I never figured I'd see there be building tensions between the United States and Europe, but here we are.
To be fair, though, there should have been tensions a long time ago. After all, while many European nations like to consider themselves free societies, they're nothing of the sort. For example, gun rights are all but nonexistent for most people there. That's been the case for a long time.
But now, we're seeing that our European "allies" aren't on the same page elsewhere.
Famously, 60 Minutes did a segment where they followed German law enforcement as they kicked in doors over memes.

You’ve likely heard the phrase, “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Seems like good advice, especially when the hole is of your own making. But watching the Democratic Party’s ongoing meltdown—highlighted by their most recent “off the rails” DNC meeting—it’s clear they’ve lost the shovel, the ladder, and the will to climb out.
Let’s be clear: it’s not hard to fix the Democratic Party’s problems. They know exactly what’s broken. They just don’t want to fix it.
Instead of offering ideas, vision, and solutions, they’ve tripled down on their Trump Derangement Syndrome. A recent DNC event—meant to be a serious discussion of strategy and policy—

The radical left has a pathological hatred of Elon Musk for having the audacity to want to clean up waste and fraud in government. By now, you’ve heard about how these unhinged leftists have taken their hatred of Elon Musk to a criminal level, firebombing Tesla dealerships and vandalizing Tesla vehicles they happen to come across in public. These vandals are learning the hard way that attacking vehicles equipped with 360-degree surveillance cameras isn't exactly a genius move.
A couple of recent examples have me wondering if these lunatics are the dumbest criminals.

But Carson, 50, apparently has no qualms — at least until The Post inquired — about cruising around in one of Musk’s Teslas.
The latest House disbursement records show Carson claimed almost $11,000 of public money last year to pay Tesla Finance LLC for the lease of one of its cars.
Carson was one of more than 40 lawmakers last year who made use of a green scheme that allows them to access public money to lease a vehicle for use in their constituency so long as it is listed by the Environmental Protection Agency as a “low greenhouse gas emitting vehicle,” the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Democrats calling for the resignation of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth got more fodder for their demands when a major media outlet dropped a story that he brought his wife to “sensitive” meetings, adding fuel to the “Signalgate” fire.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Jennifer Hegseth attended a March 6 “high level meeting” with her husband and U.K. Secretary of Defense John Healey, a day after the U.S. said it would suspend sharing intelligence with Ukraine in NATO’s proxy war on Russia. According to the outlet, Mrs. Hegseth also attended a NATO meeting during a trip to Brussels in February,

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is known for steering clear of the traditional, somber attire expected in Washington, DC, playing the suit game by his own rules. But he's also got a second kind of unconventional look — operator casual. It's a different vibe from the conspicuously bright blue suit he wore at the recent NATO summit, drawing criticism, but it shares some similarities to some of his other preferred flair, like flag-linings in his suits, patriotic socks, and a star-spangled pocket square. The style gained momentum during the Global War on Terrorism, or GWOT, though earlier versions date back to

It seems that Ukrainian Leader Volodymyr Zelensky has decided on a path that’ll send him clashing with US President Donald J. Trump and his administration.
Besides repeatedly breaching the Trump-brokered partial ceasefire on energy and infrastructure, Zelensky has now made a TV statement that contains at least two very controversial points.
First, he again stated that the hundreds of billions of dollars in US aid to the Kiev regime were NOT ‘loans’, but rather, donations – despite the fact that nothing was ever registered as such.
Secondly, he alerted that Ukraine will NOT sign the reworked rare-earth/mineral exploration deal,

Federal data shows that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has nearly 50,000 detainees as President Trump’s policy of mass deportation of criminal illegals continues.
It is ten thousand more than Joe Biden’s high of nearly 40,000 detentions. Federal data shows that detentions had reached to 47,892 detainees as of March 23. The number exceeds the 39,703 reached during the Biden years. It isn’t yet as high as the 60,000 reached during the first Trump term, but it seems clear that record will be broken.
These are the highest numbers in five years, and it is likely they will soar even higher after proposed additional funding comes through,

President Donald Trump ended federal DEI programs. The problem is that DEI programs were captured by activists who obsess about victimhood. They divide people more than they empower.
“Diversity, equity and inclusion,” says activist Robby Starbuck, “don’t mean what they pretend to mean.”
Before Trump ended federal DEI programs by executive order, Starbuck ended them at some companies merely by using the power of speech.
Even before, companies were having second thoughts.
Victoria’s Secret changed “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” to “inclusion and belonging.”Now, even woke Disney, despite squandering 270 million shareholder dollars on a moronic new version of “Snow White,” joined the mob of companies dropping DEI programs.

The Democratic Party is polling about 27 percent approval -- and sinking.
In 2024, it lost the White House, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and both the popular vote and the Electoral College, 312-226.
In 2024, Donald Trump won over 46% of the Hispanic vote, including a majority of Hispanic men. Trump also likely captured 26% of the Black male vote, doubling his 2020 total.
In 2024, Trump increased his 2020 vote total in every single state. And he won 89% of all the counties in the United States. On every issue, Democrats sided with strident leftist movements rather than the majority of Americans.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had a little fun at the expense of West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey (R), casually suggesting he could lose a few pounds. RFK delivered the tough love message at an event in Martinsburg, West Virginia, on Friday.
"The first time I saw him, I said, 'You look like you ate Governor Morrisey,'" he said, eliciting laughter from the crowd as Morrisey sat just outside of camera view to his left.
Kennedy then said he would get Morrisey into shape as his personal trainer. And as any good personal trainer would do, he warned of public shaming if the governor didn't adhere to

Counter-protests organized by Trump supporters are expected at several of the anti-Elon Musk “Tesla Takedown Global Day of Action” protests at Tesla dealerships across the country on Saturday.
Democratic Party politicians and progressive activists are trying to ruin Musk’s electric vehicle business over his leadership of DOGE, President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency aimed at reforming and streamlining the federal government.
A Trump supporter in Columbus, Ohio is organizing a peaceful counter-protest Saturday afternoon starting at 4 p.m. at the Tesla dealership in the Easton shopping district in suburban Columbus.

Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff was so “sheltered” by her stepmom’s failed presidential campaign that when she volunteered, staffers pre-screened her cold calls to make sure no one said anything mean to her.
“They set me up for positive calls because they didn’t want someone to know they were talking to me and then say some absolutely heinous stuff,” Emhoff, 25, dished during an episode of the “Girls Rewatch” podcast.
The lefty activist daughter of former second gentleman Doug Emhoff admitted cold-calling was “intimidating,” and lamented that other Harris volunteers would be asked questions such as, “Who’s the man behind this?”

May your enemies lack common sense, self-awareness, and the ability to learn from their mistakes or recognize their own interests.
If Confucius did not say anything quite like that, he should have.
In a clip posted Friday to the social media platform X, Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, the comically overmatched and often creepy 2024 running mate to former Vice President Kamala Harris, told what looked like a small gathering of supporters that Democrats needed to form a “shadow government” in response to President Donald Trump’s administration.
“We see one of the first things they do is try and restrict the vote,”

We write quite a bit about the irrepressible Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) here, not just because he's an incredibly knowledgeable person and solid conservative but also because of his wit and wisdom, both of which are in short supply in Washington, DC these days. He also comes across as a genuinely good and sincere guy, something else you don't see much of anymore among the power players on Capitol Hill.
For instance, on Valentine's Day, a short, sweet, and to-the-point classic Kennedy video resurfaced on social media, showing him cleaning a gun and talking about love.
The message? "Folks, I believe that love is the answer, but you oughta own a handgun

SALT LAKE CITY—Utah became the first state to prohibit flying LGBTQ+ pride flags at schools and all government buildings after the Republican governor announced he was allowing a ban on unsanctioned flag displays to become law without his signature.
Gov. Spencer Cox, who made the announcement late Thursday night, said he continues to have serious concerns with the policy but chose not to reject it because his veto would likely be overridden by the Republican-controlled Legislature.
Starting May 7, state or local government buildings will be fined $500 a day for flying any flag other than the United States flag,

President Trump doesn't shy away from media questions, no matter how difficult they might be. You won't hear him deliver responses in political-speak. And you won't hear him say he'll address the matter after speaking to his aides. He's very upfront and, unlike his political adversaries, talks like a normal human being.
But when a reporter on Friday asked him the one question that has confounded countless Democrats, media members, college students, and even one Supreme Court Justice, all one could do was hold their breath.
Would he be able to answer? Or would he get tripped up like so many before him?
"What is a woman?" one reporter wondered.

A still-grieving mom whose daughter was allegedly raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant ripped the judges who put the brakes on President Trump’s deportation flights — and their Democrat enablers who’d rather “harbor” criminals than protect victims.
Patty Morin’s daughter, Rachel, a 37-year-old mother-of-five, was found dumped in a drain near a scenic trail in Maryland 18 months ago and an illegal immigrant from El Salvador has been charged with her murder. His trial is due to start with jury selection Tuesday.
Morin, 64, insisted this week to The Post the deportations must continue — and said she’s solidly in Trump’s corner as he takes the fight to the courts

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard has revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, as well as clearances and access to classified information for Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and more.
Gabbard made the call per President Donald Trump’s March 22 memorandum stating that it is “no longer in the national interest” to have those individuals, as well as several formerly high-ranking Biden administration officials, family members, and other figures, to have classified material.

Elon Musk has a lot to worry about. He has 13 children. He is the CEO and founder of numerous companies, most famously of course SpaceX and Tesla. He just helped rescue two astronauts from the International Space Station. Meanwhile he’s head honcho at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and is in charge of trimming the fat and fraud from the bloated, behemoth federal government.
Whoa. That’s a lot. Even with all that to think about, however, Musk has two worries above all others, and the first one is the declining global birth rate:

Chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) ) has publicly accused NBC of withholding critical evidence in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
During a recent interview on Fox News, Rep. Luna claimed that an unreleased video, which allegedly depicts Lee Harvey Oswald away from the infamous Texas School Book Depository at the time of Kennedy’s assassination, is in the possession of NBC News.
According to Rep. Luna, this video shows Oswald near JFK’s limousine when the shots were fired in Dallas, a claim that, if verified,

When a tiny band of self-proclaimed satanists announced they would hold a “black mass” in front of the Kansas State Capitol, they wanted to inflame Christians. And they did, but it was not with the type of fire they intended. They managed to galvanize thousands of Christians with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Across the state, Catholics and their fellow Christians spent more time praying on Friday than they would have normally. Special masses and holy hours were held in Catholic churches in every corner of Kansas in reparation for the sacrilege planned at the Capitol.

Billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk has drawn the ire of Democrats due to his role in the Trump administration‘s efforts to cut waste in the federal government, with some New York lawmakers targeting his company with a new piece of legislation. Tesla has been the target of protests and attacks from Democrats in recent months as their opposition to Musk has intensified. In the New York legislature, Democratic state Sen. Patricia Fahy introduced legislation Wednesday that would take away Tesla’s permits to run five showrooms in the state and open it up to other electric vehicle manufacturers seeking to sell

California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a "consumer alert" in the wake of its bankruptcy regarding the "trove of sensitive consumer data 23andMe has amassed." Bonta reminded Californians that they have the right to direct the company to delete their genetic data.
What about individual data is so important? Why should people worry that they’ve left a spot of saliva as a DNA sequence in some company database? Surely they are just a drop of water in an endless sea. But as the forensic DNA revolution showed, even drops in the ocean can be told apart. Perhaps our attitude to individual inconsequence has changed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a Friday press conference that he won't recognize past US military aid as loans, after Washington sent a new draft of the minerals deal to Kiev. "Ukraine received a new agreement project from the U.S. regarding mineral resources, which is an entirely different document from the previous framework agreement," said Zelensky, adding "Ukraine will not recognize U.S. military aid as debt."
"We are grateful for the support, but this is not a credit, and we will not allow it," Zelensky continued. The Ukrainian president also said that they are unwilling to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin "or with someone who would represent Russia,"

It was the perfect opening. Politically, it was the equivalent of grilling a big, fat, juicy steak in the middle of the African savannah — and then being mystified by the sudden appearance of drooling predators.
C’mon, folks — use your heads! With a power vacuum that big and that tempting, it was only a matter of time.
The Democratic Party is in total disarray. Nobody’s in charge! The Obama-Biden cabal has left the building, Pelosi has health issues, and Schumer is struggling to stave off a rebellion. It’s complete and utter chaos.

This Bret Baier sit-down with the entire DOGE team, fearless leader and all, is really something to behold. All I can say is it's a shame there's not another venue besides Fox because it will also be ignored because of Fox and the ideological purity of the opposition.
What a tragedy that is, for surely among those who reflexively scoff, there are a few who still retain some reasoning faculties that could be activated if only one's information can access them.
The entire thirty minutes is here when you have time. But I want to hit the highlights if you haven't seen them, so that you're aware, amazed at

Late last night, President Trump signed an executive order "to end collective bargaining with Federal unions" at more than two dozen government agencies. In theory this puts an end to collective bargaining for more than half of all federal workers.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday evening abolishing union rights at more than two dozen federal agencies and offices, in a major expansion of the administration’s efforts to shrink the federal government.
The White House cited national security concerns for terminating workers’ ability to bargain collectively, but the order applies at agencies with both direct and indirect links to national security.

Every day, I read something new and even more ghastly about what's going on in German 'democracy' since the 'national election.' And every time, all I can think is thank GOD those men 250 years ago put the wheels in motion to set up our system the way they did, vice a standard European parliamentary government.
We have had our share of sneks, crooks, authoritarians, and mushrooms aplenty, Lord knows.
But watching the coalescing of forces in the newly seated German government move against their legally elected opposition and against the express will of voters is a sight to behold.
Terrifying to think how close we came to it here -
