The media are hopping mad about Republicans referring to Kamala Harris as a “DEI hire.”
(snip)”
Apparently, it’s racist to notice that DEI exists.
(snip)
The most easily fooled Republican, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, took all this to heart and lectured his fellow Republicans not to use the “DEI attack.” (“Totally stupid.”) His argument is: “Look, I disagree with DEI, but she is the vice president of the United States.(snip)
So was Dan Quayle. I don’t remember liberals stoically refusing to sneer about Quayle being a silver spoon, golf-loving WASP.
(snip)
as California’s attorney general, Harris was the one who deceived voters into passing propositions that unleashed a criminal hellscape

The selection of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as the running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris has led to intense debates over crime policy, war claims, gender identity policies and other issues.
Some attacks have, in my view, been inaccurate or overwrought. However, the greatest danger from this ticket is neither speculative nor sensational. A Harris-Walz administration would be a nightmare for free speech.
For over three years, the Biden-Harris administration has sustained an unrelenting attack on the freedom of speech, from supporting a massive censorship system (described by a federal court as an “Orwellian Ministry of Truth“) to funding blacklisting operations targeting groups and individuals with opposing views.

Noticing the outlet with the story is always the first step in identifying the motive behind it.
Together with the New York Times, Politico is the most favored outlet by the FBI, DOJ and domestic IC apparatus. snip)
(snip)Politico is told by Trump officials they are holding “foreign originated” “hacked documents” from a “senior official inside the Trump campaign.” This is the exact scenario that Politico and the aligned media railed against on behalf of Hillary Clinton in 2016. Now, however, the same Politico is running to the typeset to share what they previously said was illegal to report and share.
They’ve got nothing. But keep watching.

People should become familiar with the THIRD AMENDMENT to the United States Constitution. It is there for a very specific reason.
Amendment III – No ¹soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
¹I would argue the armed person protecting the president or vice-president meets the general guidelines for a soldier in peacetime.
The U.S. Secret Service, assigned to the detail of Vice-President Kamala Harris, broke into a private residence in order to avail themselves and their contingents to the bathroom facilities of an American citizen without permission.

This is the simple albeit massive question that even President Trump himself doesn’t spend time thinking about. Melania does.
♦ To stop him in 2016, the FBI and DOJ ran a comprehensive surveillance operation against his campaign. The same people manufactured a completely fabricated case of Trump colluding with Russia. Have you forgotten?
♦ To stop him in 2017, the DOJ and Congress ran a comprehensive Special Counsel operation against his presidency. The justification of the SC operation was to prove a completely fabricated case of Trump colluding with Russia.

Prior to his passing, Andrew Breitbart said that the mission of the Breitbart empire was to exemplify the free and fearless press that our Constitution protects–but which, increasingly, the mainstream media denies us. (snip)Andrew wanted to do what the mainstream media would not. First and foremost: Andrew pledged to vet President Barack H. Obama. (snip)We begin with a column Andrew wrote last week (snip)Barack Obama claims that he worried after 9/11 that his name, so similar to that of Osama bin Laden, might harm his political career.
But Obama was not always so worried about misspellings and radical resemblances. He may even have cultivated them as he cast himself as Chicago’s

In a discussion about Vice President Kamala Harris’ stunning surge in the polls last week, podcaster Joe Rogan stated the obvious: “She’s the least popular vice president of all time, and then in a moment in time, all of a sudden she’s our solution.”
Rogan is right. The vice president who has been a national joke for four years, tapped by President Joe Biden because he’d promised his base he would choose a woman of color, has suddenly become a serious contender in the presidential race. And now she’s picked a radical Minnesota governor with a disastrous record to round out her ticket.

Provisions in Arizona’s election rulebook restricting voters’ free speech are “unenforceable,” a state judge ruled on Monday.
Writing for the Maricopa County Superior Court, Judge Jennifer Ryan-Touhill determined that the 2023 Election Procedures Manual (EPM) issued by Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, a Democrat, contains guidance that infringes upon Arizonans’ First Amendment right to free speech.
“The EPM’s language has restricted what the Secretary finds acceptable regarding behavior, both speech and acts.

As part of their embarrassing smear campaign against Republicans worried about the integrity of America’s elections, legacy media have twisted themselves into pretzels trying to convince the country that foreign nationals interfering in the U.S. electoral system is a nonexistent problem.
So-called “journalists” and their Democrat political allies regularly claim concerns about noncitizens registering ahead of and voting in the 2024 election are baseless because it’s already illegal for foreigners to cast ballots in federal contests. Of course, these self-professed “experts” on “misinformation” conveniently decline to mention that there’s no enforcement mechanism to prevent this from happening; or that numerous Democrat-run cities have granted illegal aliens

Probably inadvertently and for all the wrong reasons, Donald Trump made an important point last week when he said of the Democrats’ most recent presidential nominee, Kamala Harris:
“She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago, when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black.”
Cue media exploding in ritualistic rage at Trump for his “racist attack.”(snip)
In fact, it actually is important that Harris is not a foundational black American (FBA), but rather, the child of immigrants. I know we don’t talk about it nearly enough, but remember slavery?

The riots in Britain have made one thing clear: The political classes do not know what poor people look like.
Keir Starmer has been like a broken record describing everyone on the streets as “a member” of “The Far Right,” with “The Far Right” meaning a shadowy, highly organized group with extraordinary powers of networking and coordination.
The Prime Minister and his media helpers persisted in this cry, like Doctor Who Daleks—Far Right! Far Right! Far Right!—and the impression began to take hold that either they were naive, or they had a plan to preserve this narrative no matter what, when what was happening seemed much messier.

Members of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), meeting behind closed doors, recently pulled “Draft Our Daughters” out of the legislative dustbin.
SASC Chairman Jack Reed, D-R.I., “sweetened” this year’s version with a trade-off deal purporting to exempt female draftees from being “compelled to join combat roles that were closed to women prior to December 3, 2015.”
The defense bill would automatically register all persons of draft age (18-26) who are subject to Selective Service law, extending government power into the lives of every young person in America while weakening military readiness.
