Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, hired Iranian security agents to plant explosives in three separate rooms of a building where a Hamas leader was staying, The Telegraph has learned.
The original plan was to assassinate Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of the Palestinian terror group, in May when he attended the funeral of Ebrahim Raisi, Iran’s former president.

Whether true or not, there are a lot of high placed Iranians who are sleeping in hotels tonight while their houses are being taken apart looking for bombs. Nicely done either way, Israel.

Methinks this is a ploy to plant paranoia in the Upper levels of Iranian govt....likely leading to witch hunt purges and further "secondary" explosions they set off among themselves.

Even if they didnt and this is just misdirection, The group will be in disarray and probably will have a bloodletting People will be killed. My son asked me if he should work for the defense induxtry because they make weapons that kill people. Like this situation, I said, "Some people need killing"

Nice propaganda coup that probably doesn't mean much to those poor Israelis who've fled their kibbitzes in the north because of continued Hezbollah bombing and shelling.

Maybe, maybe not, but it's at least a great cover story, and will keep the Iranians chasing their tails for a while.

The only benefit to Israel releasing this information is, like other posters said, to create paranoia in the ranks. The more of each other they kill, the fewer Israel has to kill.

There was no sense in letting a good bomb go to waste. Fire off the other two.

The picture at the top of the article showing the rubble confirms that Ismail Haniyeh blowed up real good, as Big Jim McBob and Billy Sol Hurok might have said. Wouldn't you agree that's how to remodel a Hamas chieftain's safe house--a huge pile of busted concrete on top of a grease spot? Don't call the contractor. Call the bulldozer. It's so nice to hear that the remote control IEDs were planted by Iranians hired by Mossad, and that they were detonated by someone far from Iran. ROTFLMAO. Among terrorist savages, whom does one trust? Absolutely no one! Saboteurs will take the money. Yesterday we read that one of the sneaky petards was planted under Haniyeh's bed, which is where he was getting his beauty sleep when it went off. Utter obliteration is painless. Straight to Hades in a millisecord. No time to invite Jesus into his life. To paraphrase Chuck Schumer, the terrorist savage released the whirlwind and would pay the price ... he never knew what had hit him. The other two bombs were just "Clang clang, Maxwell's Silver Hammer made sure that he was dead" to make the rubble bounce, and to entertain the unidentified Iranian saboteurs, who were laughing bigly. Better than a Roman candle on July 4. The overwhelming majority of Iranians call themselves Persian and hate the Ayatollah and the mullahs. Had Obama given 2009's Green Revolution support, the Shiite hardliners might have been overthrown, but we all know whose side Obama (and Biden-Harris) is on. Don't we?

I expect Harris and Biden to strongly protest this act to Israel. Their love for Hamas and the evil government of Iran is on full display.

"Ali Younisi, Iran’s former intelligence minister, expressed concerns in a 2020 interview, saying: “All the officials of the Islamic Republic should be worried about their lives.”
“If the Zionist regime has not yet targeted the political authorities of the Islamic Republic, it is because it has not chosen to do so,” he said."

If the story is accurate, I suspect that the "iranian security agents" fled the country long since. Those who had anything to do with these guys are probably being waterboarded daily to determine their involvement. The hangings will be carried out soon. Those who were spared will be re-educated.

I've always wondered why the Israelis have not done this to a certain pseudo-Jewish family that worked with the NAZI's and is bent on destroying the world today.

Oh don't you just love the Mossad security teams...they are one step ahead of the Hamas terrorists...I told you...don't mess with the IDF or Mossad...they are tough and very...and I emphasize...smart....it's almost embarrassing to think they are dealing with obama/biden's stable of goons in the White House.....I would call it ...no contest.....

Here is a thought to consider. There are Iranians actually willing to help Israel because they take one look at their own leadership and realize they are going to get all of them killed. Iran is making statements they are willing to use nukes even if it means nuclear retaliation that means the deaths of millions. All in the name of Glory to Islam. Iranian 'leadership' is a death cult. There are plenty of Iranians that don't think that way.

So, let me get this straight:
1. Iran hires hundreds of proxy fighters under the banner of Hamas to kill 1,400 innocent civlian Israelies inside Israeli sovereign territory:
2. Israel retaliates by hiring proxy Iranian agents to plant a single bomb, to kill a single Hamas leader directly responsible for the Israeli deaths, but to do it inside Iranian sovereign territory:
3. Iran threatens to invade Israel for its retaliation.
It's almost like playing hide and seek with a two year old...Iran pulls its dress over its own head, and pretends no one sees it.
The mullahs running Iran deserve everything coming to them...the poor Iranian civilians, who had nothing whatever to do with Iran's proxy wars, not so much.
