The news from the UK, which saw the Conservatives
wiped out

Original Article

Posted By: DVC, 7/5/2024 10:50:36 AM

The main headline out of the UK is that the Conservative party was stunningly defeated. Not only was Prime Minister Sunak given the boot, but Labour swept the board. What also happened is that Reform UK, which is the MAGA party of the United Kingdom, won a large share of the popular vote (although that didn’t move the Parliamentary needle much). Still, I suspect that the UK is on the glide path to what we’ve already seen in Italy, France, and the Netherlands—namely, unhappy people of all races but shared values giving the boot to open borders and Islamism.

Comments:

I will bet that the author's prediction will be right. They wanted change from leftist policies, especially unbridled immigration. And the conservatives LIED and kept doing the same policies that they had promised to reverse. So, the Conservatives got tossed out...and probably for not being actually conservative.

IMO, Britain is finished. Gone, at least for our lifetime. Did the voting public even realize what they were doing. If this is a blessing in disguise then, as Churchill once said, it is very effectively disguised. Labor Party is just a facade for Socialists, Marxists and nut case Left Wing Elites. With a formidable number of 411 to protect them they will go berserk. Destroy Britain with a methodical completeness that will make Soros and 0bama jealous.

The hidden truth is that Muslims have a mayor in many of England's largest cities. And who do you think voted for them? Muslim majorities. We got problems folks.

The populist movement here in the US won a large share of the vote (and actually won) in 2020, too. But the Democrats seized the actual offices of power and look what it has done to us. The only hope now for Britain with Labour in power is that the commies will be so insanely bad and woke that the British finally kick them out and reverse course, but that is probably a pipe dream.

I hope that the UK is still around four years from now so we have the opportunity to discuss their decision with them. They have a huge muslim problem and seem to adopt a feckless government no matter which way the vote swings. I'm guessing that somebody Named Mohammed will be in charge one day soon. The ex-pat Brits that I know are horrified at the condition of their former home.

Europe is finally realizing that the immigrants coming in are a big negative to their countries. you could easily see how bad it was over the years. And yet, the democrat party here thought, 'hey we should let them come here.' And now we see the disastrous effects. Quite stupid of the democrats.

Re #6, not at all stupid. The Globalists who actually run things know that the way to collapse the USA so that they can take full control is to overwhelm actual Americans with foreigners who will vote illegally and gleefully for more free handouts while raping, murdering, stealing and defrauding on an industrial scale. NOT stupid, a plan to create chaos so that they can take over.

I recognize Britain's problem. They don't have a party that cares about the citizens of Britain. Sound familiar?

The History of Democrats Hiding Presidential Disabilities 11 replies

According to journalist Carl Bernstein, several people “very close” to President Biden have related that the president has had 15-to-20 episodes of cognitive decline — similar to what happened during the presidential debate the other evening — during the past year and a half. Bernstein told CNN that these Biden supporters said, “There have been numerous instances where the president has lost his train of thought, can’t pick it up again.” The New York Post editorialized that Democrats and their “media enablers” have attempted to hide Biden’s cognitive decline.

Nudity warning, but this video perfectly sums up the utter stupidity that’s apparently a shared trait between leftist women in the West: They’ve got their bare boobs out, doing “housework” in a skirt and heels, looking cute enough with their makeup, all without the financial stability and safety net of a provider husband because…they’re mad about electoral results. Seriously, if you’re going to become a cliché male fantasy, at least get the serious benefits that a man brings to the table as a partner. Why give all that up for nothing in exchange? If the relationship between men and women is all so gross and transactional, as leftist feminism routinely implies

The Supreme Court made it official: no more bureaucrats guessing what the law is. Justice Gorsuch & Roberts got it right: “Chevron is overruled,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in his majority opinion. “Courts must exercise their independent judgment in deciding whether an agency has acted within its statutory authority.” Justice Neil Gorsuch, the son of a former Environmental Protection Agency administrator, wrote separately to call Chevron Deference “a grave anomaly when viewed against the sweep of historic judicial practice.” The 1984 decision, he said, “undermines core rule-of-law values ranging from the promise of fair notice to the promise of a fair hearing,”

How low Australia has fallen -- our once-great BHP now has a “Vice President for Climate,” the number of Australian students choosing physics at high school is collapsing, and our government opposes nuclear energy while pretending we can build and operate nuclear submarines. Our Green politicians want: “No Coal, No Gas, No Nuclear” while Our ABC, Our CSIRO and Our Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) are telling us that wind and solar energy plus a bit of standby gas, heaps of batteries, and new power lines can power our homes, industries, and the mass electrification of our vehicle fleet. This sounds like Australia’s very own great leap backwards.

For the first time in 30 years, Argentina experienced a zero-percent increase in the inflation rates of food and drinks during the third week of June, President Javier Milei confirmed on Monday morning. A study published on Sunday by Econométrica, a private Argentine consulting firm, first reported the no-inflation week. In its study, Econométrica analyzed 8,000 prices in local online supermarkets and found no change when compared to the preceding week — something that has not happened in Argentina in three decades. In addition to the lack of variation in prices in one week,

To preface, for the sake of clarity, I’m of course speaking in generalities and not definitives—overwhelming generalizations but generalizations nonetheless—and third world Muslim migrants, particularly the imports from Afghanistan, have no intention of assimilating and adopting the culture of the West; here’s the latest case illustrating exactly that, from Amy Mek’s new report at the RAIR Foundation: In a heartbreaking ‘honor killing’ in Worms, Germany, the police have arrested the Islamic parents of a 15-year-old Muslim girl after her body was found along the Rhine River.

True peace, one that sees people of good will living in harmony with each other despite differing attitudes on some issues, is a wonderful thing. I’d certainly like to see a world like that, although faith tells us it won’t happen without divine intervention. In the real world, there are bad actors, but some once-naïve peace activists—including one former Israeli hostage—are giving up on their Utopian dreams and finally facing reality. To understand the lunatic nature of leftist peace activists, let’s take a walk through the animal kingdom. Porcupines speak softly and carry big stickers (pun intended). Back in the last century (the 1990s), we “old-timers” in the armed forces wore uniforms of blue, green, khaki, or white slacks, skirts (for women only) and pressed shirts, complete with jackets and ties. Most of us worked side by side with civilian office workers, especially at the Pentagon. Some of us worked with equipment, or in labs, or in environments that required physical labor and had to get permission to wear utility or battle dress uniforms (BDUs) and boots. Camouflage often drew questioning looks, as if we were deliberately flouting the prescribed professional office attire.

When you think of President Joe Biden these days, who does he remind you of? You might invoke your impression of an elderly relative who is similarly struggling with cognitive issues. The less charitable among us might make a reference to Elmer Fudd or some other frequently befuddled character. But that's not the view that Democratic Congressman Don Beyer of Virginia holds. The astonishing theory was detailed in the liberal New York magazine. Its reporter Olivia Nuzzi revealed that even Democrat elites are stumped as to how and why the fast-declining 81 year-old is being allowed to continue his re-election bid. Nuzzi said she had heard questions being posed by high-ranking Democrats on the east and west coasts about whether Biden is a puppet whose strings are being pulled by another group of secretive Democrats.

Madison, Wis.— The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that officials can place ballot drop boxes around their communities in this fall’s elections, overturning its own ruling two years ago limiting their use in the presidential swing state. The court limited the use of drop boxes in July 2022, ruling then that they could be placed only in local election clerks’ offices and no one other than the voter could return a ballot in person. Conservatives controlled the court at that time, but Janet Protasiewicz’s election victory in April 2023 flipped the court to liberal control. Seeing an opening, Priorities USA, a progressive voter mobilization group, asked the court in February

This interview happened before the Stephanopoulos interview (which went terribly) and Sabato conceded that one good interview is not going to save Biden or his campaign. The reason these comments should really disturb Democrats is because if there was any kind of silver lining to include here, any single ray of sunshine, Sabato would have pointed it out, but there is no good news for Democrats.
