Speaking at Turning Point USA’s ACTCON convention this past weekend, Roger Stone predicted that Michelle Obama will be the Democrat party’s nominee for president. He may be right. I certainly wouldn’t discount her being on the ballot or actually winning.
Here’s Stone’s tweet with the video showing him making that prediction: Predicting the future is a notoriously tricky business, but I think that Stone’s prediction is at least plausible based on the known facts.
In the short term, getting Biden out and Kamala in is reasonable on its face. Biden is degrading with exponential speed. It’s fine to keep him propped up in office to sign the necessary executive orders to advance

Hollywood once supported America and family values; it’s now antithetical to them. This means that many Americans are rooting for its collapse during a writers’ and actors’ strike over an industry change as significant and destructive as the advent of the car was to carriage makers.
I’m a huge fan of pre-1960s movies, and I know a fair amount about the history of Hollywood. In Hollywood’s early years, the executives behind it were almost entirely Jewish immigrants who found a niche in a brand-new industry and filled it.

For those of us who have been trying to awaken people to the true nature of Republicans in the senate, aka “the Decepticons”, the latest self-admissions are very welcome.
According to interviews conducted by The Hill, several republican senators are now saying they just cannot be members of the republican party if they are forced to represent the interests of the base voter. These very specifically named republicans have always been members of the UniParty in DC; however, now they are saying “populism” amid the commonsense, America-First voting base is not going to be acceptable.

White House spokesman John Kirby on Tuesday argued it is a “foundational sacred obligation” for military leaders to provide troops and their family members with access to abortion.
During a White House briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Kirby if the Biden administration’s policy of paying for troops and their family members to travel out of state for abortion is “critical” for military readiness.Kirby responded that since the U.S. military comprised of volunteers, it was a “foundational, sacred obligation” to provide them and their family members with paid travel and time off to get abortions if they were based in states where it is restricted.

Two IRS whistleblowers - one anonymous, the other named Gary Shapley - have claimed that Hunter Biden was treated more leniently than ordinary Americans.

West Palm Beach, Fla.— When student activists assembled in Florida last year for Turning Point Action’s annual summit, many were torn, wrestling with whether former President Donald Trump or Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was the Republican Party’s best hope for 2024.
One year later, there is no more doubt. Attendees at this year’s meeting booed at even the suggestion of a contested GOP primary. Trump, they overwhelmingly said, is their pick.
“Trump, for sure. I don’t think anyone else really has a chance,” said Sky Sanchez, 21, a student from Durham, North Carolina, who was volunteering at the conference with the Tea Party Patriots.

Workers over the aged of 50 are entitled to make catch-up contributions to their 401(K)s worth up to $7,500 this year. The annual cap on all contributions is $30,000.
But from 2024, those earning over $145,000 will no longer be able to put these catch-up payments into a traditional 401(K). Instead, the money will be only funneled into a Roth IRA account, according to new rules passed through Congress in December.
The main difference between a Roth account and a 401(K) pot is that the former is taxed upfront -

New York City has embraced a set of controversial policies that push the limits of green experimentation in seeking to reduce emissions from buildings, kitchen appliances, and cars. Critics argue the new policies are likely to be costly and burdensome for the city's millions of residents.
New York City has drafted rules to slash carbon emissions from its roughly 50,000 buildings by more than 40% by 2030 and reach net-zero emissions by 2050 — an ambitious goal, especially considering buildings in the city are the source of 70% of its total greenhouse gas emissions.

Just call him the librarian-in-chief. In yet another gross abuse of executive authority, President Joe Biden is wielding the power of his Department of Education to stop parental efforts to remove sexually explicit books from public school libraries.
It’s his latest in a string of moves meant to bully parents and other concerned citizens into silence when it comes to what kids learn in public schools and, in this case, when they should be exposed to sexually explicit material. But the notion that the federal government has any authority to veto a school district’s decision to protect students from pornographic content belongs in the library’s fantasy section.

Recently, Arizona Republican Eli Crane was rebuked for referring to “people of color” as “colored people.”
That’s a controversy which would, at any other time in the history of the English language, be incomprehensible to a sensible reader. After all, there’s no practical difference in the phrases. In fact, the choice to give preference to the phrase “people of color” is worse than practically useless to an English speaker -- it’s needlessly more burdensome to both the talker and the listener.
Consider this formula with any other trait. Would you refer to yourself as a “person of dark hair,” or a “dark-haired person?”

Public schools (I prefer the term “government schools”) in Democrat-run cities have become a racket, plundering taxpayers’ funds and failing to deliver even a minimally acceptable education. The fact that Americans spend more on their government schools than any other country, and yet our students place near the bottom of standardized achievement tests is all the proof that one needs. We are being cheated on a massive scale, and the future of the nation is in peril when large numbers of children, mostly but not exclusively minorities, are being condemned to law pay and social status because they are so innumerate and illiterate.

Madame Veep’s latest thought derailment involved some pontificating about green stuff, a subject which lends itself to lunacy.

Earlier this month, Boy Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asked Taylor Swift to take her tour to Canada, where she so far has no concert dates. “We hope to see you soon,” he tweeted. If she does, she’d better hope none of her crew becomes ill. A person could expire while waiting to see a doctor in Canada.
The Vancouver-based Fraser Institute, which has long documented Canada’s miserable government-run health care system, estimates the cost of waiting for care “for patients who were in the queue in 2022 was almost $3.6 billion … an average of about $2,925 for each of the estimated 1,228,047 Canadians waiting for treatment.”

In these turbulent times, many Americans are thirsting to discover the roots of the founding and reclaim the essence of the idea that became the United States of America. The forgotten revolutionary raid at Stony Point, which occurred 244 years ago this week, exemplifies American courage, innovation, and grit. It typifies American DNA and our thirst for freedom and liberty.
On July 15 and 16, 1779, the night was cold, and the wind lashed at the faces of the American light infantry moving through the darkness. One by one, the Continentals stepped off solid ground and plunged into waist-deep, thick, green muck.

LONDON— Russia halted an unprecedented wartime deal on Monday that allows grain to flow from Ukraine to countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia where hunger is a growing threat and high food prices have pushed more people into poverty.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced Russia would suspend the Black Sea Grain Initiative until its demands to get its own agricultural shipments to the world are met — even though the country has been shipping record amounts of wheat and its fertilizers also have been flowing.
“When the part of the Black Sea deal related to Russia is implemented, Russia will immediately return to the implementation of the deal,” Peskov said.

KYIV, Ukraine– Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview published Sunday that Russia has a “sufficient stockpile” of cluster munitions, and warned that Russia “reserves the right to take reciprocal action” if Ukraine uses the controversial weapons.
In his first comments on the delivery of cluster munitions to Ukraine from the U.S., Putin said that Russia has not used cluster bombs in its war in Ukraine so far.
“Until now, we have not done this, we have not used it, and we have not had such a need,” he said, although the use of cluster bombs by both Russia and Ukraine has been widely documented,

Former President Donald Trump said on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures” that the only mistake he made during his time in office was some of the people he picked to serve in his cabinet.
Anchor Maria Bartiromo asked, “Is there is anything you could look back on in 16 that you think maybe you want to do differently?”
Trump said, “The mistake would be people. I mean, I wouldn’t have put a guy like Bill Barr, and he was weak and pathetic. I wouldn’t have put Jeff Sessions. And there are some people that I wouldn’t have put in. You know, most people were good, but I had some people,

Recently the Supreme Court put an end to Joe Biden’s efforts to give erstwhile college students almost a trillion dollars in “debt relief,” although the Biden administration is trying again. That’s a lot of money… But that’s actually a tiny fraction of the money the government has wasted on redistribution, aka social programs, over the last six decades.
Next year, the United States will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the War on Poverty, which President Lyndon B. Johnson initiated in 1964. The War’s programs initially started on a modest scale but have expanded almost parabolically since. By the War’s 50th anniversary, the government had spent more than $22 trillion on various

On July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800 left JFK airport in New York City heading east to Paris. Twelve minutes after its 8:19 departure the doomed 747 blew up off the south coast of Long Island, killing all 230 souls aboard.
On August 23, 1996, the New York Times reported on its front page, above the fold right, “Prime Evidence Found That Device Exploded in Cabin of Flight 800.” According to the Times, only the FBI’s uncertainty about whether the device was a bomb or a missile kept it from declaring TWA 800’s destruction a crime.
On that same day, above the fold left, was the headline, “Clinton Signs Bill Cutting Welfare;

Betsy DeVos says she hopes Americans elect a president in 2024 who will shut down the Education Department and strip powerful teachers' unions of their control in order to champion freedom and choice in American education.
'I don't think the Federal Department of Education should exist,' the former education secretary told DailyMail.com during an exclusive interview.
'I'm hopeful that we elect a president who is also committed to either scaling back dramatically or ultimately shutting down the Department of Education.'

For most Americans, “Mom” evokes images of kindness, courage, sympathy and love. Likewise, “liberty” calls up concepts like individual rights, freedom of expression, equality and justice. Yet, the perversity of the current political environment is such that a parental rights group whose name combines these two words has been demonized by Democrats, the media and the left. Just recently, a New Hampshire Democrat denounced the group as “A**holes with casseroles,” the Hill ran a story titled, “Six reasons why Moms for Liberty is an extremist organization,” and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) added them to its Hate Map.

Yesterday’s blog post on the need to start pressuring Biden’s cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment drew a lot of readers and commenters, with much concern expressed about what happens next. Because the 25th has never been invoked, there is some confusion about whether or not a new vice president would need to be appointed. (snip) the Vice President remains in office as VP and only becomes “Acting President.” While all the “duties and powers” (Section 4) of the presidency devolve upon the Acting President, there is no vacancy in the office of Vice President. So, there is no need or ability to appoint a new Vice President.

Sound of Freedom is once again shocking the box office with expectations of reaching nearly $23 million in its second weekend in theaters.
The film grossed more than $7 million on Friday, putting it on pace to finish the weekend with $81 million and to break $100 million in gross receipts, according to box office reports. Sound of Freedom continues to beat Sony Pictures Insidious: The Red Door overall, in addition to besting Disney’s latest Indiana Jones film on a daily basis for nearly a week. The movie, which is distributed by Angel Studios, details
