Amid all of the available CCTV video and surveillance technology exploited by the justice department, their transparent unwillingness to identify the pipe bomber has always been a dog that did not bark. The Occam’s Razor explanation for why DC and federal law enforcement have been incurious, points to law enforcement actually planting the bombs. New CCTV video seems to show exactly that.

I’m just catching up on some events that I have missed. The first press conference by the U.S. Secret Service about the Trump assassination attempt was alarming. This is the first time the media had to question USSS since the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Fox News host Jesse Watters does a good job summarizing the event and encapsulating the largest takeaways from the briefing. *Why* do they want us to know/think this was an inside job? It seems like there has to be more to it than just lording it over us or simple distraction. I don’t understand where they are going with this.

The job application for the Harris campaign includes nine different options for pronouns, including 'xe/xem,' 'ze/hir,' 'ey/em,' 'fae/faer' and 'hu/hu.'

At a meeting in July, the board advanced a proposal that would require three separate poll workers to count ballots at voting precincts on election night to make sure they match the number of ballots recorded by voting machines. That proposal has been posted for public comment and the board is set to vote Monday whether to adopt it.
