Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on an investors’ call Tuesday that his time as a full-time employee of the Department of Government Efficiency is coming to a close.
“The large slug of work necessary to get the DOGE team in place and working in the government to get the financial house in order is mostly done, and I think, starting probably next month — May — my time allocation to DOGE will drop significantly,” he said.
“I’ll have to continue doing it for probably the remainder of the President [Donald Trump]’s term, just to make sure that the waste and fraud

Warning: What I'm about to write may shock you, but I felt our readers needed to know exactly what kind of person Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump, truly is. You might want to make sure you're sitting down for this.
Last week, the first daughter took a vacation and spent time with her husband and children and some of her husband's family. Not only did they take a vacation, but they took it in Costa Rica, and they actually enjoyed themselves. They surfed, read books, rode horses, explored the beautiful nature the country has to offer... they even swam next to a waterfall.

The U.S. Supreme Court, following its shocking decision to block the Trump administration from deporting terrorist illegal alien gang members more quickly, has just issued another decision favoring illegals.
Today, the court, according to Newsweek, “ruled that immigrants who agree to leave the U.S. voluntarily are entitled to deadline flexibility when the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday.” Because obviously illegal aliens who should never have been here to begin with deserve all the consideration in the world when authorities are kicking them out in line with the law, federal orders, and the will of We the People.

Sen. Peter Welch (D., Vt.) visited detained Columbia University activist Mohsen Mahdawi on Monday, calling him a "friend" and praising his work with "Jewish brothers and sisters" on Columbia's campus. In the wake of Oct. 7, Mahdawi said he could "empathize" with Hamas's decision to launch the attack and used a siren to drown out pro-Israel students protesting for the release of Israeli child hostages.
Mahdawi, who, like fellow Columbia activist Mahmoud Khalil, saw the Trump administration revoke his green card, is at an immigration facility in Vermont as he fights his deportation. Welch released a video of their Monday meeting at the facility, during which he described Mahdawi

A former FBI analyst who resigned over FBI Director Kash Patel and President Donald Trump announced he was running for Congress on Tuesday.
John Sullivan is challenging New York Republican Rep. Michael Lawler for New York’s 17th Congressional District.
“For 17 years, I served in secret, protecting us from threats like Russia, foreign terrorists and drug cartels, and eventually the insurrectionists who stormed our Capitol,” Sullivan wrote online. “Now, I’m stepping out of the shadows to run for Congress.”

The U.S. Army formalized equal fitness standards between men and women in combat roles in new guidelines released Monday.
The new Army Fitness Test (AFT), formally the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), will not have separate standards for men and women in combat Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), according to the Army. The new standards will begin the first stage of implementation on June 1 with a projected completion by January 2026.
However, the general test that includes non-combat roles will retain gender-specific guidelines, according to the Army.
“The change reflects the Army’s continued focus on building a physically ready force capable of meeting operational demands in austere environments,”

The Supreme Court ruled that weekends and holidays cannot be counted when foreign nationals are given deadlines to leave the United States.
In a split 5-4 decision, a majority of justices on the nation’s highest court ruled in favor of Hugo Abisai Monsalvo Velazquez, a Mexican national who had been living unlawfully in the U.S. for years and ordered deported. Velazquez successfully argued that his 60-day notice to leave the country — which ended on a Saturday — should have provided more flexibility for weekends and holidays.

The dye is cast
Eight harmful petroleum-based synthetic dyes will soon be phased out of the American food supply, according to plans unveiled Tuesday by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary.
Over the coming months, the FDA will revoke authorization for two synthetic food colorings — Citrus Red No. 2 and Orange B — and collaborate with the food industry to remove six other synthetic dyes.
“For the last 50 years, American children have increasingly been living in a toxic soup of synthetic chemicals,” Makary declared during the announcement at HHS Tuesday.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) unleashed unprecedented criminal charges against members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, invoking a law that is best known for its use against the mafia in the fight against the foreign terror organization.
Attorney General Pam Bondi and Matthew Podolsky, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that it charged a total of 27 current and former Tren de Aragua members under the Racketeering Influence and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) for the first time ever, marking a new development in how the federal government prosecutes the cartels.
The indictment, Bondi says, will decimate the criminal network’s infrastructure.

Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky., is officially entering the race to replace longtime retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
Barr, who has served in the House for over a decade, is expected to kick off his campaign in Richmond, Kentucky this evening.
He's also releasing a video to launch the campaign that paints him as a staunch ally of President Donald Trump and a fierce opponent of "woke" trends on diversity, transgender inclusion, and U.S. energy dominance.
"The United States is the greatest country on Earth, and it’s not even close. But here’s the problem. The woke left wants to neuter America – literally," the Kentucky Republican said in the video.

A jury found The New York Times not liable Tuesday after former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin claimed she was defamed by a 2017 editorial falsely tying her to a mass shooting.
The nine-person jury deliberated in Manhattan federal court for two hours before finding that the Grey Lady did not libel the onetime Republican vice presidential candidate.
The Times, which corrected the editorial the day after it ran, had argued that Palin did not show that it met the high bar of “actual malice” needed to find media outlets liable for defamation.

A federal judge on Tuesday found the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle Voice of America (VOA) and affiliated news services likely were unlawful, indefinitely blocking the shuttering of the government-funded news outlet and affiliated news services.
U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ordered VOA’s parent agency, the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), to restore VOA and other outlets under the USAGM’s umbrella and barred the agency from preventing them from serving as “consistently reliable and authoritative” news sources, as is required by law.
He also directed the USAGM to restore employment to its workers placed on leave
