The COVID shot was put on trial in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and coming from California the result might surprise you. Three of four judges agree it was never a “traditional vaccine” and therefore could not legally be mandated.
The case was against the Los Angeles Unified School District (“LAUSD”) that “required employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination or lose their jobs.” While this case was making its way thru the courts, LAUSD was playing Hokey-Pokey with their policy on “vaccination” which didn’t play well in their litigation strategy, as it allowed the case to be kept alive rather than becoming moot.

The behavior of the current U.S. administration toward Iran, in continuation of the policies of the Obama administration, has been appeasement on a monumental scale.
That's evident in the financial tribute facilitated and released to Iran; the lack of effective action to circumscribe Iran’s expansion of its influence in the Middle East; the failure to counter effectively Iran’s terrorism against America and its friends in the region; the failure to curb Iran’s development of a nuclear arsenal; and the failure to arrest Iran’s development of short and long range missiles to deliver those weapons, not only against targets in the Middle East, but also against targets in Europe and America.

Suffice to say, all is not well for the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry these days. Despite ample subsidies from the federal government, EV sales are slumping.
Some of the largest automakers, such as Mercedes Benz, admit they won’t come close to hitting their EV sales estimates over the next few years. And Tesla, the king of EVs, just announced its lowest quarterly profit over the past two years. After the Tesla news broke, the company’s shares cratered, leading to a $138 billion decline in value.
Even worse, Hyundai Motor North America is facing a lawsuit that contends the auto manufacturer “has emphasized sales-volume growth

Semiautomatic weapons. Large-capacity magazines. Guns with scratched-off serial numbers. Ghost guns. Guns in bars and restaurants. Guns in the hands of people who have threatened to kill themselves or someone else. Which firearms are legal and who can have them all expanded in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision two years ago in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, which strengthened Second Amendment rights in America and launched hundreds of lawsuits challenging gun restrictions nationwide.
This summer, the Supreme Court said it had been misunderstood: Courts were taking too far Bruen’s guidance that gun laws must align with U.S. “history and tradition.”

Who needs U.S. citizenship, or for that matter, legal authorization to live in the U.S. when you've got Joe Biden's open borders?
That looks like the story with illegals receiving Social Security benefits, a lifetime benefit that until recently had been perceived as nominally reserved for U.S. citizens, not illegal border crossers, and which Democrats are now trying to debunk.
At the debate, NewsNation reported that Trump said:
“Social Security … he’s destroying it because millions of people are pouring into our country and they’re putting them onto Social Security,” Trump said. “They’re putting ‘em onto Medicare and Medicaid. Putting them into hospitals.

Actor Mike Heslin, best known for his role on Taylor Sheridan’s Special Ops: Lioness, has died after an “unexpected cardiac event.” He was 30.
The Independent reports Heslin was admitted to hospital for a week-long stay after the medical episode before he died on 2 July.
The death was announced by the actor’s partner, Nicolas James Wilson, who goes by the name of Scotty Dynamo on social media.
“Michael was young, in perfect health, and the doctors have no explanation for what happened,” Wilson wrote alongside images of himself and Heslin, including photographs from their wedding in November last year.

We now have a trend on the left: confusion. Leftists have fallen into an abyss. They are in the middle of full-throated chaos.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer group.
There has been this idea the left never makes mistakes, never falls into the whirlpools of self-destruction. Some on the right had begun to think of leftists as infallible. That’s one reason we are so feckless in countering their nonsense. They make themselves appear smarter and more powerful than they really are.
And here they are, caught. Their timing couldn’t be worse.

According to journalist Carl Bernstein, several people “very close” to President Biden have related that the president has had 15-to-20 episodes of cognitive decline — similar to what happened during the presidential debate the other evening — during the past year and a half. Bernstein told CNN that these Biden supporters said, “There have been numerous instances where the president has lost his train of thought, can’t pick it up again.” The New York Post editorialized that Democrats and their “media enablers” have attempted to hide Biden’s cognitive decline.

The main headline out of the UK is that the Conservative party was stunningly defeated. Not only was Prime Minister Sunak given the boot, but Labour swept the board. What also happened is that Reform UK, which is the MAGA party of the United Kingdom, won a large share of the popular vote (although that didn’t move the Parliamentary needle much). Still, I suspect that the UK is on the glide path to what we’ve already seen in Italy, France, and the Netherlands—namely, unhappy people of all races but shared values giving the boot to open borders and Islamism.

Nudity warning, but this video perfectly sums up the utter stupidity that’s apparently a shared trait between leftist women in the West:
They’ve got their bare boobs out, doing “housework” in a skirt and heels, looking cute enough with their makeup, all without the financial stability and safety net of a provider husband because…they’re mad about electoral results. Seriously, if you’re going to become a cliché male fantasy, at least get the serious benefits that a man brings to the table as a partner. Why give all that up for nothing in exchange?
If the relationship between men and women is all so gross and transactional, as leftist feminism routinely implies

The Supreme Court made it official: no more bureaucrats guessing what the law is. Justice Gorsuch & Roberts got it right:
“Chevron is overruled,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in his majority opinion. “Courts must exercise their independent judgment in deciding whether an agency has acted within its statutory authority.”
Justice Neil Gorsuch, the son of a former Environmental Protection Agency administrator, wrote separately to call Chevron Deference “a grave anomaly when viewed against the sweep of historic judicial practice.”
The 1984 decision, he said, “undermines core rule-of-law values ranging from the promise of fair notice to the promise of a fair hearing,”

How low Australia has fallen -- our once-great BHP now has a “Vice President for Climate,” the number of Australian students choosing physics at high school is collapsing, and our government opposes nuclear energy while pretending we can build and operate nuclear submarines.
Our Green politicians want: “No Coal, No Gas, No Nuclear” while Our ABC, Our CSIRO and Our Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) are telling us that wind and solar energy plus a bit of standby gas, heaps of batteries, and new power lines can power our homes, industries, and the mass electrification of our vehicle fleet. This sounds like Australia’s very own great leap backwards.

I'd call it GOOD NEWS for sanity and rationality.
