It is remarkable to see how quickly the unified opinion against former President Trump and for the alleged necessity of removing him from the White House has cracked apart since that goal was achieved. Having sex with a minor is serious business and should be punished.
No charges have been brought against the congressman. In fact, it’s “unclear,” to use the NYT’s word, whether it even rises to an “investigation.”

Actress Gina Carano lost her job with Disney’s The Mandalorian for warning against the Nazi-like dehumanization of others and the awful places that can lead.
Former Democrat Sen. Heidi Heitkamp recently smeared Carano as both a “Nazi” and as someone who hangs around “white supremacists” during a segment on Bill Maher’s Real Time show.
Carano noticed, and called Heitkamp out on Twitter. Democrats have been getting away with such smears for years now, decades. They called all Republican presidents in my lifetime either Nazis or racists or some variation on that theme, including Ronald Reagan and both Bushes. While dishonest and despicable, those insults targeted political figures.
Hours after the New York Times broke a story on the Justice Department investigating sex trafficking allegations against Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fl.), Gaetz appeared on Fox News’ Tucker to refute the claims.
Asked about the story by Tucker Carlos, Gaetz says “It is a horrible allegation, and it is a lie.”
Gaetz reiterated claims made on Twitter and elsewhere that the allegations stem from a former Justice Department official who was attempting to blackmail him. That official, who Gaetz named as “David McGee,” contacted Gaetz’s father, according to the Republican House member.

G. Gordon Liddy, the brash political operative who helped orchestrate the 1972 Watergate burglary, reportedly died on Tuesday at his daughter’s Virginia home. The number of Americans who belong to a house of worship has dropped below 50 percent for the first time since polling began, according to a recent study from Gallup.
“Americans’ membership in houses of worship continued to decline last year, dropping below 50% for the first time in Gallup’s eight-decade trend,” the polling group discovered. “In 2020, 47% of Americans said they belonged to a church, synagogue or mosque, down from 50% in 2018 and 70% in 1999.”“The decline in church membership is primarily a function of the increasing number of Americans who express no religious preference,”

That’s when the thumbs up/thumbs down system came into being. Fictional Big Bang Theory character Sheldon Cooper confessed that the change stressed him out, but most humans didn’t care much one way or the other. Among the outrageous parts of this new state law, it ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.
But the Georgia law does no such thing.
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe Tuesday, the cast of left-wing shills bitterly whined that corporations based in Georgia were guilty “of not having done enough to stop” the state’s newly-passed election reform law. The panel of partisan hacks touted threats of boycotts as they expressed outrage that companies like Delta Airlines and Coca-Cola were not taking marching orders from Democratic Party activists.

The Bidens' dog Major has been involved in another biting incident that required medical attention, two people with knowledge of the incident tell CNN. The incident, which involved a National Park Service employee, took place on the White House South Lawn on Monday afternoon. State Democrats want to limit the number of miles Minnesotans can drive, according to a new bill making its way through the Legislature. The “Sustainable Transportation Act” would require Minnesota to adopt a goal of reducing vehicle miles traveled by “at least 20% by 2050.” Rep. Frank Hornstein, DFL- Minneapolis, said a reduction in vehicle miles traveled, or VMT, is needed “if we are going to make headway in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector.” “Transportation is now the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions and we’ve had the least amount of reduction in the transportation sector,” Hornstein said during a Thursday hearing on his bill.
MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police want to identify the man who punched and kicked an Asian woman on her way to church.
The incident was reported Monday in front of 360 West 43rd Street just before noon. Authorities say the 65-year-old victim was punched and kicked until she fell to the ground as the suspect made anti-Asian statements toward her. The victim was taken to the hospital with swelling to the face and pain in the left leg after suffering several blows to the head. She is said to be stable. The Asian Hate Crime Task force said the security guard captured on video failed to render aid.

Today, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press conference after signing a bill to protect businesses from liability related to COVID-19. DeSantis also said he would be taking executive action to prohibit vaccine passports in the state of Florida. He stated his position clearly:

The Navy described BLM as a 'public policy issue' in the slides and advocating for the organisation was allowed as long as the behavior is lawful.
But they stated that advocacy would be prohibited if it was 'politically partisan in nature'. In the 'scenarios for discussion' slides, obtained by Fox News, Navy personnel were asked if they think BLM is 'political stuff' that those in command are 'not supposed to be talking about at work'.
