The two illegal Jordanian migrants who are charged with trying to breach Marine Corps Base Quantico in May posted thousands of dollars in bail and were allowed to leave federal custody, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention despite their immigration status — Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April and Dabous had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings, law enforcement sources told The Post.
They were arrested on May 3 for trespassing onto the military installation and handed over to ICE officers because of their immigration statuses.

President Biden told a gathering of nearly two dozen Democratic governors at the White House Wednesday night that he needs to get more sleep and work fewer hours — and even avoid events held after 8 p.m. — despite indications he can only handle the rigors of the job between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Biden’s acknowledgment was reported by the New York Times, citing two people who took part in the high-stakes meeting and others who were briefed on the comment.

Still no sticker shock, Janet?
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was spotted stocking up on groceries on Saturday — after dismissing a question about inflation and rising food prices earlier this week.
Yellen, 77, and her husband, economist George Akerlof, stopped by a Giant Food store in Washington, DC, after grabbing lunch at Japanese restaurant Raku.

Octogenarian President Biden has difficulty functioning outside a six-hour window of daylight, according to an alarming new report.
The 81-year-old commander in chief is prone to absent-minded gaffes and fatigue outside of the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or while traveling abroad, White House aides told Axios in a bizarre attempt to spin his disastrous debate performance.
During the 90-minute trainwreck of a presidential debate — which kicked off five hours after the president’s peak performance window, at 9 p.m. — Biden often appeared vacant or slack-jawed, and on several occasions froze mid-thought, misspoke, or struggled to form coherent sentences.

President Biden referred to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as the president of South Korea on Friday in his latest gaffe involving world leaders.
Biden, 81, was in the middle of attacking his 2024 opponent, former President Donald Trump, over his close relationship with the dictator when he made the blunder.
“We’ll never forget his love letters for the South Korean President Kim Jong Un or his admiration for Putin — what a great leader Putin is,” the president said during remarks at a campaign reception in Portola Valley, Calif.

Is this going to become a regular occurrence? If so, it’s chilling, but it’ll be documented as every home has a Ring cam system or a variation of it. If you don’t have one, it’s best to invest in one for home security purposes and recording potential run-ins with federal agents. A Texas woman, ‘Kam St. Martin,’ was visited by an FBI agent for a tweet pinned on her profile. She called out the justice system for letting her cousin’s alleged murderer out on probation. The visit was recorded, but the FBI also reportedly visited the victim’s family as well:

Outdoor outfitter The North Face is offering customers a 20% discount if they complete and pass a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) course.
The company launched the course, titled “Allyship in the Outdoors,” to teach customers about racial disparities in outdoor activities. It is roughly an hour long and is intended for people who work in the outdoor industry. Those who take the course from North America are ineligible for the discount, however.

A bill that would create a pathway for undocumented children to access state-funded health insurance was approved by the Virginia Senate along partisan lines Tuesday.
The bill, if approved by the Democratic-controlled House of Delegates and signed off on by Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin, would provide health care coverage for Virginia residents under age 19 who are not covered under a group health plan or health insurance coverage, and would, if not for their immigration status, be eligible for medical assistance services through the commonwealth's program of medical assistance services.
The Virginia chapter of CASA, a national immigrant advocacy group, championed the bill.

Sen. Jeremy McPike (D) and the Prince William County police chief are pushing legislation that would allow ‘Dreamers’ to become law enforcement officers in Virginia.
Current law allows only United States citizens to qualify for these positions, which include chief of police, police officer, deputy sheriff and jail officer.
“Dreamers,” the federal government’s designation for people who were approved under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, are those who arrived in the U.S. before the age of 16 and who have lived here since June 15, 2007. The designation does not include anyone who was older than 30 when the Department of Homeland Security enacted the policy in 2012.
