Former RNC Chair Michael Steele floated a debunked conspiracy theory that a shard of glass injured former President Donald Trump’s ear during Saturday's assassination attempt rather than a bullet. Speaking on MSNBC, Steele said no medical reports have been released and questioned the extent the ear was injured. Despite left-leaning fact checkers such as Snopes giving a false rating to claims that glass from a teleprompter hit Trump’s ear, the commentator floated the theory anyway.

In the meantime, little kids in dirt road, mud hut villages in Uganda are recreating the event HEROICALLY!
Trump is now LEGEND! Globally (and that is why no one will ever remember your name- Achilles)

It doesn't matter to what "extent the ear was injured." It was a complete "either/or" event.
Trump was facing forward, the shooter was aiming at the right side of Trump's head. His right ear would have been center of mass for Trump's head.
The shooter took his shot. Trump turned his head right and probably leaned back-left just a little. The bullet arrives. Trump's right ear is no longer center of mass. Trump's ear is now, as it normally is, just an appendage on the side of Trump's head.
If Trump hadn't turned, it was a kill shot.
If Trump hadn't moved back-left a little, it was a kill shot.
The shooter should have achieved his goal - TWICE! Don't play poker with Trump.
And what glass? Even if the teleprompters were all still intact, from the footage, they were obviously on the left side of Trump's head at that point.
Oooo, I know! Trump had a piece of glass in his hand, and when the bullet whizzed by, it was his signal to clap it to his ear and cut himself. We could then say the shooter was firing blanks, except for the unfortunate collateral damage of one death and two in critical (but stable!) condition.
(I hope you people have enough sense to know when I'm being sarcastic.)

Maybe we can trade Biden's Hur report (or a cognitive test report) for Trump's assassination medical report.

Ironically, Hillary had the best response to BS that Steele is pedaling: "At this point, what difference does it make?"

MSNBC has become a serious threat to the well-being of our nation. They may also be a security threat as well.
They mainly exist to spread the thoughts and ambitions of COMCAST which owns large cable franchises as well as the left-wing channels that are the outlets for Comcast's garbage. This is exactly the concerns we expressed when COMCAST bought NBC. Our concerns were overruled by the government.

Then again. What point is Steele attempting to make? If the guy missed by a millimeter or a yard there was an addition attempt. . If it was the hardest graze by a bullet or a shard of glass it still did not change the fact that someone nearly killed Trump

I guess Steele hasn't realized the train is leaving the station and he's standing there with his pants around his ankles, looking like a big dummy (hat tip: Feed Sanford!).

I was always suspicious of Steele. And now we are 100% certain that he was just playing an assigned part.

Some years ago I donated to the RNC. That was when Michael Steele was running it.
The next year I learned that he was spending donors' money to take the big money boys to strip clubs (and, for all I know, buying them lap dances).
I never gave money to the RNC again. I've donated to individual candidates, but never to the party after that revelation.

I always regarded Steele as an ineffective token RNC figurehead, but was too polite to say so.
