Football star Megan Rapinoe and actress and producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas are joining Victoria's Secret in what the lingerie giant is calling a "dramatic shift" for the brand.
They are among several new faces who will help promote the brand which is best known for its lingerie-clad models known as Angels.
Victoria's Secret still generates billions of dollars in sales.
However, its hyper-sexualised image has fallen out of fashion in recent years.
Ms Rapinoe and Ms Chopra Jonas will form part of "The VS Collective" a group of women who will work with the company on "collaborations, business partnerships and cause-related initiatives".

Go woke, go broke!!!! I have the feeling that VS is about to learn that the hard way!!!!
Ugly bull dykes just don't buy that much extremely expensive lacy lingerie. It's just a fact.

I haven't bought anything at Victoria's Secret in many, many years -- and that was a gift for a young lady who was getting married. So the fact that this is a horrible idea really doesn't effect me. You can't boycott a company you don't shop at to start with.
But we used to get Subway at least once or twice a week. We haven't been there since they hired this terrible America-hating bull dyke as their spokes-thing. And I can't see us going back. We just realized that we really didn't like it all that much when we were eating there regularly.

Megan Rapinoe does serve a purpose when you think about it. On the eve of Fathers Day 2021, millions of dads will observe our daughters, regard Megan and think...thank God.

There's so many easy jokes for this one but the big joke is on the VS Board and investors.
Get woke, go broke.
Hiring this hateful, vicious, anti-human is a terrible mistake they'll pay for in every market they show her face or use her name. Pretty stupid.

TK and I had a lot of fun shopping at Victoria's Secret when we were newlyweds. (I wonder what happened to that red corset and matching elbow length gloves? Things get lost after 33 years.)
The Woke Left is determined to wipe out the marital embrace and the resulting families. The destruction of the black family is their template for whites, Hispanics and Asians so their subjects are beholding only to the state. They have already given our wider society abortion, no-fault divorce, working mothers and un/under employed fathers. Normal heterosexual couples are derided as "cis" and unfashionable, while every sexual deviancy that once graced the DSM is heralded as liberating and more personally fulfilling than a limiting and stuffy marriage. Destroying the family is the most efficient way to destroy a society; witness the change between the black community of the 1950s and the post Great Society mayhem of today.
Victoria's Secret customers will no longer be men shopping for wives and lady friends, but men shopping for themselves. Instead of women shopping for husbands and gentlemen friends, women will be shopping for other women. Will they will have a section for those that identify as neither? It would be better for Victoria's Secret to lock the doors. At least then we could say, "Thanks for the memories."

Yukk. This lesbian, hateful witch isn't any kind or pretty, face, body....nothing. So is VS going to the homosexual side? I doubt that they'll sell much that way.

Do lesbians like to wear and buy sexy lingerie? Just asking, as I have no idea. Don't think this new marketing approach is going to go well. An ugly, butch broad to promote your sexy stuff? Who wants to see it?

We have other sub sandwich shops where I live and I will go there. As for Victoria's Secret, I don't like their stuff, it isn't comfortable and it doesn't fit me. So, bye to the both of you.

Good riddance, VS. Their models were no angels either; that was sacrilege, but how will they be rebranded now? I'm thinking beasts, brutes, hellions, or something.

Must be for the new line of plaid flannel teddies they're coming out with for the ladies with the bad haircuts. As for Subway, I'm fine with that one because I'm pretty sure she hasn't been anywhere near a foot-long in a long while and that's reassuring to me.

Imagine VS' surprise when their sales take an "unexpected" drop. They will experience what the New Coke did a few years ago. Pretty girls can sell anything, LGBTQ creatures and "full figured" whales, not so much.

I guess not enough angry lesbians were buying overpriced, cheaply made, uncomfortable bras?
Haven't bothered with them since my 20's and I went to a real women's undergarment store and was properly fitted by a professional, which every woman should do. VS are the worst bras ever for any woman past training bra volume. Skinny straps, no support, and very uncomfortable. All show and no real value.

Is Victoria's secret that she is a lesbian? Sorry, but Megan Rapinoe does not bring lingerie to mind. Will their advertising be full of swearing and activism? She will turn off more people than convince them they need expensive underwear.

Great idea - catering to less than 1% of their purchasing base. While they’re at it, they should hire Commie-la’s hideous step daughter who is now a “model”.

A tattooed green hair bull dyke? Might as well shutter the doors men's underwear won't sell. VS should stick to the scrawny models they already have. My wife shops there but wait until she reads about this VS will lose a customer.

Somehow, I don’t think if I were to see Ms Rapinoe (or some guy who wants to think he’s a girl) in lingerie (not really interested in that), it would compel me to think that my spouse would look good in that outfit.
Do you think it’s a contest to see if any company can figure out how to break through the “get woke, go broke” pattern we’ve seen? Every time one of these companies does this it ends badly for them, yet it seems there is always another one lined up to try again.
Stupid is as stupid does.

I've never purchased anything from Victoria's Secret before because it was so expensive and looked so uncomfortable to me. Like was previously said, you can't boycott a store you never shopped at. However, I used to eat at Subway. However, they don't yet have a gluten-free roll so they are off the list. I prefer Firehouse and Jersey Mike's anyway.

I doubt many men will be tempted to buy a VS item after seeing it modeled by a 350 pound woman or some masculine lesbian. Excessive fat is ugly and always will be.
