The Moral Hazard Of Illegal Immigration

The U.S. border was illicitly crossed fewer times last month than in any February in the country’s history. There were 28,654 encounters and apprehensions of illegals reported nationwide. For those who might see border security, and deportations, as cruel acts against the poor and hopeless who want only to escape to a land of plenty, we offer another way of looking at illegal immigration. It's basic economics that cannot be escaped. That is why jealous and lazy socialists hate it. People have to be allowed to and expected to pay their own way.. Look at the article about Canada. That country would cease to exist without the US taxpayer. And yet they believe they are entitled to all the free things we do for them.

The real cost is that American taxpayers are forced to pay the expense of food, shelter, healthcare, and education of 21 or more illegal aliens. The Democrats pretend there is no cost, hiding the cost by printing the money, while the true costs show up later in high inflation. There is also the costs to the infrastructure which is inadequate, and the cost of crime. All the costs were pretended not to be happening, but they have, and we see it in the 37 Trillion dollars we are in debt --- all money stolen from us, as the politicians, nonprofits, and church's took their shares of the grift.

These people who are siding with the illegals because they think that keeping them out of our country isn't fair need to be informed of our immigration policies since the 1800's when people came here through Ellis Island where you were questioned. If you could not say yes to having a visible means of support or provide a sponsor and you were not a criminal or diseased, you could enter out country by getting on a boat and go to the mainland. Those folks cramming our borders ain't doing that. Get it!! Come through the front door of out country and we might let you in..

It's more than that. It was an Obiden crime that resulted in several homicides. They both should be imprisoned for it. MAGA

The editors here at I&I have been in the news business for more than four decades, and we’ve never seen anything like the steady stream of glorious news since President Donald Trump took office. We keep pinching ourselves to make sure we aren’t dreaming. It started on day one, with Trump’s triumphant inaugural address and the flurry of well-targeted executive orders that boldly declared not just the end of the Biden administration, but the beginning of the end of 100 years of socialist experimentation in the U.S. Every day since has brought gift-wrapped presents that conservatives – including those suffering Trump Derangement Syndrome – dreamed about for decades.

For those who followed the illegal immigration debate, the last two months have been dizzying, to say the least. Not only has the flood of illegal immigrants crossing our border been reduced to a trickle by aggressive enforcement of existing laws, but thousands and thousands more illegal entrants have been dissuaded from even trying. It’s a huge victory. As we never tire of saying, we are not anti-immigration. We are, however, against illegal immigration. After all, what kind of eventual citizen will you be if your first act upon entering is to commit a felony? And most Americans agree with us.

The next time you hear someone complaining that DOGE is “slashing” federal spending or “dismantling” the government, pay close attention. There will almost certainly be an important fact left out: The gargantuan federal deficit. Every day brings a new sob story about how someone is being hurt by Elon Musk’s chainsaw because some federal program is being shut down, or because a precious federal job has been axed. Never in any of these is any context provided. And in this case, context is everything. By the time President Donald Trump took office

Cutting greenhouse gas emissions was going to save the planet at no cost. Turns out it’s an economy wrecker, which is more feature than bug for many a climate alarmist. Kallum Pickering, chief economist at Peel Hunt, a London-based investment bank, took on the claim of Labour Party British Chancellor Rachel Reeves, who said that pursuing net zero greenhouse gas emissions didn’t require a deceleration of economic growth. What he found was “sad to say,” but he stands by the facts. “The result of the UK’s decarbonization efforts appears to be weak economic growth, stalling living standards, high energy prices and deindustrialization – without denting rising global emissions,”

This is a surprising — or perhaps not too surprising — twist in the was-Biden-senile game. Research by the Heritage Foundation’s investigative arm, called the Oversight Project, looked at every document they could get their hands on that Joe Biden “signed.” Turns out that most of them were signed by autopen. We’re not talking about form letters. We’re talking about things like executive orders. If true, this raises several legitimate and very troubling questions. Did Biden know that he was “signing” these documents? Who had control of the autopen? Was it ever used without Biden’s knowledge? If Biden himself didn’t sign

Before Texas’ embarrassment of a congressman, Al Green, was kicked out of the House chamber during President Donald Trump’s address on Tuesday, he shouted “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid!” while pointing a cane at Trump. Green is dead wrong. Trump does have a mandate. And it comes from none other than Joe Biden. Republicans are looking at substantial spending cuts to help reduce the nearly $2 trillion deficit and keep the economy moving. And one big, fat, juicy target for savings is a Medicaid funding scam that lets states steal tens of billions of dollars from the federal government every year. Here’s how this particular scam works.

Sunday, its largest circulation day of the week, the New York Times ran a lengthy, triple-bylined story intended to stir up fear and anger over the Trump White House’s climate policy. It was no example of civically minded journalism, just another propaganda piece to fuel the global warming tale. Right from the top, the reporters tell readers that President Donald Trump “has severely damaged the government’s ability to fight climate change, upending American environmental policy with moves that could have lasting implications for the country, and the planet.” “Could?” That’s what the entire global warming scare is built on, coulds and maybes and possiblies.

When the president addresses Congress, we expect some partisanship. When Democrats talk about how they want to force people to do their bidding, Republicans don’t applaud. When Republicans talk about cutting people’s taxes, Democrats sit on their hands. But there have always been times in the past when the entire chamber applauds, sometimes members of the opposing party even stand. That’s because the person addressing them is president of the United States, not leader of a faction. Until now. We have never seen a spectacle like we saw last night.

Five weeks into his second term as president, and Donald Trump still holds the approval of the American voting-age public. But, not surprisingly, sharp differences emerge when looking at party affiliation, with Republicans more likely to give the new chief executive high approval marks than either Democrats or independents, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The national online poll was taken by a sample of 1,434 adults from March 26-28 and has a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points. Those taking the poll were asked: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable,

In 1984, a legendary Gipper debate quip put to rest fears about President Ronald Reagan’s advanced years: “I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent’s youth and inexperience.” The public’s response: “people meters” off the charts with likes – and the instant recouping of a polling margin that had begun to erode. But equally telling was Democratic candidate Walter Mondale’s reaction: a sheepish laugh plus looks over and then downward – a visage and posture essentially conceding defeat.

Conservatives have been positively giddy with the whirlwind of activity out of the White House over the past five weeks. But if President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress don’t start focusing on the economy, the excitement will be short-lived. Not only are there worrisome signs of an economic slowdown, but the public is growing increasingly frustrated with what they see as a lack of attention to pocketbook issues on Trump’s part. Republican lawmakers are making matters worse by dawdling on extending Trump’s tax cuts, which is causing businesses to hold off on big investments. This is a lethal combination.

Elon Musk's attempt to unilaterally dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development likely violated the United States Constitution, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday. U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ordered Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency to immediately give USAID employees access to their "email, payment, security notification, and all other electronic systems," and ordered a pause on any efforts to shut down USAID. Judge Chuang wrote that Musk's takeover "usurped the authority of the public's elected representatives in Congress to make decisions on whether, when, and how to eliminate a federal government agency, and of Officers of the United States duly appointed under the Constitution

Sacré bleu! Talk about a Napoleon complex. Some stories don’t require a lengthy set-up. They speak for themselves (and today, they’re parlez-vous-ing exclusively in French): France should take back the Statue of Liberty because the US no longer represents the values that led France to offer the statue, a French Euro-deputy said Sunday. "Give us back the Statue of Liberty", centre-left politician Raphael Glucksmann said at a convention of his Place Publique centre-left movement. "We're going to say to the Americans who have chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for demanding scientific freedom: 'Give us back the Statue of Liberty,'" he told cheering supporters.

But that seems to be exactly what happened. Evidence has been emerging for a week that nearly every document Joe Biden allegedly signed after his first few days in office — every executive order, every pardon, every Congressional bill signed into law, every international treaty, every lifetime judicial nomination (including the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson) — was signed with not one, but two Autopens.
