Secret Service Director: 'I Will Not Resign'

ABC got an exclusive interview with U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, which you have to admit was a good "get." What wasn't good at all was her responses to the questions swirling around the Secret Service's inability to prevent an assassin from taking a series of shots at a former president and current presidential candidate from a bit more than a football field away. As is so often the case in the Biden Administration, no level of failure results in accountability. "The buck stops with me" is the equivalent of a grunt, not a statement of responsibility. Cheatle mouths the words but refuses to step down

We're talking about a failure of leadership that almost got the first, best hope for this nation's survival killed, lady! YOU are the picture definition of why we need to expel all diversity hires and return to a meritocracy!!

After the catastrophic failure of 7/13, resigning should not be her decision. It should be a given considering all the problems that were apparent to most of us. I cannot begin to imagine what professional security personnel think about the job the SS did that day. Some have been speaking out and apparently so many rookie mistakes were made that day. Ultimately, the buck stops with this woman and she definitely needs to go and take her DEI philosophy with her. It has no place in this profession. It isn’t meant be a merit based system. We must have the best of the best in such a critical position. She has to go for the safety of everyone the SS protects. It’s time we have accountability in government and I can’t see a better place to start than Kim Cheatle. Republicans must demand it. I do not trust President Trump’s safety with this woman at the head of this department. She has to go now.

#18, it is insulting to all of us women that the most visible among us, the ones most celebrated and prominent in government and culture, are often uniquely self-centered, untalented, stupid bores. The real brains, the real talent, the real heroes, the real leaders are the legions faceless, selfless women who spend their lives serving their families and communities. One of them today grieves the husband who died saving her and their child during Saturday’s shooting and another elegantly but quietly supports her husband in his bid to preside over and heal a battered and humiliated country.

We have entered the Twilight Zone. Under no circumstances would I have imagined that the Secret Service, of all organizations, could fail this badly. And by fail, I don't mean that somebody got through a security perimeter. Even the best organizations can't prevent every conceivable scenario. Stuff happens. No, I mean something much, much worse: the Secret Service failed to do even a minimally competent job. The Washington Post reports that the agency had been informed that local law enforcement did not have sufficient resources to secure the building from which the shooter took his murderous shots. Yet, nothing was done to ensure that the most obvious vantage point

At this point, we must ask the question: Has the global popcorn industry adequately prepared its supply chains for the next few weeks? Or will the avalanche of demand for passing the popcorn during the Democrat Party Meltdown Theater tip us over into hyper-inflation? Again? Joe Biden has steadfastly refused to withdraw from the Democrat presidential nomination, insisting that only he can defeat Donald Trump. The DNC had plans to rush the delegates into a confirming first-ballot vote based on primary results. Biden lined up the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) behind his nomination and had pandered relentlessly the last three weeks to rad-progressives to shore up his left flank.

The decision, which took effect this month, was communicated to thousands of employees via an email from a team leader, obtained by Business Insider. The email cites “changing business needs” as the reason for the team’s dissolution, reflecting a broader trend in the tech industry of scaling back DEI programs. The exact number of employees affected by this decision remains undisclosed.
