Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) blasted what he called the “MAGA SCOTUS” on Monday after the U.S. Supreme Court found in favor of former President Donald Trump in his challenge to January 6th prosecutors. Trump faces charges in Washington, D.C., brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith relating to his conduct on January 6, 2021, when rioters stormed the Capitol. He argued that he is immune from prosecution for his official acts.As Breitbart News reported, the Court found that presidents have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts, but not from unofficial acts, and remanded the case back to the trial court to determine the difference.

Schumer continues to refute the wisdom of our founding fathers who wrote that there are three equal branches government. Somehow, he believes the Senate is superior to the Supreme Court. He continues to refute any decision where its opinion does not match his desires. He stood on the steps and trashed and threatened the Supreme Court justices. For that, he should’ve been censured.

Actually, re: #8, the Wide Latina is full of too many refried beans. All those acts would clearly be immune to prosecution in ordinary courts, but they WILL wind up being judged by Congress as 'high crimes and misdemeanors' in an impeachment and would, if they actually happened, be convicted in the Senate. The Wide Latina does not grasp the fundamentals of the difference between low level political idiots like Smith and Garland abusing the legal processes against political rivals and the ONE legitimate way to punish a President....impeachment in the House and trial in the Senate. The Wide Latina is a dimwit.

We all knew when Donald Trump was elected in 2016 that he'd have the unique opportunity of appointing 3 or 4 Supreme Court Justices... and with that reverse America's legal decline, and it's been as such. I'm now hoping Trump's second term will allow him to appoint 1, maybe 2, or 3 more SCJ's in order to extend the "MAGA Effect" for another 25+ years. Our MAGA political future makes Chuck Schumer look like the Wicked Witch of the West at a "wet robe" contest.

Following the long awaited Supreme Court decision regarding former President Trump’s limited immunity, the progressive media began yet another doomsday diatribe. On MSNBC’s 11th Hour host Stephanie Ruhle and her co-panelists hit the panic button, claiming that the case allowed for a president like Trump to become a “king,” that there are “practically no limits whatsoever,” and tht Trump “can do whatever he wants.” These claims, not only completely false, exemplify the fear mongering which permeated the media’s agenda. Ruhle began the panel speaking to former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Harry Litman, regarding the decision. Former presidents are entitled to at least a presumption of immunity for their official acts, according to the high court.
