Barack Obama doesn’t endorse Kamala
Harris, says Dems will pick ‘outstanding nominee’

Former President Barack Obama didn’t endorse Kamala Harris — saying Democrats would pick an unnamed “outstanding nominee” in his first statement on President Biden stepping aside from the party’s ticket. “We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,” said Obama, 62. “But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.” Some Democrats fear that Harris, the 59-year-old vice president, could further diminish the party’s chances against former President Donald Trump, 78, in the Nov. 5 election.

#7,#9,18~ Rush Limbaugh cautioned voters about polling not being more serious until about four weeks before Election Day; that “the goal of mass-market pollsters is NOT to provide an accurate reflection of public opinion, it is to SHAPE public opinion” by tweaking selected criteria and questions “to produce a result that maximizes liberal engagement and depress conservatives.” That most nationally recognized polling companies “are joined at the hip with the leftist establishment and behave accordingly. ... The only possible exception to this is internal polls paid for by the campaigns themselves.” The closer it gets to Election Day, “that behavior changes.” To help define their reputation for accuracy, big polling companies will “actually begin to reflect the public’s actual position.” In short, “do not pay attention to polls prior to the immediate run-up to the election” because, choosing to do so, could “play into the left’s hands and use it as a reason for not wailing and gnashing of teeth” which is what they want. As emphasized, the “polls are just being used as another tool of voter suppression. The polls are an attempt to not reflect public opinion, but to shape it. Yours. They want to depress the heck out of you.”

Joe Biden’s decision on Sunday to bow out of the presidential race clears the path for the country to elect its first woman and first woman of color as president. Even though the electoral fundamentals for this year’s election have always favored the Democrats – despite what numerous misleading polls have been showing (and with most of the news media reacting purely off those polls) – Harris’s selection will largely shore up the weaknesses that were dragging down Biden’s poll numbers.

President Biden will be back at the White House on Tuesday for the first time since he announced he was abandoning his re-election campaign and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden is scheduled to leave his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — where he had been recovering from COVID-19 — in the afternoon and arrive at the Executive Mansion by 2:30 p.m., according to his schedule. The 81-year-old president was originally expected to leave the beach town, where he had been under quarantine, on Monday to hit the campaign trail, but he extended his stay after announcing that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race the day before.
