Four migrants from Venezuela appeared in court Tuesday after being arrested and charged with choking and robbing a man at knifepoint on a Chicago mass transit Pink Line train in February.
The four accused were identified as Carlos Carreno-Carreno, 20, Wilker Gutierrez-Sierra, 21, Fernando Loyo-Rodriguez, 22, and Yonnier Guasamucare-Garcia, 18, all Venezuelan nationals living in Chicago’s shelter system.
The four Venezuelans were arrested after a Feb. 17 attack on a 49-year-old man from the suburban town of Cicero.
Along with their court date, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) released video of the attack for the first time in the case.

A San Antonio, Texas, homeowner armed with a shotgun killed an alleged intruder who reportedly lunged at him just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday.
CBS Austin reported that the alleged intruder came to the front door seeking entry to the home, and the homeowner told him to leave. The alleged intruder then reportedly sought entrance again, and was again told to leave. Thereafter, the homeowner “heard noises in the backyard and upon investigation, encountered the same man.”
The homeowner then grabbed his shotgun and was standing with his wife when the intruder allegedly lunged at him. The homeowner fired one round, fatally wounding the alleged intruder.

Right now the Democrats are in a panic about Joe Biden and whether they should make him step aside. Unfortunately, whatever they do, he's still occupying the office and that's a dangerous thing. Democrats are responsible for putting us all in this situation, along with the media that refused to be honest about Biden's condition.
One of the reasons they are freaking out so much is how brutal the internal polling is. The post-debate public polls have been bad, but this is even worse, with him sliding not only in every battleground state but states that aren't even supposed to be battlegrounds now going toward former President Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has understandably been unrelenting in his criticism of Joe Biden over the years, in part because he's a political rival and also because he appears to genuinely not like Biden.
I mean, who could blame him?
That criticism increased tenfold, of course, as the lawfare tactics escalated, with Trump using every tool at his disposal, most notably his social media platform Truth Social, to hammer home the message about how in his view the Biden family, but Joe most notably, was crooked and corrupt.

On Tuesday, Joe Biden tried to convince donors to stick with him despite the backlash over his dismal debate performance. But the excuse he gave them was incredible and just more evidence of how unfit he is for the office he's currently occupying, much less running again.
He claimed he did so poorly because he was so tired he almost fell asleep on the stage during the debate. Why? Because of his international travel. His last trip — to Italy — was 12 days before the debate, and he had more than a week to recover and prepare for the debate while holed up at Camp David, doing nothing else.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and porn star Stormy Daniels awkwardly ran through a role play Tuesday evening of Daniels’ testimony from former President Donald Trump’s New York trial.
Daniels appeared on “The Rachel Maddow Show” to discuss her part in Trump’s case which was brought forward by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. During her exclusive interview with Daniels, Maddow brought up the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on Trump’s presidential immunity appeal, in which the court found that a president sitting in office has immunity from criminal prosecution for “official acts.”
In the immediate aftermath of Thursday’s presidential debate, open speculation about Joe Biden’s electoral viability was mostly consigned to left-leaning commentators, columnists, and former U.S. senator Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.).

The White House announced Tuesday that Joe Biden will hold a meeting at the White House with Democratic Party governors Wednesday night to reassure them after Biden’s disastrous debate last Thursday with President Trump. The Democrat governors held a conference call on Monday where they rejected a suggested meeting with Kamala Harris, saying they needed to hear from Biden himself, according to reports. The meeting will be a mix of in-person and video conference attendance.
