ICYMI, Our Border’s Now Definitely Closed

For those who followed the illegal immigration debate, the last two months have been dizzying, to say the least. Not only has the flood of illegal immigrants crossing our border been reduced to a trickle by aggressive enforcement of existing laws, but thousands and thousands more illegal entrants have been dissuaded from even trying. It’s a huge victory. As we never tire of saying, we are not anti-immigration. We are, however, against illegal immigration. After all, what kind of eventual citizen will you be if your first act upon entering is to commit a felony? And most Americans agree with us.

"A politician who actually meant what he said, and did what he said he’d do." AND had the vision and a plan that could accomplish it when very few others could even see that it could be done. It's nice to have goals but you have to have good plans and be able to execute. Time after time, Trump proves himself capable of a good vision, planning well, and executing to accomplish his intent. The ability to repeatedly do this is extremely rare. Did almost anyone think it was possible to dig into the federal spending behemoth and tear it apart with blinding speed? Yet, it is started, paying benefits, and is laying ground for completely and transparently revising the way government manages its spending. By the time this is done, annual or monthly reviews of spending will be possible with the click of a mouse. Cheating will become VERY difficult and mistakes will jump off the screen and be addressed. This is why we see the same reaction from leaders here and abroad. They fear Trump and many loathe him, not because he is evil or a threat to democracy but because he accomplishes what he says he will and that often goes counter to other leaders selfish intents. They know that when Trump aligns himself against them, they have already lost.

I know people who crossed illegally with their parents when they were infants and toddlers. They speak English like I do. They are decent and law-biding. However, they’re not citizens and as such, have to “hide” in order to maintain their lifestyles. They cannot apply for citizenship for that reason. I sponsored one illegal because he went back to Mexico to do it right. It took a long time, but he got his green card.

Since there is obviously so much money at stake relating to Mexican criminal cartel income, look for the cartels to move away from assisting and smuggling illegal aliens to get across the recently secured land borders, and start using airplanes, boats, and even ships to smuggle illegal aliens into the USA through interior airfields and airports and along the coastlines.

One Fact Missing From Every DOGE Story 5 replies

The next time you hear someone complaining that DOGE is “slashing” federal spending or “dismantling” the government, pay close attention. There will almost certainly be an important fact left out: The gargantuan federal deficit. Every day brings a new sob story about how someone is being hurt by Elon Musk’s chainsaw because some federal program is being shut down, or because a precious federal job has been axed. Never in any of these is any context provided. And in this case, context is everything. By the time President Donald Trump took office
Net Zero Is A Big Fat Zero For Economic Growth 10 replies

Cutting greenhouse gas emissions was going to save the planet at no cost. Turns out it’s an economy wrecker, which is more feature than bug for many a climate alarmist. Kallum Pickering, chief economist at Peel Hunt, a London-based investment bank, took on the claim of Labour Party British Chancellor Rachel Reeves, who said that pursuing net zero greenhouse gas emissions didn’t require a deceleration of economic growth. What he found was “sad to say,” but he stands by the facts. “The result of the UK’s decarbonization efforts appears to be weak economic growth, stalling living standards, high energy prices and deindustrialization – without denting rising global emissions,”

This is a surprising — or perhaps not too surprising — twist in the was-Biden-senile game. Research by the Heritage Foundation’s investigative arm, called the Oversight Project, looked at every document they could get their hands on that Joe Biden “signed.” Turns out that most of them were signed by autopen. We’re not talking about form letters. We’re talking about things like executive orders. If true, this raises several legitimate and very troubling questions. Did Biden know that he was “signing” these documents? Who had control of the autopen? Was it ever used without Biden’s knowledge? If Biden himself didn’t sign

Before Texas’ embarrassment of a congressman, Al Green, was kicked out of the House chamber during President Donald Trump’s address on Tuesday, he shouted “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid!” while pointing a cane at Trump. Green is dead wrong. Trump does have a mandate. And it comes from none other than Joe Biden. Republicans are looking at substantial spending cuts to help reduce the nearly $2 trillion deficit and keep the economy moving. And one big, fat, juicy target for savings is a Medicaid funding scam that lets states steal tens of billions of dollars from the federal government every year. Here’s how this particular scam works.

Sunday, its largest circulation day of the week, the New York Times ran a lengthy, triple-bylined story intended to stir up fear and anger over the Trump White House’s climate policy. It was no example of civically minded journalism, just another propaganda piece to fuel the global warming tale. Right from the top, the reporters tell readers that President Donald Trump “has severely damaged the government’s ability to fight climate change, upending American environmental policy with moves that could have lasting implications for the country, and the planet.” “Could?” That’s what the entire global warming scare is built on, coulds and maybes and possiblies.

When the president addresses Congress, we expect some partisanship. When Democrats talk about how they want to force people to do their bidding, Republicans don’t applaud. When Republicans talk about cutting people’s taxes, Democrats sit on their hands. But there have always been times in the past when the entire chamber applauds, sometimes members of the opposing party even stand. That’s because the person addressing them is president of the United States, not leader of a faction. Until now. We have never seen a spectacle like we saw last night.

Five weeks into his second term as president, and Donald Trump still holds the approval of the American voting-age public. But, not surprisingly, sharp differences emerge when looking at party affiliation, with Republicans more likely to give the new chief executive high approval marks than either Democrats or independents, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The national online poll was taken by a sample of 1,434 adults from March 26-28 and has a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points. Those taking the poll were asked: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable,

In 1984, a legendary Gipper debate quip put to rest fears about President Ronald Reagan’s advanced years: “I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent’s youth and inexperience.” The public’s response: “people meters” off the charts with likes – and the instant recouping of a polling margin that had begun to erode. But equally telling was Democratic candidate Walter Mondale’s reaction: a sheepish laugh plus looks over and then downward – a visage and posture essentially conceding defeat.

Conservatives have been positively giddy with the whirlwind of activity out of the White House over the past five weeks. But if President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress don’t start focusing on the economy, the excitement will be short-lived. Not only are there worrisome signs of an economic slowdown, but the public is growing increasingly frustrated with what they see as a lack of attention to pocketbook issues on Trump’s part. Republican lawmakers are making matters worse by dawdling on extending Trump’s tax cuts, which is causing businesses to hold off on big investments. This is a lethal combination.

The end is near. That’s what we’ve been told since the beginning. The doomsdayers have cited a variety of cataclysms that will do us in, from asteroids to resource exhaustion to a dying sun. But they all have one thing in common: So far, they’ve all been wrong. Same with the climate alarmists. And the public is catching on. A study, published by the Stanford University School of Sustainability, no less, found that “resistance to climate action has become a global movement that strengthens after governments implement climate-related policies.” “We found that counter climate change organizations tend

In consuming the news, one could easily conclude that, as we said earlier in the week, President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are carpet bombing the federal government. Clinton-appointed Judge Richard Young has ordered the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) to provide sex change surgery for a “transgender” inmate who murdered a baby. The inmate, Jonathan Richardson, who now goes by “Autumn Cordellioné,” is in prison for the reckless homicide of a baby. Richardson was convicted in 2001 for strangling his then-wife’s 11-month-old daughter to death. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed the lawsuit against the Indiana Department of Corrections seeking a sex change on behalf of Richardson in 2023, three years after the baby-killer decided to begin identifying as a woman. Currently, there is a law in Indiana banning taxpayer-funded sex change procedures for inmates.

Why did the State Department (taxpayers) pay for Hillary Clinton’s 5-star hotel room and rental vehicles in France in 2024? Hillary Clinton traveled to Bordeaux, France, on February 23, 2024 and the American taxpayer paid for her lavish retreat. Clinton reportedly traveled to Bordeaux to promote climate change garbage at the World Impact Summit to benefit the Clinton Foundation. The twice-failed presidential hopeful stayed at the 5-star Mondrian Hotel (a Clinton favorite). The total cost for the luxury hotel ($16,759.18) and transportation ($22,570.19) set taxpayers back $39,329.37.

Five states are considering legislation or ratifying constitutional amendments that would either implement voter ID or prevent non-citizen voting, as both issues have become significant election integrity concerns. Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Utah and Wisconsin are in the process of strengthening election integrity by pushing forward bills or proposed constitutional amendments that would verify a voter’s identity and/or ensure that they are a U.S. citizen before voting. Only about half of the states have voter photo ID, and just 15 explicitly prohibit non-citizen voting.
