It's been a rough go lately for Caitlin Clark, but perhaps Friday night is exactly what she needed.
The rookie phenom tied her career-high of 30 points on Friday night and helped her Indiana Fever get an 85-83 win over the Washington Mystics.
Clark tied a WNBA rookie record with seven three-pointers, joining Crystal Robinson as the only players to make that many shots from behind the arc in their first year in the league. Her seven 3s were also the most in a game in Fever history, breaking Tamika Catchings' record of six in 2002.

Sorry —- The Associated Press contributed to this report.
Here is the last line of the article: The announced attendance was 20,233.
I recall a quote from golfer Raymond Floyd, I paraphrase: “For every dollar I earn, I owe 25 cents of it to Arnold Palmer.” The point is that jealous WNBA goons better back off because Caitlin Clark’s prescience is going to line the pockets of players in her era.

That was the largest WNBA crowd since 2007. And these two teams have the league's worst records.

I watched a highlight reel from the game and Caitlin is draining 3’s with no effort but she also strategically passes the ball so others can score.

Every time Miss Clark breaks a record held by a non-white player, she will incur a fresh wave of derision (or at least detraction) from the finger-wagging talking heads. Bravo, Caitlin.

Clark's turnovers would be a lot less if her teammates would catch a ball from her. Also her assists would double if they could made a simple layup, when they do catch a pass.
It was just announced that Clark will not be on the 2024 Olympic team.

Living well is the best revenge. Ignore those who hate you because you are straight and white. Take your salary, get paid for the endorsements and become financially secure. Then tell the losers to eff off.

She's white and sexually normal. That's two strikes again her. But mainly it is the $ 20 million Nike deal. They are feeling uppity because of what they perceive as a major diss. The first thing they are taught in the hood is that a diss, no matter how small, allows you to be violent. The better she plays the more will pay to watch her and the other women. They are just p*ssed that they could not fill the stands. Personally you could not pay me to watch women play basketball. I also feel the same way about soccer no matter who is playing. But to each his own and there are plenty of people who enjoy these sports. The more these women act like thugs the more will walk away. If we want to watch abuse we can just go downtown and hang out at the bus station men's bathroom.

And the black lesbians just hate the white straight woman who is a far better player than they ever can be.

We celebrate when women of color and gay women do well in previously white and straight dominated sports, attracting more to the sport. But a straight white women doing well? That's another story.

I don't care about the NBA. I have no clue what any team is doing and could care less about the playoffs. If the commercials advertising the NBA playoffs weren't on tv, I wouldn't even know the playoffs were taking place. I care even less about the WNBA.

#12 "...The first thing they are taught in the hood is that a diss, no matter how small, allows you to be violent." Right you are. I happily recommend Dr. Thomas Sowell's book White Liberals and Black Rednecks for an excellent discussion of culture in America.

I think I get it now. The difference between Ms Clark and the others is that Ms Clark knows how to play basketball. This isn't the 'hood anymore, ladies(?)

Pure and simple, black female basketball players can't stand Clark because she is sensationally talented and white. They are racists!
