The horrors inflicted on Israelis living at a kibbutz near the border with Gaza were laid bare on Wednesday, as the world's media was shown around the bullet-ridden and blood-stained settlement where more than 100 people were murdered.
The Israeli Defense Force took reporters including a Fox News crew to Be'eri, just three miles from the Gaza border, on Tuesday.
The kibbutz was known as an artistic and farming community of 1,200 people, but on Saturday it was overrun by Hamas terrorists who attacked with grenades, guns and knives.

Addressing reporters during a press conference with Jewish leaders at the White House on Wednesday, Joe Biden appeared to confirm reports that Israeli babies had been found decapitated at Kibbutz Kfar Aza along the Gaza border after Hamas terrorists withdrew from the area.
“I never really thought that I would see and have confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children. I never thought I’d ever,” Biden said alongside a group of Jewish leaders. Several outlets reported earlier this week that the decapitated bodies of babies had been found at the kibbutz in Southern Israel by the Israeli military.

The Democratic Party is in a state of rhetorical paralysis. This weekend, as Palestinian terrorists streamed across the Israeli border, the White House maintained hours of thunderous silence. On Saturday, the Biden administration released a few limp paragraphs to the effect that “terrorism is never justified” and “Israel has a right to defend itself and its people.” This, after an uninterrupted outpouring of financial and oratorical support for Ukraine, is weak tea. But as the head of a party that is being overrun in not-so-slow motion by a vigorous young coterie of anti-Israel extremists, what more could Joe Biden say?

The war launched by Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel has roots that go back centuries, but a more recent critical node in the story is the Iranian Revolution of 1979, when militant Islam achieved state power in the ancient Persian land. The deeds of Hamas — rape, torture, murder, even beheading babies — are comparable to the worst of the Holocaust, and the perpetrators of these acts deserve to be executed just as much as the Nazis who were running extermination camps. This extends to all members of the terrorist organization. Every member of Hamas merits prompt execution, and only deliberate mercy or Israeli self-interest should spare them.
Only Hamas sympathizers could possibly dispute that the Israeli military has the moral right and duty to kill Hamas members on the battlefield. The more complex question is whether the guilt extends only to the personnel that actively participated in rape and baby murder

Come on, man, you may be tempted to respond. The US had known Hamas to be a client and proxy for the mullahs in Tehran for decades. Hamas even routinely brags about the support they get from Iran. They have relied on Iranian arms and munitions for their constant rocket attacks on Israel ever since the Israeli occupation of Gaza ended in 2005, an arms stream that forced Israel to put a policy of containment in place.
So why investigate whether Iran’s revolutionary guard (IRGC) trained Hamas “militants,” as NBC News calls the barbaric terrorists? There may be a reason to “investigate” the obvious:

But now, various crises at home and abroad threaten to paint Biden's tenure as anything but normal.

Hamas launched a fresh wave of rocket attacks in Israel this afternoon, destroying a children's hospital and a supermarket.
Shocking footage from the southern city of Ashkelon shows the Barzilai Medical Centre in ruins with the children's wing taking a direct hit.
Pictures also show the remains of a supermarket in the city, surrounded by debris and marked by a large crater. The strikes were among many launched by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who targeted multiple locations across the country.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu later shared a harrowing image of a child's bed with its sheets soaked in blood,

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense chief and centrist opposition party leader Benny Gantz have agreed to form an emergency government, a joint statement from Gantz's National Unity party said on Wednesday. Terrorists from Islamist group Hamas invaded Israel from the Gaza Strip on Saturday in a surprise assault that killed at least 1,200 people, the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israeli history.
Israel has responded with a massive bombardment of Gaza that has killed 1,055, and deployed thousands of troops around the enclave amid growing expectations it will launch a ground invasion to destroy Hamas.

A New York City mother whose daughter was among the hundreds slaughtered by Hamas at the music festival in Israel this weekend has warned that the terrorists will 'come for Americans once they're finished with Jews' - as more US victims of the conflict are named.
Oriya Ricardo, 26, was gunned down on Saturday at the Supernova festival along with more than 250 others. Her body was identified yesterday, after an agonizing three-day wait for her family.
Her New York City-resident mother, Hannie, appeared on MSNBC last night to pay tribute to her.

Let’s be honest about Mark Milley’s legacy.
To read the voluminous coverage of General Mark Milley’s retirement as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one might mistakenly surmise that he is the greatest military patriot since George Washington. But the opposite is far closer to the truth.
Promoted as the supposed savior of the republic by a well-orchestrated public relations campaign and a fawning press, Milley exhibited ambitions more akin to those of a partisan military commissar than the nation’s senior military adviser under the authority of the president. His tenure proved destructive to post-WWII civil-military norms, the integrity of the military chain of command, and the image

The sheer depravity of Hamas’s attack on Israel, during which its terrorists murdered close to 1,000 people and beheaded babies, is causing acute discomfort and splits in America’s Left.
For many, this is not the same discomfort as is felt on the Right and in the center, where there is simple horror and instinctive sympathy with terrorized people who otherwise live freely and peaceably in a high-functioning democracy under the rule of law. For them, appalling cruelty and sadistic gloating by Hamas murderers unambiguously distinguish evil from good. Common decency and humanity incline ordinary people to side with the victims. These swift reflexes are supported by inescapable conclusions based on

President Joe Biden denied long before he was inaugurated that he ever discussed business with his son. A new FOIA obtained by America First Legal via lawsuit, however, revealed that Joe emailed his son Hunter Biden, his brother James “Jim” Biden, and their respective firms tens of thousands of times over the course of his vice presidency.
In a joint status report published by the Washington D.C. District Court on Friday, the National Archives and Records Administration reluctantly admitted that it knew of 4,243 emails between then-Vice President Joe and Hutner Biden, another 1,751 emails between Joe and Jim, 19,335 emails between Joe and Hunter’s private equity firm Rosemont Seneca, and

Bill Ackman, the billionaire hedge fund manager and founder of Pershing Square Capital Management, has asked Harvard University to reveal the names of students which signed a statement holding Israel “entirely responsible” for the deadly conflict in the country.
Ackman put pressure on Harvard University in a post on X, saying he—and other high-profile CEOs—wanted to see the names so that “none of us inadvertently hire any of their members.” A Harvard graduate himself, Ackman continues “the names of the signatories should be made public so their views are publicly known.” Critics pushed back on Ackman, saying he was acting against the students’ right to free speech.

Encampment-overrun Denver is set to break ground on the first of many micro-communities designed to house the homeless - with 1,000 taxpayer-funded homes set to open by the end of the year. The site, located on S. Santa Fe Drive, is one of 11 being propped up by the famously progressive city, which is currently in the midst of an unprecedented homelessness crisis. Worsening matters is the fact the homeless are not exactly roughing it - with tent-laden processions complete with furniture and other amenities now a common sight in the Mile High City.

Just as the latest invasion began in Israel, swarms of the usual suspects began protesting in front of Israeli consulates in various American cities. Some of the anti-Israeli demonstrators were themselves Jewish… being committed leftists first and Jews second. They were of particular interest to the mainstream news media. Then news of horrific atrocities being carried out by the Hamas militants began to surface.
Shooting up a harmless music festival is way too much for even woke progressives -- let alone flaunting the naked bodies of freshly murdered women. As I write, the revulsion on the Left is still lurking below the radar.

Gaza is holding its breath today as Israel masses troops and tanks on the border ahead of the launch of an expected invasion of the enclave in retaliation for the brutal assault carried out by the Hamas terrorist group on Saturday.
Israeli airstrikes demolished entire neighbourhoods on Wednesday, and hospitals in the Gaza Strip are struggling to treat the injured with dwindling medical supplies.
Meanwhile, Gaza's two million residents lost electricity as the enclave's sole power plant ran out of fuel and shut down, energy officials said, deepening the crisis inside the 140-square-mile territory that is currently besieged by Israeli forces.

On Tuesday morning we learned that the bodies of 40 babies slaughtered by Hamas had been found in the southern Israeli town of Kfar Aza, some of them having been beheaded. Throughout the day, mainstream journalists and Hamas sympathizers accused Israel of having made it up, and claimed it was propaganda. However, the CBS News and CNN eventually reported on the horrific discovery, and President Biden referenced it in his address to the nation.

Editor’s note: We saw this post on X (formerly known as Twitter) and thought it worth reprinting here because it is an excellent summation of why elections matter and why those who think Donald Trump was the worst president ever might want to rethink that.
This was posted by Robert Greenway, who was the principal architect of the historic Abraham Accords under the Trump administration. Remember that every step he describes that Trump took was met with horror and anguish by elites and leftists alike who said it would lead to conflict.

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) As we have discussed here a few times, Democrats often struggle with identifying who the real bad guys are in a conflict. Sure, they had a moment of clarity after 9/11, but that was all too fleeting. They have spent most of the two-plus decades since running interference or being flat-out apologists for anyone with a suicide vest.
For the longest time, the Democrats at least managed to keep the most virulent anti-Semitic voices among them out of national office. When Minnesota sent Keith Ellison to Congress in 2007, he would at least try to be coy about his true feelings.

President Joe Biden’s decision to turn tail and start construction on a border wall was quickly overshadowed by the gruesome attack against Israel. But it’s worth revisiting because Biden’s Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas might have just admitted to repeatedly lying to Congress under oath.
On Aug. 5, Mayorkas announced that he planned to waive more than two dozen federal statutes so that construction could immediately begin on 20 miles of border wall in Texas.
Why was he taking this step? Mayorkas makes it perfectly clear:

A pro-Palestine group that has been designated as anti-Semitic by the Anti-Defamation League is planning a 'Day of Resistance' across college campuses in support of the Hamas attacks in Israel that killed 1,200.
Students for Justice in Palestine was founded at the University of California at Berkeley in 2001 and counts over 200 chapters across the United States, Canada and New Zealand.
While the ADL claims that the group says 'they reject anti-Semitism, they also regularly demonize Jewish students who identify as Zionists or proud supporters of the State of Israel.'

On Saturday, Hamas attacked Israel, making it the bloodiest day in the country's history and resulting in more Jews dead since the end of the Holocaust. Meanwhile, the Biden administration's response was less than ideal in many ways. This is especially with regards to the $6 billion that the United States released to Iran as part of a prisoner exchange, a move that was announced on the anniversary of September 11, no less. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in his Monday edition of "The Verdict," was among those calling out the administration for this, but also other, moves.

An Israeli mother of two children kidnapped by Hamas tore into MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell for suggesting there's "symmetry" between the bloodshed committed by the terrorist group and the Israel's military response.
The mother, who has chosen to keep her name anonymous out of the safety of her 12 and 16-year-old boys who were taken into Gaza, appeared on Monday's installment of "Andrea Mitchell Reports" and shared her harrowing story about hearing her children on the phone being kidnapped by Hamas as it occurred.
However, things grew tense between the mother and Mitchell when the host asked about her feelings on "the attacks against Gaza right now," alluding to
