Everyone has read the reports by now. On Oct. 7, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza called Hamas launched a surprise invasion of Israel. They shot, tortured, raped, beheaded and abducted every Jew they could find. Most were women, children and babies. Over 1,200 Jews died, and countless more were injured. It was a Jewish pogrom, right out of the Middle Ages. The perpetrators filmed their gruesome bloodbath and gleefully posted it on the internet. Hamas also took about 200 hostages back to the underground tunnels of Gaza, where they’ve been using them as human shields, trading them for Hamas terrorists captured by Israel, and torturing them to death.

Far-left squad leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made the false claim that “all” girls will have their genitals examined if laws are passed banning men from women’s sports. The noted socialist made her bizarre claim during a hearing with the House Oversight Subcommittee on Health this Tuesday, which featured activist swimmer Riley Gaines. According to AOC, laws banning men from women’s sports include policies that would force girls to have their genitals checked if someone disbelieves their expressed gender. “We are talking about opening up all women and girls to genital examinations

The walls continue to close in Joe Biden despite him pulling out all the stops including hiding his own identity. The House Ways and Means Committee released a never-before-seen email search showing that Biden sent 54 private emails to Hunter Biden’s close business associate and accountant, Eric Schwerin, using the pseudonym Robert Ware. Biden has consistently denied he has no knowledge of Hunter’s business dealings. This provides even more proof of his outrageous lies.

Karen Smith, a Democrat who was re-elected to the school board on November 7th, was sworn in on December 4th as the new Central Bucks school board president after a vote by the board. As Smith walked up to the podium to be sworn in, her husband followed her with a stack of books.

Jazz pointed out yesterday that Israel seemed to be preparing to flood the so-called Gaza Metro, the tunnels that Hamas uses to hide themselves and the hostages from Israel. Today, it seems they are moving forward with the plan. (X) Here’s a view of the supply pipes out to the sea. And this is apparently the first clip of the tunnels being flooded. The first time I saw this suggested was about a month ago (I wrote about Israel’s options, including this one, here). Here’s the argument the author made: The Gaza tunnel system, mostly constructed over the last forty years, provides Hamas with offensive access to Israel.

Donald Trump spent a good portion of his Fox News town hall bashing Biden's cognitive state and claiming the President 'doesn't know he's alive'. The former President criticized Biden for not being able to 'put two sentences together,' just moments after Trump himself struggled to say a coherent sentence. During his town hall on Tuesday night - Trump rambled on about gossiping with Ted Kennedy about who the smartest and dumbest people in the Senate at the time were.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of NPR’s “Morning Edition,” Aspen Public Radio Reporter Halle Zander reported on the town of Carbondale, Colorado, where a surge of migrants has overwhelmed local resources and forced migrants to sleep outside as temperatures drop. Zander reported on a migrant from Venezuela who went to Carbondale and “joined a group of about 125 migrants, mostly from Venezuela, who were living under a bridge at the entrance to the small town. She’s hopeful she can find stable housing nearby with her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s kids.” But “Carbondale doesn’t have many services to support unhoused people.

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Although things have been shifting in China's direction for years, the United States of America is still the superpower on the geopolitical block. In a better world, we would delay the ChiCom ascendancy for as long as possible, but that's difficult to do with a weak, addled president whose brain is being run by a bunch of "America last" progressives. This is a most dangerous and inopportune time for the United States to have a weak chief executive. The worst people in the world tend to act up a lot when there is a lack of spine in the White House.

After over nine months of holding up military promotions, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) announced Tuesday that he is releasing his hold on leadership nominees except for four-star generals… In response, the Senate rules committee passed a resolution last month to bypass Tuberville's holds. Tuberville initially did not believe the rule change would have the necessary GOP support to pass but changed his tune recently, expressing concern that Senate Democrats would get the nine Republican votes needed to pass.

Henry Ford (the car was named after his son) guaranteed hundreds of thousands of sales. But one big thing went wrong: Nobody ever bothered to ask car buyers what they thought of the new car,” he wrote. “Given the all-in approach to electric vehicles at Ford and General Motors, it’s clear that Detroit never got the message.” With all due respect to our good friend Steve, there is one

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan’s probe into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ indictment against former President Donald Trump has seen an interesting turn of events. Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, has been looking into the indictment over suspicions that it is motivated more by politics than by a pursuit of justice. On Tuesday, Jordan sent another letter to Willis highlighting her refusal to comply with the demands in the previous letter the committee sent. Of particular note, however, is a new revelation that Willis’ office reached out to the Democrats’ House Select Jan. 6 Committee to get information that could aid in her effort against Trump.

The Biden administration is demanding that Israel take even more extraordinary measures to avoid harming “innocent civilians” as it tries to eradicate Hamas. Around the world, politicians and others express dismay at the alleged number of innocent civilians who have been killed by Israeli bombardments, even while admitting that Hamas’s casualty numbers include its own terrorists, people killed by terrorists’ awol missiles, and so on. But my complaint is more fundamental. Watching videos of Israeli captives being paraded through Gaza, and seeing “civilians” spitting on them, hitting them, joyously celebrating their capture, I have asked: where are these innocent civilians we keep hearing about?

ALWAYS better safe that sorry, right? RIGHT? This warning from the government wouldn’t have anything to do with the current, tenuous state of the country’s electric grid in the face of, oh, say, something like “winter,” would it? Come to think of it, the Brits were having an awful touch and go time of it this weekend. The UK will be reliant on gas for up to two-thirds of its electricity this weekend as global policymakers at COP28 are reminded of the importance of fossil fuels. Freezing temperatures, resulting in a cold snap across the country, has seen demand soar, while outputs from windfarms have plunged.
