The Telegraph reported the change comes amid heightened global tensions following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other officials during a recent conflict. Two Senate committees have obtained records from the Justice Department that show the government possessed evidence of potential prostitution-related crimes related to former first son Hunter Biden.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson had requested the records from the Justice Department in 2022, pursuant to their investigation into alleged corrupt acts and conflicts of interest by members of the Biden family. Those requests were not answered at the time.
