high profile Democrat. The MSM couldn't ignore it and had to say something about his reasoning. Tomorrow or the next day they'll move on, but the damage has been done.
The people in his corner are not low-information voters and not fans of either DJT or the Dem Party's hard left tilt. I can't see many of them voting for the people who trashed their guy. Meanwhile Trump treated RFK with respect.
Could be a game-changer.

I respect RFK Jr. which is 100% more than I can say for the Communist Duo of Harris-Walz. If I had to live under a Democrat in the WH, it would be better if it were RFK Jr. rather than ANYONE put forward by Obama, or Clinton. Joe and Jill Biden are but a footnote in history, thanks to Pelosi, Obama, and Schumer, or using the Federal gov't acronym system - "POS."
After all these years, Joseph Robinette Biden has now discovered how it feels to be "Borked" by none less than his own political party, the ones who invented it, along with himself. One of the most brilliant American jurists ever to wear the robe, Judge Robert Bork, did not deserve what he got at the hands of Joe Biden and the Senate Democrats' lynch mob. History will paint a portrait of Joe Biden as a corrupt, halfwit politician, too lazy and arrogant to ever be genuinely "good" at anything, except for being a womanizing, duplicitous, bully and horrific POTUS.

This is a very bad idea. A Kennedy a heartbeat from the presidency? Any political benefit from doing this will only last a news cycle, then Trump is stuck with a fox in the hen house. Some one ought to tell Trump, there's no such thing as friends in politics. RFKjr is a closet commie.

At least one Democrat realizes there is something wrong with our government.
Government policy reads like a Communist manifesto. Muslims scream death to America. Meanwhile Anarchists want no rules, defund the police, and no bail. Our policies are killing us. The government that makes those policies have allied itself with forces that want to destroy us.
It's both parties. The globalists in both parties think Commies and Muslims make great trading partners and make policies they want. Hope everyone knows that the Communist party is no longer fielding its own candidates and is promoting their candidates from inside the Democratic party. They work from inside our government now. Meanwhile the Commies use our institutions to brainwash people to see things their way.

Trump made a purely political move that may or may not pay off. Kennedy is a flaming liberal and so are his followers. I highly doubt that they’ll switch their votes to Trump. I’m not interested in him being anywhere near a Trump Administration. It’s not just him. It’s the people he will bring with him. It’s embarrassing that people who claim to be conservatives brought the house down cheering for him. He’s just job hunting and Trump wasn’t his first choice.

Based on the lack of coverage, both TV and print, you know this is NOT good for Democrats across the board.
Shows Trump has a likely coalition, can, does, reach across the aisle too.
Today's Democrats are nothing close to the Democrats from 20+ years ago as they are much further to the left now and purge anyone who doesn't concur with their version of society.
