An illegal migrant has been arrested for allegedly forcing a 15-year-old girl into his car, stripping off her clothes and raping her in upstate New York. Sakir Akkan, 21, is accused of targeting the teen after spotting her walking down a street in Albany in the early hours of May 14, the Times Union reported, citing court documents. Akkan, who hails from Turkey, allegedly jumped out of his Toyota Prius armed with a metal pole and threatened to beat the girl if she didn’t get in the car. Once she was inside, he allegedly sped off to an isolated street, took the girl’s clothes off and raped her, the filing charges.

Comments:

The NY Post correctly identifies Sakir Akkan, the rapist, as ILLEGAL. I haven't seen anything from Governor Hochul yet.

Apparently ‘we’ don’t use the term illegal anymore. The more vicious the crime the greater is the intensity of its enforcement.

We need a special "fast lane" trial system for illegals. 1 week trial, and death penalty for all violent crimes. Rape, armed robbery, murder expedited death penalty, like a 2 week appeal period. ENOUGH!

People! Teach your children some 'street smarts'. No good comes from being out late and especially if alone. I am not blaming this victim. But face it. I doubt she'd have been the victim if she hadn't walked the street looking vulnerable.

As these rapes by illegals increase, how realistic is it to assume any of the rapists would have the consideration of using a condom? Surely, some pregnancies will result from these vicious assaults by illegal monsters.

Sakir Akkan. Let me guess. The girl was dressed immodestly and he could not control himself. It is all her fault.

FTA —- Lawmakers have since criticized cops for not alerting the public to the alleged rape until after the local news outlet started probing — even as the suspect was on the loose for about a month. The police are subordinate to leftist politicians. These democrats delay and filter news reports for political purposes at the expense of public safety.

Even worse this wasn't reported right away either! The locals had to keep it under wraps because the ILLEGAL was involved and NY is doing all they can to protect these thugs swarming the state no matter what they do! They have been bussed into upstate areas and are living in motels and have ruined formerly nice shopping areas such as Wolf Road. County leaders have passed moratoriums to enforce resident requirements & demanding to be notified if there are any more busloads headed their way as their counties cannot absorb this extra expense! Meanwhile the thugs know they are protected by the no-bail measures so the worst of them will continue to threaten the safety and well being of tax-paying citizens! This situation is over the top outrageous with the Albany incident along with another one in Syracuse. Someone needs to wake up before citizens are forced to protect themselves while law authorities are forced to look the other way and higher ups find a way to always spin these events as being "isolated" and of course always changing the vocabulary to avoid the use of any reference to being 'ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!"

Chatter about replacing President Joe Biden at the top of the Democrat ticket with several different Democrat governors is reportedly irking those in Vice President Kamala Harris’s orbit, with one source saying the discussions send an underlying message the party desires a “white” candidate, according to a report. Politico reported the sour feelings within Harris’s camp as Govs. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) have been at the forefront of media speculation as to who could potentially replace Biden at the top of the ticket if Biden were actually to step aside.

More than 50 cars were involved in a street takeover in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday as some went up in flames, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Video shows a car completely engulfed by a fire, sitting in the middle of an intersection as a thick black cloud of smoke rises from the vehicle. Other cars can be seen as they try to drive around the inferno. LAPD said several vehicles were impounded after authorities responded to the area near East 18th Street and Main Street, where participants intentionally set two of the cars on fire.

Conservative voices on the Supreme Court united to overturn a decades-old decision that gave a lot of deference to federal agencies and their ability to write rules with little input or oversight from Congress. In a pair of decisions — Relentless, Inc. v. Department of Commerce and Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo — the Supreme Court ruled that the decades-old Chevron deference, a judicial test that would give deference to federal agencies so long as their interpretations of federal rules are "reasonable" and so long as Congress had not spoken directly on those rules, was not a valid test for regulatory agencies.

The 5-4 decision granted requests by Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia, as well as U.S. Steel Corp, pipeline operator Kinder Morgan and industry groups, to halt enforcement of the EPA's "Good Neighbor" plan restricting ozone pollution from upwind states, while they contest the rule's legality in a lower court.

The mayhem erupted at PS 682 in Gravesend just after the school’s fifth-grade graduation — which was themed, ironically, “All you need is love.” Instead, the Jewish woman’s husband was thrown to the ground by members of the other family. For some reason, high-speed rail is a hot-button issue for liberals and a frequent point of criticism from Chinese communist propaganda and Europeans when they attack the U.S. “How can you call yourself a developed country when you don’t have high-speed rail?” they ask. The reality is that high-speed rail would be more expensive and less efficient than our current travel infrastructure. High-speed rail works in Europe and China because of government subsidies, higher taxes, and because people typically travel shorter distances and have fewer travel options. The U.S. has more cars per capita, more highways, more airports, and more railroads than China or the EU. Additionally, Americans prefer to drive
