Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made her entrance on the stage of the Democrat National Convention in Chicago to Sara Bareilles' song, "Brave," followed by a standing ovation and a ton of applause. Next to AOC's speech, this was the most energy exhibited at what has been a fairly lackluster Night 1 of the DNC.
Clinton noted the rise in energy.
Wow. There's a lot of energy in this room, just like there is across the country! Something, something is happening in America! You can feel it. Something we've worked for and dreamed of for a long time.
First, though, let's salute President Biden.

ABC News anchor Linsey Davis — who will moderate the first debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris — linked Trump to the KKK during an interview at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night.
Davis was speaking to Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer when she connected Trump to the KKK. She said to Whitmer:
As you know, former President Donald Trump is expected to go campaign in Howell, Michigan, tomorrow. Many people are aware that a month ago, in Howell, KKK protesters marched in the streets with the white robes on and suggested that they support Donald Trump.

Democrats always find creative ways to sink to new lows when it comes to rhetoric, and Democrat Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear went straight to the depths of Hell this morning to make a disturbing statement about Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) and his family.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Day One at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago was a total catastrophe with pro-Hamas protesters breaking through barriers, several speakers screaming like banshees, and Joe Biden melting down on stage as expected.
Beshear gave a speech on Monday evening piling on this disaster by celebrating abortion on demand.

Representatives of the jihadist terrorist organization Hamas condemned the terms of an alleged “bridging proposal” to move it towards a ceasefire with Israel on Monday.
Hamas representatives told various media outlets that the provisions U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that day were a “coup against” a previous Hamas-friendly proposal Israel rejected.
Blinken was in Israel on Monday to discuss what he called the “last opportunity” for an end to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) ongoing self-defense operations in Gaza, Hamas’s stronghold territory used to launch the unprecedented October 7 attack on the Israeli homeland. The Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday requested the U.S. Supreme Court “deny” Republicans’ bid to enforce an Arizona law requiring individuals to prove they’re U.S. citizens when registering and voting in elections.
Arguing on behalf of the administration, U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar requested that the nation’s highest court instead allow a lower court decision — one prohibiting the implementation of provisions of the statute in question — to remain in effect for the November election.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s (D) children were not conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), the Harris-Walz campaign confirmed this week. This comes after Walz claimed multiple times that he owes his two children to IVF. According to The New York Times, “many have assumed” that Walz and his wife, Gwen, relied on IVF to conceive. This includes several prominent news outlets that reported that the couple used IVF.
In April, the Tim Walz for Governor campaign office mailed out a fundraising letter in an envelope that said, “My wife and I used IVF to start a family,” the Times pointed out.

Joe Biden was, on some level, wrapping up his political career during his DNC speech on Monday night. He had expected to give the keynote address on Thursday. That was before the coup, when he was shoved aside and replaced by Kamala Harris as the nominee. So, you can imagine he's not a happy camper when it comes to that.
It was perhaps appropriate that the day was a mess with protesters breaching the security fence, attacking the police, and getting arrested. Then, Biden made weird comments about former President Donald Trump, claiming his "stability" was still a question. Um, Joe? It isn't Trump whose stability is in question

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, says their campaign is considering joining forces with Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump.
In an interview with Tom Bilyeu on his show, Impact Theory, Shanahan revealed that she trusts “the future” of the United States under the leadership of people such as Trump and his vice presidential pick, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).
When questioned about rumors that Kennedy was in talks with either Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign about a “potential endorsement” in exchange for a position in their cabinets, Shanahan said they were “definitely not in talks with Harris”

Establishment media outlets are signaling that Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’s honeymoon phase is over after the first day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) saw major issues with logistics and operations.
Several media figures from across the spectrum began publicly criticizing and even openly mocking Democrats for their mistakes at the DNC, particularly with regard to press operations and workspace but also with regard to the flow of convention programming that went far too long on Monday evening. The derailed convention programming, which was far behind schedule, led to President Joe Biden–the sitting president of the United States–being pushed

Joe Biden is easily the worst human being to hold the office of President of the United States of America. The send-off his own party gave him, as ignominious as it was, was still not nearly as ignominious as he deserved.
First, Biden was forced out of his reelection campaign, months after he'd "won" the nomination in a rigged primary, by a cabal of insiders including his old boss, Barack Obama. You know, the man who reminded fellow Democrats to "never underestimate Joe's ability to f*** things up." Then his farewell address — angry and disassociated — was bumped out of primetime by an assortment of has-been and never-will-be speakers.

Harley-Davidson’s European CEO has backed down on his vanity project to rebrand the company’s motorbikes as his vehicle for globalized “diversity.”
The retreat from forced “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI), is a third win for for Robby Starbuck, an X-amplified advocate for merit, productivity, and professionalism.
“Another win for our movement,” Starbuck tweeted Tuesday after the company announced it would roll back its mandatory diversity policies. “I couldn’t do this without all of you,” he added. Those imposed policies included top-level support for divisive employee identity groups,
