One of U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's leading advisers, Dan Caldwell, was escorted from the Pentagon on Tuesday after being identified during an investigation into leaks at the Department of Defense, a U.S. official told Reuters.
Caldwell was placed on administrative leave for "an unauthorized disclosure," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The decision has not been previously reported. "The investigation remains ongoing," the official said without providing details about the nature of the alleged disclosure, including whether it was made to a journalist or to someone else.

As Democrats continue to whine and engage in histrionics over the Trump administration’s efforts to repatriate violent illegal aliens to their home countries, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has tuned out the noise and stayed busy getting hardened criminals off our streets. On Tuesday, the White House issued a statement describing some of these individuals, and many of their crimes are horrific. They’d still be prowling our cities if it were up to the Democrats:
Brutal killers and rapists— all taken off our streets in just the past week thanks to the tireless work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

California Democrat Rep. Laura Friedman has admitted House Democrats are coordinating every single week with far-left state attorneys general to weaponize the justice system against President Trump and his America First agenda.
Speaking to voters, Friedman bragged that House Democrats have established a so-called “litigation working group,” aka “shadow government,” comprised of approximately 75 sitting members of Congress who gather behind closed doors every week to craft legal strategies in conjunction with state AGs — the same AGs who have brought politically motivated lawsuits and investigations against Trump, his businesses, his allies, and his policies.

President Trump’s job approval rating has surged to its highest number since he was inaugurated in January.
Currently, Trump’s job approval rating sits at 54 percent, with only 46 percent disapproving. This ties his all-time high this year (in this poll) and is a five-point boost in approval since late March. This poll of 1,002 registered voters was taken between April 10-14, the days during the so-called stock market turmoil after the president instituted the tariff increases he ran on, which appear to have brought dozens of countries to the negotiating table.

First, there were Marxists. The Marxists got a bad reputation for destroying economies. Seems the approach of taking from people in accordance with their ability to give, and giving to people in accordance with their ability to take, sounded nice but didn’t work well.
So, they rebranded to “communists,” as in community-ists. Everyone likes a community, right?
Same result, this time at the point of a gun. And murdering 100 million people in the “community” didn’t help their reputation.

U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Arizona, has introduced legislation he says will save lives and protect communities from gun violence while protecting Americans’ constitutional right to own a firearm.
Gun rights groups said the legislative proposal is clearly unconstitutional.
The GOSAFE Act would regulate the sale, transfer and manufacture of gas-operated semi-automatic firearms by establishing a list of prohibited firearms and prevent the unlawful modification of permissible firearms.
Moreover, Kelly wants to mandate that future gas-operated designs are approved before they are manufactured. Unlawful firearm self-assembly and manufacturing would be prevented under his bill. Machine gun conversion devices would be prohibited.

Schmitt wrote that while “81%” of Americans celebrate Easter, “our current holiday schedule makes it way too difficult for families to celebrate together.” Easter falls on the longest unbroken schedule of workdays, Schmitt wrote, with March and April being the only back-to-back months without a holiday.

Pelosi’s angels.
Democrats have a long history of defending violent, illegal alien gangbangers.
Former Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi defended MS-13 in 2018 saying they were “God’s children…” and, “There’s a spark of divinity in every person.”
MS13’s motto is, “Kill, rape, control.”
That won’t keep Democrats from defending this brutal and evil multi-national gang.
On Monday, Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries once again came unglued and vowed to defend the illegal alien, MS-13 gangbangers.
Democrats are VERY upset that an illegal alien MS-13 gangbanger was returned to El Salvador. And Democrats were absolutely outraged that the Salvadoran President said he will NOT return the dangerous illegal alien gangbanger back to the US.

On March 24, anti-Jewish protesters showed up at Columbia University chanting, “Long live the intifada.” Many were wearing masks, and speakers urged students to follow suit. But wearing a mask while protesting has been illegal in New York City since 1845. It was later used to combat the Ku Klux Klan. Today, it is invoked to combat supporters of left-wing pro-Hamas terrorists.
It is easy to understand why the pro-Hamas gang likes to wear a mask: they want to conceal their identity from the police. But what explains why those on the left are fond of wearing a mask for alleged health reasons?

The Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing another high schooler at a track meet was released from jail Monday after posting a reduced $250,000 bond and will remain on house arrest until his trial.
A judge in Collin County slashed the 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony’s initial $1 million bond and said he may await trial at home with an ankle monitor and 24-hour supervision from his parents or an “adult designee.”
Anthony has been locked in Collin County Jail for allegedly stabbing Austin Metcalf, also 17, in the heart during a fight over a seat at a track meet on April 2. He is charged with first-degree murder.

The Trump White House is planning “extraordinary” celebrations for Holy Week, packed full with events to honor the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus.
According to reports, the White House Faith Office is leading the charge on this week’s events, which will include a video message from the president, a pre-Easter dinner, and a White House staff Easter service. Fox News Digital reports that the dinner will be attended by many Christian faith leaders and feature Christian opera singer Charles Billingsley. Additionally, the staff worship service — slated to be held on Thursday — will feature Rev. Franklin Graham.

After Trump’s exchange with Kaitlin Collins of CNN today, he suggested that CNN hates our country. Every Trump supporter knows why he said this. Almost everyone on that network is anti-Trump and anti-Trump supporters.
When CNN cut back to the studio, it was absolutely clear that host Dana Bash was not happy about Trump’s comments and she addressed them while looking visibly bothered and frustrated.
The truth hurts sometimes.
The Hill reported:
CNN anchor Dana Bash rebuked President Trump after he suggested on Monday the cable news network is withholding positive information about his administration from the public out of hatred.

When President Donald Trump honored the Christian celebration of Holy Week before Easter, he took a striking stand against the spiritual atrophy consuming much of Western civilization. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom’s leaders celebrated a pagan holiday instead of Palm Sunday. [Snip] But in the United Kingdom, King Charles III--the head of the Church of England, and “defender of the faith”--apparently failed to even issue a statement for Holy Week or Palm Sunday, according to a search of his social media pages... [Snip] While King Charles III neglected Christianity, Trump asked for God to pour out the blessings of divine providence upon America.

I’m often darkly amused by common examples of inherently false nomenclature: “Jumbo shrimp.” “Government ethics.” “Unbiased news media.”
And one of our society’s biggest falsehoods-in-a-name: “Non-governmental organizations.”
Until recently these groups have been widely seen as international, idealized versions of domestic non-profits.
We thought of them as do-good organizations set up by people who really care — about the environment, or poor people, or children, or freedom. We imagined they raise money, help the downtrodden, send out press releases and engage in other private activities to promote the causes they favor. They’re not government entities, we thought

The New York Times hates Donald Trump, in part because of his “nativism.” He doesn’t appreciate the wonderful things the Chinese have done for us. He even went so far as to suggest that covid might have originated in a Chinese laboratory! And he has imposed tariffs on Chinese goods, a retrograde, far-right policy–even if tariffs were formerly recommended by the Times’s own Democrats.
But a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, and, as we all know, the Timesmen have big brains. Thus today’s headline:
The paper’s lack of self-awareness is stunning. Suddenly, Chinese imports are a perfectly understandable threat
