Kamala Harris finally responds to claims

Vice President Kamala Harris had nothing but “praise” for her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, when questioned Thursday about his service in the National Guard. Harris, 59, was asked by a reporter to respond to criticism that Walz “deserted his own troops, deserted his own colleagues” when he opted to retire from the Minnesota National Guard in May 2005, as his battalion was preparing to deploy to the Iraq war zone. “Listen, I praise anyone who has presented themselves to serve our country,” Harris said. “And I think that we all should.”

Yet another unanswered question. She won't be able to get away with this much longer. If she doesn't agree to all three debates, she will be ridiculed by the media as a coward.

Maleficent loves abandonment. She abandoned Afghanistan. She abandoned the Border. Her running mate, Politburo Walz, abandoned his troops. The Abandonment Duo is a bigly abandonment team. They will abandon America given a chance.

The issue is that he exaggerated his role and that he did so to affect a position of knowledge and authority and sacrifice by which to deprive other citizens of their rights, specifically to self-defence, and in a context where he is amping up the danger we are all in.

As nearly as I can tell Walz has spent his entire life suckling at the teat of various taxpayer funded entities. Does he have ANY experience in the private sector?

To get the truth about Waltz and the Minnesota National Guard, you have to get the opinions of the high ranking non-commissioned officers (NCOs) who served with Waltz before and during the Iraq War. Once that war commenced on the ground, everyone in the military knew that it was just a matter of time that in accordance with the total force concept that National Guard units would be deployed to Iraq to supplement regular army units there. Asking Harris about all that is just a waste of time, as if she answers at all she will give you a highly partisan political response.

I would praise Walz for his time in serving the military, noting that he demonstrated a lack of character in not completing two assignments. I will not praise Walz for deciding to serve himself by retiring as he did

“Listen, I praise anyone who has presented themselves to serve our country,” The problem is that Watz didn't really serve our country. He got all the benefits associated with being in the military but when it came time to do the job he signed up for he was a no show.

The issue not addressed by all of the reports is: before the improvements in US defense capability are completed, will the US be able to successfully avoid conflicts with the new axis of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea?

Back in March, the Biden administration claimed that it was persuading the Palestinian Authority (PA), led by Mahmoud Abbas, to change its murder-for-hire "pay for slay" policy. Terrorists who have been imprisoned in Israel for their crimes, as well as families of deceased or wounded terrorists, receive monthly stipends as a reward for murdering Jews. The longer the prison sentence, the higher the monthly stipend. Talk about incentivizing and encouraging terrorism. Not only has the PA not begun to change the "pay for slay" system, it is adding tens of thousands of terrorist prisoners and "martyrs" to be funded by the scheme.

In an Aug. 1 decision over redistricting of county commission seats in Galveston, Texas, the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued a decision that stops the political misuse of the Voting Rights Act by Democrats and their allies to create voting districts loyal to the Democratic Party instead of protecting the voting rights of minorities. This decision may also affect the political makeup of Congress and state legislatures in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas—the states within the jurisdiction of the 5th Circuit—moving dozens of seats from Democrat to Republican.

I’m just catching up on some events that I have missed. The first press conference by the U.S. Secret Service about the Trump assassination attempt was alarming. This is the first time the media had to question USSS since the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania. Fox News host Jesse Watters does a good job summarizing the event and encapsulating the largest takeaways from the briefing. *Why* do they want us to know/think this was an inside job? It seems like there has to be more to it than just lording it over us or simple distraction. I don’t understand where they are going with this.

[T]he Biden-Harris administration and those who continue to talk about the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.... must be reminded that Haniyeh, who is being praised by Abbas and the PA as a "great leader," belongs to a group that has long been waging a Jihad (holy war) to murder Jews and destroy Israel – and that does not have the slightest intention of being "revitalized."

What a mess has this created, along with peak entertainment value, but is it good? Despite the humor that’s deeply embedded in them, I still feel that deep personal attacks on Kamala Harris do nothing but animate the liberal base. There’s enough to rip apart Kamala on her record and accompanying video. With the race tightening up, the Trump camp needs to focus. Donald Trump caused a stir at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago when he said he doesn’t know what ethnicity Kamala Harris is, noting that she portrayed herself as Indian but “became black” when her national profile was heightened.

Of all the lessons Kamala Harris’s campaign will have learned from Hillary Clinton’s botched run for president eight years ago, among the most important is that it’s better to talk about jobs than guns in the three rust belt states that hold the key to the White House. The peculiarities of the US’s electoral college will almost certainly see November’s presidential election decided by voters in just seven states. Four – Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia – lie in the southern sun belt. But it is the three to the north – the rust belt states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – that Democratic strategists are focused on.

Walz has suggested on multiple occasions that he carried weapons into war — including in a video shared by the Harris campaign — despite having never served in a combat. “We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Walz said in a 2018 video advocating gun control. That clip was shared Tuesday by the Harris campaign.

I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black.” Cue media exploding in ritualistic rage at Trump for his “racist attack.”(snip) In fact, it actually is important that Harris is not a foundational black American (FBA), but rather, the child of immigrants. I know we don’t talk about it nearly enough, but remember slavery?

And now she’s picked a radical Minnesota governor with a disastrous record to round out her ticket.
