If you attempt to watch the YouTube version of Tucker Carlson’s report on what’s going on in Atlanta from Monday night, you’ll find yourself wading through warnings that “the following content has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.”
There is nothing pornographic in Carlson’s report. Nor is there foul language.
What’s “inappropriate” or “offensive” in it is the truth about the people who run Atlanta, truth that everyone knows and understands. It’s the fact someone might speak the truth in a video appearing on YouTube that is offensive to the “YouTube community.”
The funny thing is, Carlson isn’t telling the half of it.

Excellent commentary, well worth reading for the clear view on how the Demonrats intentionally plan to wreck cities.
FTA:
"What makes a place livable is the presence of lots of middle-class people. Middle-class people are the ones most plugged into a community. They’re the volunteers, they’re the tax base, they’re the shopkeepers, the professionals, the volunteer coaches, and the churchgoers. A thriving community has lots of middle-class folks mowing their lawns on Saturday mornings, participating in bowling leagues, opening businesses and buying clothes, TVs, and furniture.
But the problem with middle-class people is that, while they bring a good deal of money in taxes, they also want lots of things for that money. In short, they want what they’re paying for with property and sales taxes. To keep them happy means giving them value for those tax dollars.
That doesn’t leave a lot of room for the pigs to feed at the trough. When the potholes in the streets have to be filled, it’s harder to steal the pothole budget."
And the key point ---
"the urban Democrat machine politicians realized that running cities badly enough would chase off the middle class and leave them with a thin crust of wealthy people over a large mass of the poor. And a city thus populated would never elect Republicans, or even reform-minded Democrats. Accountability would disappear."
There it is, the Dem plan revealed. The Dems WANT the city to fail, and they WANT the middle class to move away. The middle class is inconvenient, have to be driven away. These thieving grifters WANT failed cities because the fraud and corruption is easier.

It’s easy with the Communists: follow the money.
But this analysis is stellar in its clear explanation of how and where the money moves.
Agree with #1 on all points.

I’ve never seen this explained so well, and so clearly. This is the “must read” of the day.

Atlanta, just another democratic city allowing thugs to run wild with zero consequences and Buckhead is just another feeding tube to a sick city. Years ago Johns Creek was in the same position as Buckhead but they saw this coming and saw how they were paying high taxes to support a corrupt city, so they seceded from Atlanta. It's amazing how the same elements are inherent and destroy every democratic run city.

Americans are paying for their own destruction just like these political thieves and crooks planned. How can we ever fix this when everyone is on the take? Look at our DOJ and FBI. They are corrupt to the hilt. In around 1967 when it was declared that God is dead, our journey down the slippery slope of secular humanism began. We are now just about at rock bottom and I honestly do not see a viable solution to pull us back from this moral and cultural abyss. As long as the democrat party along with some Republicans continue on this way, we are doomed.

There seems to be no road back once a city tips full-blown Democrat. New York City briefly turned things around under Giuliani and Bloomberg, then chose the worst-possible mayor, and is now in rapid decline again.

I think the theoretical model errs in one respect -- the Author opines that the middle class makes the decision to leave incompetent governance. I don't believe that. They haven't done that at the national level, have they? No, the middle class departs because the only people who can afford to live under it are the wealthy and the government subsidized. The middle class got pushed out; they didn't leave on their own. No, current events prove that the middle class has an unlimited capacity to accept government created malaise.
