Rosie O’Donnell said she never thought President Donald Trump would win another election, and lamented over her Irish citizenship application having not yet been approved.
“I never thought he would win again,” O’Donnell told the New York Times of President Trump, adding that she told her therapist, “If he does [win], I’m going to move,” recalling that her therapist had replied, “Well, let’s make a real plan.”
Now, O’Donnell may feel herself losing to Trump in another roundabout way, as her Irish citizenship has not yet been officially approved, the comedian told the newspaper, adding that she was worried about admitting that to a reporter, fearing it could impact the process.

Embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James is hitting up supporters for big bucks just days after the Trump administration accused her of alleged fraud involving several homes she owns.
The money bid is in the form of an invitation to an event on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. calling for contributions starting at $500 and climbing to an eye-popping $18,000, the maximum allowed by New York law, in support of her 2026 re-election bid.
The invite features a photo of James framed by a circular gay pride flag. (Photo) The high-dollar fundraiser will be hosted at the home of left-wing activists Rod Grozier and Rob Smith, the latter of whom

The Democrat senator who traveled to El Salvador to meet with a deported illegal migrant and alleged MS-13 member was seen drinking what appeared to be margaritas, infuriating many online.
Chris Van Hollen, the junior senator from Maryland, met Thursday in El Salvador with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man who was sent there by the Trump administration in March despite an immigration court order preventing his deportation.
But it was his decision to sip margaritas with Abrego Garcia, as El Salvador´s President Nayib Bukele put it, that caused a wave of outrage.

You might have thought that Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) would be back by now after he got rejected from seeing or talking with El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador.
That would have been smart. But he appears to still be there and still grandstanding. After being told bluntly by the Central American nation's vice president that the senator wasn't going to be able to get in to see Garcia at CECOT, it looks like Van Hollen decided to go there anyway to try to get in.
It didn't go well. He says he was stopped by soldiers.

Houseguests and fish begin to smell after three days, as the saying goes. But ex-presidents who stay in Washington, D.C., reek almost immediately.
In the history of the republic, former presidents have had the decency to get out of town rather than loom over their successor. The two exceptions appear to be Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama. Wilson, however, has the excuse that he was practically bedridden and expired within three years. Obama has no excuse at all.

It’s not just Biden family artwork that’s struggling to sell these days.
Former President Joe Biden’s attempt to bill $300,000 per speaking appearance is finding few takers, The Post has learned — as some of his own former aides say it’s time for the 82-year-old to leave the spotlight for good after reminiscing about “colored kids” Tuesday in his first public address since leaving office.
A source familiar with Biden’s faltering speaking career said that the 46th president’s standard pitch is $300,000 — 25% below Barack Obama’s $400,000 asking price upon leaving office in 2017.
It’s unclear how negotiable Biden’s rate is.

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has called on “Americans of conscience” to stand against the deportation of MS-13 gang member and illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Abrego Garcia, of El Salvador, was deported on March 15, 2025, to his home country’s Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT). He had been illegally living in Maryland for nearly 15 years.
In May 2021, Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, was granted a temporary protective order against him after she alleged he was subjecting her to domestic violence — including beating, scratching, and punching her.

I don't know who thinks it's a good idea that Joe Biden wants to come " back" and get more involved again. You would think his handlers would have sense and just say "Enough" and time for retirement. We're already seeing how badly the "coming back" is working out: making weird remarks about "colored kids," confusing Ukraine and Iraq, and even dropping his ice cream on the ground. But if you thought that was already nuts, you ain't heard nothing yet. Guess how much Joe Biden (or his handlers) wants you to pay him if you book him to make a speech and stumble through a few remarks?

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) has endorsed Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s (D-MD) trip to El Salvador to ensure that an accused MS-13 gang member illegal alien is “brought back home to Maryland” after he was deported in March.
Instead of doing the job his constituents elected him to do in Washington, DC, the left-wing senator has taken time off to go on a trip to El Salvador “to discuss the release” of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who illegally entered the United States and lived in Maryland until his arrest by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE):

PBS receives roughly 15 percent of its $373 million operating budget from the federal government. In addition to its member stations and on-demand streaming shows, some of the money goes to Independent Lens, the weekly series through which PBS airs documentary films. They often have to do with racism.
The 2022 Independent Lens flick Racist Trees, for example, chronicles a black neighborhood in the overwhelmingly liberal "LGBTQ haven" of Palm Springs, Calif. The neighborhood's residents feel that a "wall of trees" that lines a nearby golf course was "intentionally planted to exclude and segregate" the neighborhood, and want the trees removed.
"They say that these trees are not racially

A pair of earthshattering, history-altering, Chris Christie-sized stories broke this week, but they’ve (mostly) skated beneath the political periphery. That’s because you can’t grasp the sheer enormity of the consequences until you connect them together.
On their own, they’re inconsequential, back-of-the-page news stories — scarcely soliciting a shoulder shrug from political wonks. But together, as a one-two punch, it will change American politics forever.
And it will murder the modern Democratic Party. There’s been a slow-moving coup… but nobody’s noticed!
It’s tied to the larger political realignment nationally:

New York Attorney General Letitia James’s mortgage fraud problems just got even bigger, and may now include the possible breaking of campaign disclosure laws.
Questions are now being raised about a foreclosure sale in December 2008 that involved James as a purchaser. Documents show her name appearing on the “Final Foreclosure Accounting” for the purchase of a single-family home at 21 Peters Street in Martinsville, Virginia.
Two other names appear on the same document as additional purchasers, Johnsie Finney and Philip Finney. Interestingly, James’s first named is misspelled as “Letitua.” One has to wonder whether this misspelling was intended to make the transaction harder to track.
Comments:
Pew found they are mostly Democrats. I could have save them the effort.
