Iowa Democrat Rita Hart has dropped her election challenge to Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks’s 2020 victory in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District.
Hart on March 31 withdrew her challenge to her state-certified, six-vote loss with the House Administration Committee. A number of Democratic lawmakers in recent days said House leaders should not attempt to overturn the election results.
“After many conversations with people I trust about the future of this contest, I have made the decision to withdraw my contest before the House Committee on Administration,” Hart said in a statement.

America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) spoke to former Pfizer Vice President and Chief Science Officer Dr. Mike Yeadon about his views on the COVID-19 vaccine, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, the regulatory authorities, and more.

Experts say that relying solely on vaccine passports to allow people to engage in certain activities again is not an effective mitigation tool to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and may distract from other necessary interventions or from the message of vaccination itself.(Snip)Critics of the vaccine passport have raised concerns that they may create a system giving too much power to the government that eventually leads to people’s freedoms being taken away, similar to China’s social credit system, which is an extreme surveillance system that tracks every Chinese citizen’s economic and social behavior. Each citizen is given a score that either punishes or rewards them.

State prosecutors in Manhattan investigating former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization have subpoenaed the personal bank records of the company’s chief financial officer and are questioning gifts he and his family received from Mr. Trump, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
In recent weeks, the prosecutors have trained their focus on the executive, Allen H. Weisselberg, in what appears to be a determined effort to gain his cooperation. Mr. Weisselberg, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, has overseen the Trump Organization’s finances for decades and may hold the key to any possible criminal case in New York against the former president and his family business.

“Corporate communism” began trending on Twitter Tuesday afternoon due to a video of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene coining the term.
The freshman Republican was talking about the Biden administration’s ambitions to buddy up with so-called private companies in creating a way to identify who has been vaccinated against the Wuhan virus. These “vaccine passports” would allow some combination of companies and the government to prohibit unvaccinated people from traveling, going to events or gatherings, or otherwise participating in a free and normal society.
Perhaps more troubling than the ruling class telling Americans they must receive a vaccine in order to participate in normal life is the prospect of the government colluding with

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden claims in his memoir “Beautiful Things” releasing on April 6 that he never committed any wrongdoing “in our political environment” by taking a seat on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
“I did nothing unethical, and have never been charged with wrongdoing,” Biden writes. “In our current political environment, I don’t believe it would make any difference if I took that seat or not. I’d be attacked anyway.(Snip)
Hunter, who is 51-years-old, is correct he has not been charged in regard to his role on the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, but it’s still curious why he was appointed with a salary

Covid cases are falling in Texas, over two weeks after Gov. Greg Abbott (R) lifted restrictions, including the statewide mask mandate, Breitbart reported.
In March, Abbott announced the end of the statewide mask mandate, which had been in effect since July, and lifted restrictions allowing businesses to operate at 100 percent capacity.
“It is time for Texas to be open 100 percent,” the governor said at the time. “Everybody that wants a job should be able to get a job. Every business that wants to be open should be open.”(Snip) recent data out of Texas shows Covid-19 cases have been on a decline over two weeks after the state lifted its

On Wednesday, First Lady Jill Biden will celebrate National Border Control Day.
Well, sort of.
March 31 would have been Cesar Chavez’s 94th birthday, and the president’s wife is scheduled to attend a ceremony honoring the late labor leader at his United Farm Workers union’s first headquarters in California’s Central Valley.
Chavez’s lifelong advocacy for tight borders and against illegal immigration are the reasons his birthday is increasingly celebrated as National Border Control Day. But the first lady isn’t likely to mention any of that, especially given her husband’s responsibility for sparking the current border disaster.
The Left’s inversion of Chavez into a prophet of open borders is the reason the president’s staff strategically

Think about the logical insanity of this position for a moment…. According to the Biden administration the economy is in trouble, people are struggling, and congress needs to spend trillions to bail out state, local and federal governments along with sending income subsidies to all Americans as the economic crisis around COVID continues.Due to policies on energy, regulation and the COVID virus, simultaneously food prices are going higher, fuel prices are up 30 percent, overall energy prices are rising, transportation costs increasing and the inflationary impact on the middle-class is eating up their limited paychecks.
AT THIS EXACT MOMENT the same administration is now proposing a tax increase.

Not an April fool’s joke, but it might as well be. Two media reports [Here and Here] about former VP Mike Pence considering a potential run for President in 2024 present the most laughable political hypothetical in recent memory. Particularly, and specifically, because even President Trump would likely not include Pence in a short list of people for endorsement.“WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Donald Trump recently rattled off the names of those he viewed as future leaders of the Republican Party, including Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Conspicuously absent from the list: Mike Pence.
