In a stunning display of hypocrisy and double standards, CBS News attacked former President Donald Trump when he announced his “no tax on tips” policy proposal in June and then suddenly became uncritical of the idea when Vice President Kamala Harris copied Trump on Saturday. “Vice President Kamala Harris is rolling out a new policy position, saying she’ll fight to end taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers,” CBS announced in a Monday X post. However, when Trump first announced the policy proposal in June, CBS adopted a strikingly different tone. “Former President Donald Trump’s vow to stop taxing tips would cost the federal government up to $250 billion

Trump ought to run a side by side ad showing how he pitched this and the blowback and how Harris stole it and everyone loves it.

The difference between Trump’s proposal not to tax tips and Harris’s subsequent “copy cat” proposal not to tax tips, is that Trump once elected would follow through with Congress to exempt tips from federal income tax, and Harris will not follow through on her bogus proposal. That is clear since Harris has been supporting enhancing the Internal Revenue Service with over 80,000 new agents, some of who would no doubt be targeting workers who receive tips and investigate them to ensure that they are paying federal income and other taxes on their tips. Once you remember that historically Republicans lower taxes, and that Democrats raise up taxes as your baseline, you will completely understand the current politics of this issue.

Constant Bull Schiff is one of the most dependable propaganda sources in the media. Still no interviews allowed with Cackling Cammie who intends to silently slink her way into the White House, Dougie in tow. The fact that this dimwitted foreign import is still out there as a candidate speaks very lowly of the dwindling intelligence of half of the American people.

What do you expect from CBS and others, honest reporting? LOL. Are they even the same proposals? I hear Harris would just make the business pay the tax. Listen to what she said, "end taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers”, she's not saying "no tax on tips".

A New Poll Shows That Kamala’s Honeymoon

If you're watching the polls, you've likely seen that Kamala Harris has been ahead in nearly all of them for the past week or so. We expected Kamala to have a "honeymoon period" upon becoming the presumptive nominee for her party, so in many ways, it wasn't exactly a surprise to see that polls tightened. However, if you're on Team Kamala, you were probably hoping for a larger lead in the polls than the 1.1-point advantage she currently has in the RealClearPolitics average. A new poll conducted by J.L. Partners for DailyMail.com suggests that the honeymoon is ending. According to the poll, which surveyed 1,001 likely voters, Trump still

LONDON — The World Health Organization declared the mpox outbreaks in Congo and elsewhere in Africa a global emergency on Wednesday, with cases confirmed among children and adults in more than a dozen countries and a new form of the virus spreading. Few vaccine doses are available on the continent. Earlier this week, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the mpox outbreaks were a public health emergency, with more than 500 deaths, and called for international help to stop the virus’ spread. “This is something that should concern us all ... The potential for further spread within Africa and beyond is very worrying,”

A Los Angeles federal district court ordered the University of California, Los Angeles, to stop allowing and assisting in self-described pro-Palestinian activists’ creation of what amount to Jew-free zones on campus, holding that the university may not offer classes if Jewish students are prohibited from participating in the programming. Those who occupied encampments on the university’s property disallowed Jews from passing through the quad unless they would disavow Israel and, by extension, their Jewish faith. UCLA’s position had been that the encampments preventing Jewish students from accessing certain areas of campus were not its responsibility. Despite that contention, the university erected metal barriers

The Harris campaign runs misleading Google ads that look like news articles published by the establishment media, an Axios analysis found Tuesday. The Harris campaign edits the ads that “make it appear as if the Guardian, Reuters, CBS News and other major publishers are on her side,” Axios reported. “It’s a common practice in the commercial advertising world that doesn’t violate Google’s policies, but the ads mimic real news results from Search closely enough that they have news outlets caught off guard.” “According to Google’s ad transparency center,

What's the betting line on this challenge? 100:1 against? Those odds would likely still be too low. During his conversation with Donald Trump, Elon Musk took a shot at the media coverage of Kamala Harris as "propaganda" designed to cover up her radical politics. He also ended up endorsing Trump, as I noted earlier. However, he also offered Harris equal access to the same vast community of voters ... if she has the courage to take it. Just how seriously does Harris take 'equity'? Newsweek apparently tried to get a comment from Team Kamala, but has yet to receive one.

Kamala Harris's honeymoon bounce in the polls has Democrats excited for the first time in a long time in this election. Even with that surge of enthusiasm, she's still only managing to take a small lead within the margin of error in the RealClearPolitics average. Nevertheless, her position appears to be much stronger than Joe Biden's but, CNN's Harry Enten is warning them that Harris doesn't have the election in the bag — not by a long shot. To explain why, he looked at battleground state polling in the previous two election cycles to see how far off they were from the results.

LAS VEGAS — Some of the best hackers in the world gathered in Las Vegas over the weekend to try to break into voting machines that will be used in this year’s election — all with an eye to helping officials identify and fix vulnerabilities. The problem? Their findings will likely come too late to make any fixes before Nov. 5.
