Vice President Kamala Harris had nothing but “praise” for her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, when questioned Thursday about his service in the National Guard.
Harris, 59, was asked by a reporter to respond to criticism that Walz “deserted his own troops, deserted his own colleagues” when he opted to retire from the Minnesota National Guard in May 2005, as his battalion was preparing to deploy to the Iraq war zone.
“Listen, I praise anyone who has presented themselves to serve our country,” Harris said. “And I think that we all should.”

When reviewing the conversation, I note a lot of this sentiment…
KT Says – “Trump staffing? He hasn’t even won. Harris polls are rising as long as she’s kept on teleprompter (like Biden in the basement) is working. The assassination attempt on Trumps life is already waning and will be forgotten by election date. Wisconsin’s road map to steal ballots in counties will work unless”….
Second similar:
MimiNP56 says – ...”As informative and fun as these posts have been, we cannot be distracted by them. Trump has not been elected, yet. We need a gameplan to get him elected.

All four reports called for major new investments in US defense spending, completion of the current nuclear deterrent modernization effort, and also recommended, given the projected rise of military power by America's enemies, that the US add serious new nuclear capabilities to its deterrence.
The issue not addressed by all of the reports is: before the improvements in US defense capability are completed, will the US be able to successfully avoid conflicts with the new axis of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea?

Back in March, the Biden administration claimed that it was persuading the Palestinian Authority (PA), led by Mahmoud Abbas, to change its murder-for-hire "pay for slay" policy. Terrorists who have been imprisoned in Israel for their crimes, as well as families of deceased or wounded terrorists, receive monthly stipends as a reward for murdering Jews. The longer the prison sentence, the higher the monthly stipend. Talk about incentivizing and encouraging terrorism.
Not only has the PA not begun to change the "pay for slay" system, it is adding tens of thousands of terrorist prisoners and "martyrs" to be funded by the scheme.

In an Aug. 1 decision over redistricting of county commission seats in Galveston, Texas, the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued a decision that stops the political misuse of the Voting Rights Act by Democrats and their allies to create voting districts loyal to the Democratic Party instead of protecting the voting rights of minorities. This decision may also affect the political makeup of Congress and state legislatures in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas—the states within the jurisdiction of the 5th Circuit—moving dozens of seats from Democrat to Republican.

ABC Washington correspondent and host of "This Week," George Stephanopoulos went down in a spectacular blaze when he tried to badger Trump surrogate and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds into denying the truth and accepting media gaslighting. The main subject on Stephanopoulous's agenda at a time when the world is teetering on the brink of a handful of major regional wars, financial collapse, the Western world is facing cultural devastation, and the calculated destruction of the norms that have unified the United States for over 200 years by Joe Biden and his lackeys was whether Donalds, who is black, considered Harris to be black.

I’m just catching up on some events that I have missed. The first press conference by the U.S. Secret Service about the Trump assassination attempt was alarming. This is the first time the media had to question USSS since the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Fox News host Jesse Watters does a good job summarizing the event and encapsulating the largest takeaways from the briefing. *Why* do they want us to know/think this was an inside job? It seems like there has to be more to it than just lording it over us or simple distraction. I don’t understand where they are going with this.

By hailing Haniyeh as a "great leader," Abbas and his Palestinian Authority cohorts are sending a message to all Palestinians that the murderous Hamas leader is their role model.
[T]he Biden-Harris administration and those who continue to talk about the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.... must be reminded that Haniyeh, who is being praised by Abbas and the PA as a "great leader," belongs to a group that has long been waging a Jihad (holy war) to murder Jews and destroy Israel – and that does not have the slightest intention of being "revitalized."

Today on Sunday Morning Futures, President Trump sat down for an economic discussion with Maria Bartiromo.
President Trump focuses correctly on inflation and the root cause, The Green New Deal. Joe Biden’s energy policy was the biggest trigger on consumer price increases. The energy policy fueled inflation caused by monetary policy. President Trump correctly notes the first step in dealing with the inflation dynamic is to lower the energy prices.

Japan’s benchmark stock index plunged 12.4% on Monday, compounding a global market rout set off by investor concerns that the the U.S. economy could be headed for recession.
A report Friday showing hiring by U.S. employers slowed last month by much more than expected has convulsed financial markets, vanquishing the euphoria that had taken the Nikkei 225 to all-times highs of over 42,000 in recent weeks.
The shakeup began just a couple of days after U.S. stock indexes had jumped to their best day in months after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell set the stage for possible rate cuts to begin in September.

What a mess has this created, along with peak entertainment value, but is it good? Despite the humor that’s deeply embedded in them, I still feel that deep personal attacks on Kamala Harris do nothing but animate the liberal base. There’s enough to rip apart Kamala on her record and accompanying video. With the race tightening up, the Trump camp needs to focus. Donald Trump caused a stir at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Chicago when he said he doesn’t know what ethnicity Kamala Harris is, noting that she portrayed herself as Indian but “became black” when her national profile was heightened.

Of all the lessons Kamala Harris’s campaign will have learned from Hillary Clinton’s botched run for president eight years ago, among the most important is that it’s better to talk about jobs than guns in the three rust belt states that hold the key to the White House.
The peculiarities of the US’s electoral college will almost certainly see November’s presidential election decided by voters in just seven states. Four – Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia – lie in the southern sun belt.
But it is the three to the north – the rust belt states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – that Democratic strategists are focused on.
