Fox News personalities Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, John Roberts and Piers Morgan have all come out in agreement: In their opinion, Donald Trump should absolutely participate in the first Republican presidential candidates debate of the 2024 cycle, which will be held next month in Milwaukee — and broadcast on their very own Fox News.
The former president has refused to commit to the Aug. 23 debate, and he indicated as recently as Sunday that he’s leaning against it. (“When you have a big lead, you don’t do it,” he told interviewer Maria Bartiromo.)

SCOOP: Ron Gidwitz, an Illinois Republican stalwart who raised funds for Donald Trump and worked in his administration, is endorsing Chris Christie in 2024, saying the former New Jersey governor has executive chops and isn’t afraid to stand up to the former president.
“He knows how to work across party lines, which is terribly important as opposed to having a constant battle between Republicans and Democrats,” Gidwitz told Playbook in an interview about endorsing Christie. “And he’s the only candidate in the race today who seems to have the courage to call out Donald Trump on the campaign trail.”

Donald Trump’s favorability among Republican and Republican-leaning voters has fallen from 75 percent in July 2022 to 66 percent in July 2023, according to a new Pew poll.
Conversely, while only 24 percent of Republican voters surveyed thought of Trump unfavorably in July 2022, that is now up to 32 percent in the latest poll.
Among the broader voting public, the former president’s unfavorability has remained largely stable. Whereas 60 percent of Americans did not hold a strong opinion of him in July 2022, today, that is only 63 percent following his legal woes.
Trump’s favorability ratings place him in a similar league with President Joe Biden, who went from 43

On Tuesday the House Oversight Committee released a 14-year timeline of the Biden Crime Family’s influence peddling and selling out America to foreign regimes including Communist China.
The Oversight Committee is likely just scratching the surface of the criminal actions by Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and the extended Biden family.
The Biden family was selling out America to Ukraine, Romania, and Communist China.
There is plenty of proof.
On Wednesday IRS Whistleblower Joseph Ziegler confirmed in sworn testimony to Congress that the Biden Family received approximately $17 million in bribes from China, Romania, and other countries in exchange for political favors.

The Justice Department has said it plans to sue Texas if the state doesn’t remove the 1,000-foot floating barrier it placed in the Rio Grande river in a bid to deter illegal immigrants from crossing the US border.
The threat of legal action was made in a letter sent to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott by the Biden administration on Thursday.
The barrier of wrecking ball-sized buoys, which was strung up earlier this month near the border town of Eagle Pass, was “unlawful” and violated federal law, the letter charged.
“The State of Texas’s actions violate federal law, raise humanitarian concerns, present serious risks to public safety

Fans criticized members of the United States Women's Soccer team for not singing the national anthem.
AP
The US Women’s National Soccer team was victorious in its opening match of the 2023 FIFA World Cup — but they’re not winners to fans left fuming after the most of the athletes stayed silent during the national anthem.
Before the reigning women’s World Cup champion team went on to crush newcomer Vietnam 3-0, many of the players stood quietly as the “Star Spangled Banner” blared through New Zealand’s Eden Park arena.

Donald Trump's supporters in New Hampshire have a new favorite choice for vice president: They want youthful anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy on the ticket.
He displaces Arizona's election-denying Kari Lake in the affections of MAGA world, according to a new DailyMail.com poll.
Ramaswamy, who has blitzed the early primary state with grassroots events, claims 19 percent of the VP vote ahead of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Lake who both take 17 percent.

Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Republican attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris are “offensive” because she is an “icon.”
Anchor Margaret Brennan asked, “Let’s go national here. Nikki Haley, in particular, has focused on the Vice President Kamala Harris and a lot of her rhetoric and she’s done it as a way pointing to President Biden’s age. The RNC is posting frequently clips from her speeches, flubs and they’re really taking aim at her. Why have Republicans calculated it is a good strategy and that the vice president makes Democrats vulnerable?”
Murphy said, “I mean, this is a classic us versus them playbook that, unfortunately,

It is so hot in Maricopa County, Arizona, that people are being brought into the emergency room with significant, sometimes life-threatening burns. For the past three or four weeks of this record heatwave, people have been burned just by falling on the ground. “Summers are our busy season, so we anticipate that this sort of thing is going to happen. But this is really unusual — the number of patients that we’re seeing and the severity of injuries — the acuity of injuries is much higher,” said Dr. Kevin Foster, director of burn services at the Arizona Burn Center at Valleywise Health.

At a Jan. 26, 1998 White House event, with wife Hillary by his side, then-President Bill Clinton wagged his finger at reporters and said, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”
If not for the stains on Monica Lewinsky’s infamous “blue dress,” he would have been happy to leave it at that. But called upon to provide a blood sample for DNA testing that summer, Clinton was forced to admit to a grand jury that yes, actually, he did have “inappropriate intimate contact” with Miss Lewinsky.
In a televised address to the nation on Aug. 17, 1998, he confessed: “Indeed, I did have a relationship

Republicans are mounting their own effort at an expanded child tax credit that includes applying the credit to fetuses in the womb. Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, is leading a package of bills in the House called the Providing For Life Act, an ambitious attempt at overhauling the federal government’s family care system.
Hinson told Fox News Digital her legislation "charts the policy course for a culture of life in America."
"By expanding the child tax credit to include the unborn and providing additional support to working families, empowering women to care for their babies regardless of socioeconomic status or zip code and improving access to community resources, we can

Greta Thunberg will have to pay a small fine after being convicted of disobeying a lawful order of the authorities to stop blocking a road earlier this year, an outcome she has decried as “absurd”.
Those who burn fossil fuels should be in court, not those who fight against them, climate celebrity Greta Thunberg said today as she was handed a criminal record in a Swedish court for a protest action earlier this year. Thunberg was ordered to pay 50 kronor, or £3.75/$4.80 a day every day for 30 days. In all, the fine will add up to just £112, or $144.
