Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched his bid for New York City mayor with a video posted on his X account. This comes after much speculation that the governor would launch a comeback after leaving office in August 2021. In the announcement, Cuomo acknowledged that "the greatest city in the world" is facing several challenges, touching on rampant homelessness, "random violence," and other issues he believes are harming the Big Apple. "We know that our New York City is in trouble," Cuomo says in the launch video. "You feel it when you walk down the street and try not to make eye contact

How many thousands of families were broken in so many ways at this man's hands??? Yeah, New York will put him back in office. Dumb and Dumberer. Idiocracy in action.

He's going according to my prediction so far. Lay real low, let the electorate sheep(Baa Baa) forget about the atrocities, then run on law and order and blame that the current "politicans" are screwing things up royally. Those long espisodes, Nursing Home Murderer and Sexual Harasser, are simply not true and where never true. I've learned a lot since resigning in humiliation and disgrace. Opponents have only to produce ads with silhouettes of those who died in the Cuomo nursing homes and his threat to de-certify those homes who refused them. Of course, no Democrat will fix NYC, so it's of little consequence.

Late yesterday afternoon my doorbell rang. It was 3 ladies from the local republican club asking if I'd sign a petition to put Curtis Sliwa on the ballot for NYC Mayor. I told them Sliwa was a moron when I knew him 50 years ago. They agreed. I told them come back with a viable candidate I'd sign the petition. Meanwhile Alvin Bragg - Manhattan DA will be re-elected WITH NO OPPOSITION from the NYS republicans. Why do we have Hochul, Cuomo's puppet as Governor? The repubs abandon their candidates.

Probably he won't be getting the votes of all the elderly who died of Covid because of him but you never know. This is New York, after all. Death doesn't necessarily get you off the voting roll. Lots of "blue" states have that solution for keeping Dems in office down pat.

Not so fast, Coma. You murdered several thousand seniors by putting covid-infected others into NY's skilled care facilities knowing the seniors would contract the disease and probably die. This is not commensurate with a level-headed and morally upright politician. I hope the NYCers see you for what you are. A murderer.

Virtually all political leaders — from both sides of the aisle and across the pond as well — have weighed in on the Oval Office dustup between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday. Unsurprisingly, most of those in the Donald Trump Bad camp have attempted to lay things at the feet of Trump and Vance, conveniently overlooking the context of the discussions leading up to the meeting and the 30 minutes prior to the moment when things ratcheted up considerably. As with most things these days, the incident provided a Rorschach test of one's views on the players involved.

The left once again showed its true colors after President Trump's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday. The pearl-clutching commentators, be they in Congress or the media, immediately ran with their favorite narrative: the explosive meeting was Trump’s fault, Trump embarrassed America, and he "ambushed" the poor Ukrainian leader in an orchestrated setup. There's just one problem—it's complete nonsense. But don't take my word for it. Even some voices on the left couldn't stomach the blatant mischaracterization of what actually happened. For the last decade, the establishment media have touted advocates’ claims that 15,000 transgender people are serving in the U.S. military. But this week, President Donald Trump’s Pentagon revealed the transgender population is just 4,240 service members. That adds up to one transgender person for every 500 service members in the United States military of 2.1 million active and reserve members. That transgender share is just 0.2 percent, or one-fifth of one percent, of the military. In football terms, the transgender share is just 8.6 inches on a 120-yard football field.
