I served on active duty in the United States Air Force.
That shouldn’t matter as to whether my opinion on anything related to the military is valid or not, but since some in the military are slamming Tucker Carlson for having an opinion but not having served, I’m establishing that I served. It was in not-war-torn Tokyo, where the most dangerous duty we faced was the city’s maddening traffic, but I served. So there.
Fox host Tucker Carlson recently opined that the United States military seems to have lost its focus in the past couple of months. He noted that it’s now bragging about changing hair standards

A fine, if characteristically low-key, indictment of some of Biden’s worst foibles on COVID messaging to date. You didn’t “inherit a shambles” from Trump’s administration on the vaccination program, McConnell reminds him, which is true. And your aspiration to administer 100 million doses in 100 days is a joke considering that we were already exceeding that pace on some days before you were sworn in, he adds. Again, correctly. That’s Team Joe’s approach to the pandemic in a nutshell, though. Don’t just underpromise and overdeliver, underpromise to a ludicrous degree. The same goes for Biden’s target date of May 1,

A survey by the University of Chicago finds that most Capitol Hill rioters had no ties to any fringe right-wing groups and were engaged people outraged by what they believed was a rigged election.
While colorful weirdos with names such as QAnon Shaman and Baked Alaska stole the headlines, people who were arrested by federal officials during and after the riot were a “broader core of people” with a healthy skepticism about the veracity of the November 2020 election, according to the study. There was plenty of reason for the skepticism, considering the collusion between Big Tech, unions, law fare, and Democrats’ combined efforts to sway the election.

It’s one thing if a single news outlet publishes a fraudulent anonymously sourced “scoop.”
It’s another thing entirely if multiple newsrooms claim to have independently “confirmed” the fraudulent “scoop” with anonymous sources of their own.
The former can reasonably be explained away as a simple error; the latter is not so simple. It's unrealistic so many sources would be wrong about the same thing. It's more likely competing news outlets spoke with the same anonymous individual or individuals, which leads to uncomfortable questions about whether the media were merely fed bad information or were intentionally manipulated.

Late last week after Joe Biden signed the $1.9 trillion Democratic constituency payoff bill disguised as “COVID relief,” most Americans started getting $1,400 payments from Uncle Sam.That doesn’t seem like much money given the fact that tens of millions of Americans suffered lengthy financial hardship over the past year governors shut down their states and as Democrat governors continued to keep their states essentially locked down for months afterward. But even that paltry amount of money will seem even less if Democrats pass Biden’s new tax legislation, which contains the largest increase since 1993.

Last Thursday, President Joe Biden was allowed out of his protective bubble to deliver a nationally televised address to the nation. This was big news in Washington, as Biden has been in hiding since taking office. Normally a new president spends his first few weeks in office making the rounds, chatting with the media, and doing what amounts to a victory lap around Washington. Biden has not done any of that.
Even though the American media is stuffed to the gills with toadies and rumpswabs, there is always the chance one of them accidentally asks him a real question. Worse yet, there is the chance he tries to answer.

If so, the New York Times offers it grudgingly. They acknowledge that Florida’s death rate is no worse than the national average despite the state’s more liberalized approach to pandemic restrictions, which had critics predicting a catastrophe for months. In fact, Florida appears to have fared better than several states that imposed much more draconian lockdowns, although the NYT still casts Florida’s decisions as “an unspoken grand bargain”: To bask in that feeling — even if it is only that — is to ignore the heavy toll the coronavirus exacted in Florida, one that is not yet over.

On Monday, the Vatican reaffirmed the Roman Catholic Church’s 2,000-year-old doctrine that marriage is between one man and one woman and that homosexual acts are illicit. Therefore, the Vatican stated that the church cannot bless same-sex weddings because that would lead to confusion about the doctrine of marriage.
This should not surprise anyone with a basic familiarity with historic Christianity or with the Roman Catholic Church. The New Testament clearly condemns homosexual activity and Jesus explicitly affirmed the teaching of Genesis that marriage is between one man and one woman. The Catholic Church has a 2,000-year tradition of upholding this basic definition of marriage

Mexico continues to struggle with the sharply rising number of migrants turned away at the U.S. southern border, with many claiming they were "promised" by President Biden that they could enter the country.
The increased focus on the border situation has brought journalists to Texas, where the problem is most severe: Migrant camps litter the border, with camps of dozens or hundreds of people who are either waiting to enter the U.S. or were just turned back.
New York Times reporters witnessed a number of incidents where migrants were turned away from the border. Most were in tears, with some saying, "Biden promised us!" as they returned to Mexico.

As two women who have spent our careers in and around politics, we commemorate the role that women from Abigail Adams to Susan B. Anthony have played throughout our nation's political history, and celebrate the increasing number of conservative women elected to office. But when it comes to a resolution the House will soon consider regarding the Equal Rights Amendment, we object to both its unconstitutional process and its harmful, anti-women policies.

A Twitter account for the II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group did an about-face over the weekend, offering an apology for what it previously described as “aggressiveness” in slamming Fox News host Tucker Carlson online. The hoopla began last week when Carlson responded to a speech from President Joe Biden announcing that the U.S. military is designing body armor for women, creating “maternity flight suits” and updating hairstyle requirements.Carlson criticized what he saw as misguided priorities and the left spun that concern into an attack on U.S. servicewomen. Democrats like Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth hit back, as did the Pentagon.

President Joe Biden is planning the first major federal tax hike since 1993 to help pay for the long-term economic program designed as a follow-up to his pandemic-relief bill, according to people familiar with the matter.
Unlike the $1.9 trillion Covid-19 stimulus act, the next initiative, which is expected to be even bigger, won’t rely just on government debt as a funding source. While it’s been increasingly clear that tax hikes will be a component—Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said at least part of the next bill will have to be paid for, and pointed to higher

In December of 2020, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) was allegedly the victim of a cyberattack as they were reviewing documents received from Pfizer regarding their mRNA COVID vaccine trials in preparation for issuing emergency use approval for the vaccine in Europe. More than 40 megabytes of classified information was allegedly published on the dark web, and sent to several journalists, including The BMJ which just published a review of the leaked documents last week. One of the key issues revealed in the leaked documents, according to The BMJ, was that European regulators had major concerns over unexpectedly low quantities of intact mRNA in batches of the vaccine developed for commercial production. Some batches were as low as only 55% intact. CORRECTION*

As New York's Gov. Andrew Cuomo politically immolates in sex-harassment allegations, one guy who's got to be uncomfortable about the entire wretched specter is Gropey Joe Biden.
Slow Joe's narrative-makers have finally let him come out of his shell with this ridiculous punt of a response:
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden on Sunday passed up an opportunity to join other Democrats calling for the resignation of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is under investigation after multiple allegations of sexual harassment.Asked by a reporter if Cuomo should resign, Biden responded, “I think the investigation is underway and we should see what it brings us.”

Friday, Tucker Carlson kicked off a firestorm.
His monologue focused n the barking shambles that Joe Biden has made of the Department of Defense in less than two months.
His theme was the degree to which the Biden bunch is focusing on making the military a test bed for woke orthodoxy and putting combat readiness, particularly readiness to confront Joe Biden’s paymasters in Beijing, in its rearview mirror. He took, as a point of departure, Biden’s mumblings on the occasion of “International Women’s Day.” Carlson’s strongest point was directed at Biden’s decision to appoint a secretary of defense who is not only beholden to the defense industry but a rabid partisan

Traditional American values have long been under attack by social justice warriors, cultural Marxists advancing the insidious tenets of critical theory. Their “long march through the institutions” has infiltrated schools, universities, entertainment, the mass media, the courts, politics, and beyond. One might assume that business, adhering to the Milton Friedman doctrine of maximizing returns for shareholders, would be insulated from their malign agenda. But that assumption...

Fox News host Laura Ingraham laced President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci during her Friday opening monologue for their continued reliance on COVID-19 restrictions even though they have proven to be failures.
“Every day we wake up, and it seems like another constitutional right is under threat,” Ingraham began. “The First Amendment, the Second Amendment, even the Fourth Amendment.”
She went on to say that many Americans are self-censoring “because they’re afraid of the consequences” of speaking out and sharing their own opinions that may run counter to government narratives and cultural groupthink regarding the pandemic and other issues.

President Biden fired Equal Employment Opportunity Commission general counsel Sharon Fast Gustafson on Friday after she declined to resign under pressure from the White House.
“At the time I was nominated, I was asked if I would commit to do my best to fulfill my four-year term, and I answered yes,” Gustafson said in a letter to Biden. “Unless prevented from doing so, I intend to honor that commitment. I have confidently given this advice to countless embattled clients of the last 25 years: hold your head high, do your best work, and do not resign under pressure. In solidarity with them, I will follow that advice.”

Sharon Osbourne has long been the beloved, straight-shooting counterpart to Ozzy Osbourne’s craziness. That all last week when Osbourne dared to say that people have the right to different opinions and should be allowed to express those opinions without being canceled. For this heresy, Osbourne is about to be canceled. It began when Piers Morgan said that he did not believe Meghan Markel’s claims that the royal family ignored her suicidal feelings and were racist toward her son.

Pollster Scott Rasmussen recently came up with an interesting finding. His poll showed that almost the exact same percentage of Americans think Hillary Clinton had the election stolen from her as think Donald Trump suffered the same fate in 2020.
So why is it that Democrats never get attacked for being seditionists?
Rasmussen (who founded but is no longer with the Rasmussen Reports polling firm) surveyed 1,200 registered voters, asking who they believe were the legitimate winners of the 2016 and 2020 elections.
What he found was that 52% of Democrats continue to believe that Clinton was the actual winner

This writer knows a leftwing corporate lawyer who sees our society as top-heavy with a rich, exploitative class drinking glasses of champagne while there are millions of starving children in America, millions of homeless in the streets, degradation and hopelessness everywhere based on economic deprivation as well as racist, sexist, and moral rigidity.... To him, there are too many Marie Antoinette types laughing in their palaces saying to the miserable masses, "Let them eat cake...." In his mind, most of those laughing are Republicans with a few Democrats thrown into this heartless, capitalist mix. He is obsessed with the “heartless” top 1% or .1%

Donald Trump made a surprise stop at campaign event for former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she runs for Arkansas governor. Sanders, whose father Mike Huckabee served as the 44th Governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, had announced her campaign in January. 'Great weekend on the campaign trail featuring a surprise appearance at one of my events by President Trump!' she tweeted Sunday night with a photo of her and Trump. It was not immediately clear where and when the fundraising event was held and who else attended.

It is no accident that Joe Biden has not given a State of the Union address or had a press conference since his inauguration. He is simply not mentally capable of doing either. I predict that Kamala Harris will become president of the United States before the end of the year, pursuant to the 25th Amendment. The amendment was ratified by the states in 1967. A review of its provisions is in order.Amendment XXV -Section 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

Many politicians at one point or another live by lies—if they can get away with them. Our supposed sentinels, the media—self-defined as independent, cynical, and skeptical journalists—are supposed to separate political fictions from truth. Legends As Facts -Of course, sometimes they used to do that—if only selectively. There were Communist sympathizers in the Roosevelt Administration and holdovers in the 1950s deep state. But the Red Peril was not always what the demagogic Joe McCarthy claimed when shaking his lengthy, indiscriminate “lists” of “commie” names and crimes. Once U.S. Army counsel Joseph Welch, Edward R. Murrow, and assorted journalists began to demand proof of all of McCarthy’s charges,

Based on everything we know about New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's psyche, it's impossible to imagine him resigning unless he knows he has no way out. The only Democratic figure who could plausibly persuade Cuomo to resign is President Biden.
The big picture: Unlike many of his other Democratic critics, Cuomo respects and likes Biden. The two men have had good relations — during the transition, there was even (far-fetched) talk that the governor would be considered as Biden's attorney general.
