This is the most ‘fundamental question’
Congress wants answered during the Trump
shooting probe

There will be one key question lawmakers will seek to answer next week as they probe the near-assassination of former President Trump, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) told The Post. “The fundamental question is, why wasn’t that rooftop secure,” Jordan said. “That’s a fundamental question that needs to be answered.” Jordan who heads the House Judiciary Committee, said FBI Director Christopher Wray will be called on the carpet to testify before Congress next week about the attempted assassination on July 13 at a Trump rally in Butler, Pa.

Comments:

This is a tremendous opportunity for Jim Jordan. He has already booked 27 more TV interviews - - and there could be more coming. Congressman Jordan does great TV interviews.

We need to hear the radio communications between SS agents from about a half an hour before the shooting leading up to when shots were fired. What were the SS snipers saying?

Ask ALL the questions you want. You will NEVER get the truth. This was a PLAN, and it simply failed, possibly through Almighty intervention. Just look at that ephemeral stock shorting action on the Trump empire that shimmered away the moment he survived the attempt.

The current version of Secret Service has a LOT of substandard officers. And the best are assigned to Biden, and the worst, it would appear, are assigned to Trump. I don't think that is an accident. I think they WANT less competent security for Trump, they hate him.

I wonder how far down the deep state chain this goes. You have a known credible irianian threat against DJT. You have USSS agent pulled from POTUS DJT's detail at the very last minute and replaced with Deputy dog and Barney Fife. His original detail was sent to protect Presiden Jill and VP Harris. You have a 20 yo shooter who was spotted an hour before DJT came on stage. People pointed him out to the cops and nothing happened. He could fly a drone over the fairgrounds multiple tomes and that did not alert anyone. The kid had 3 encrypted cell phones tied to overseas servers. Who was helping this kid? The iranians, the CIA, FIB, USSS, helping the iranians. Sand, oh by the wagy, i heard Prez Jill was responsible for getting the clown running the USSS appointed, but i wonder could this all be a coincidence? Doubtful.

To "secure the roof" of the building, didn't require anyone up on it...just people far enough back from the wall to SEE the roof, the cops on the ground running around looking for the "Person of interest" were toooo close to the building walls to see the roof. Being INSIDE it was even dumber.

I'm hearing the SS snipers that were on the roof to the right of Trump had their sight lines obscured by trees. Checking Google Earth, I just don't see it. They must have had some view of that building and roof, because they shot the sniper.

I want Jordan to ask about things unaccounted for. For example, how did the SS know Crooks flew a drone to surveil the area and where was the drone found? How did Crooks manage to access the only roof with a direct line of sight to Trump. Did he use the 5' ladder that CNN reported he purchased @ Home Depot a few hours before the shooting? If not, what happened to the ladder? Unlike hiding the rifle several days before the attack, the SS says the ladder was purchased on the same morning so where did it go? And finally, the first images of the dead shooter on the roof included what appeared to be a very oversized water jug. Since then, the bottle has been cropped or edited out of all images I can find. What was that and what was it doing on the roof? And yes, that rooftop will remain very much like the grassy knoll until we are given complete information.

I heard an interview of a lady who attended the rally. She was sitting in the section where the fireman was hit and killed. She lived about 10 miles away. Cops knocked on her door and told her they found a white van not far from her house, loaded with explosives. Somewhere I saw a photo of something that looked like it could be something to use to set off the explosives, maybe it was on the roof from the shooter's pockets. I wonder if he planned to move the van to an area where there were many people and set off the explosives. His message said the first shooting was his premier one. So much information has flowed thru my old brain on this, but I think I read CNN was there and MSNBC was there. Don't think they usually attended rallies to report on them. Did they get a heads up from someone? Like the investment company maybe got a heads up when they shorted PDJT's stock? The camera that showed the bullet usually wasn't used but it was there that day. Someone on video who knows gunshot wounds said there should have been blood blowback 10-15 feet behind the shooter. After they moved him from the roof, not much where he had been laying. Too many questions.

Bangladesh soldiers patrolled the deserted streets of the capital, Dhaka, on Saturday during a curfew meant to quell deadly student-led protests against government job quotas that have killed at least 105 people this week. A suspension on internet and text message services has remained in place since Thursday, cutting off Bangladesh from the world as police cracked down on protests that have continued despite a ban on public gatherings. Overseas telephone calls mostly failed to connect, while the websites of Bangladesh-based media organizations did not update, and their social media handles remained inactive.

Monday’s Lester Holt interview with President Biden shows that Joe’s damage-control press tour just keeps on doing more damage — it went far worse than his heart-to-heart with George Stephanopoulos. For starters, Biden couldn’t even bring himself to fully apologize for saying Dems should put Donald Trump in a “bull’s-eye,” instead lamely insisting, “I didn’t say crosshairs.” Cold comfort (and bad taste) indeed, after Trump was nearly felled by an assassin’s bullet.

The fire and a series of explosions ripped through the factory run by primary battery manufacturer Aricell in Hwaseong, an industrial cluster southwest of the capital Seoul. The victims likely succumbed to extremely toxic gas within seconds of the blaze getting out of control, the officials said. President Biden made the historically rare decision Sunday to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, less than four months after being declared the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee and days after a dismal debate showing.
