Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been handed a new court date in her election subversion case against former President Donald Trump. It was announced Tuesday that on December 5, a panel of three Republican-appointed Georgia appeals court judges would hear Trump's appeal seeking to disqualify Willis from the case due to her relationship with former prosecutor Nathan Wade. The change will pause the already delayed case until one month after this year's presidential election. If Trump wins the election, the case would almost certainly remain on hold until his next presidential term is over, if not be thrown out entirely. The appeal had previously been scheduled for October 4.
