For the last decade, the establishment media have touted advocates’ claims that 15,000 transgender people are serving in the U.S. military.
But this week, President Donald Trump’s Pentagon revealed the transgender population is just 4,240 service members.
That adds up to one transgender person for every 500 service members in the United States military of 2.1 million active and reserve members.
That transgender share is just 0.2 percent, or one-fifth of one percent, of the military.
In football terms, the transgender share is just 8.6 inches on a 120-yard football field.

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched his bid for New York City mayor with a video posted on his X account. This comes after much speculation that the governor would launch a comeback after leaving office in August 2021.
In the announcement, Cuomo acknowledged that "the greatest city in the world" is facing several challenges, touching on rampant homelessness, "random violence," and other issues he believes are harming the Big Apple. "We know that our New York City is in trouble," Cuomo says in the launch video. "You feel it when you walk down the street and try not to make eye contact

Keir Starmer warmly greeted Volodymyr Zelensky with a hug outside of Downing Street after the Ukrainian president's bruising encounter with Donald Trump.
Zelensky's furious bust-up with the US President yesterday has sent diplomatic ripples across the world - with warnings that the surreal scene in the Oval Office could spell the end of Nato.
Now the Prime Minister is hoping to act as a bridge between the American premier and his European counterparts after a successful flattery campaign on Thursday. Last night, after the clash, he talked with both leaders and a spokesman said he was 'doing all he can to find a path forward to a lasting peace'.

In what he described as "one of the great moments in the history of American diplomacy," White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller shared the behind-the-scenes details of what led to the explosive confrontation between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that shocked viewers worldwide on Friday.
The heated exchange, which occurred in the Oval Office and was broadcast globally, showed Trump and Vice President JD Vance berating Zelenskyy over his apparent lack of gratitude for American aid and his reluctance to pursue a ceasefire with Russia.
Speaking on Fox News with host Jesse Watters, Miller revealed that Zelenskyy's attitude blindsided

Joe Rogan posted a 3-hour-long interview with Elon Musk today. I haven't watched all of it yet but already there are some highlights worth sharing. For instance, here's Rogan suggesting that Trump's cabinet is like nothing American has seen in a long time. People always saw Trump as a disrupter of the status quo but now it feels like every person he's got in his cabinet are disrupters as well. This makes for interesting times. Of course DOGE is probably the biggest disrupter so far in this term and was a major topic of the conversation.
The brunt of the hours-long interview focused on DOGE, Musk’s chainsaw wielding department

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declined to apologize to President Donald Trump until the very end of his first TV news interview following an intense verbal spat in the Oval Office on Friday, while he thanked the U.S. for its continued support of Ukraine.
Asked by Fox News host Bret Baier whether he feels he owes an apology to the Trump administration, Zelensky avoided directly answering the question at first. When pressed further, he gave a similar response.
“No, I respect the president, and I respect the American people, and I think that we have to be very open and very honest, and I’m not sure that we did something bad,”

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance were expecting a consequential but standard Oval Office appearance with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday.
Their appearance was anything but routine.
The meeting to announce a rare earth materials agreement between Ukraine and the United States as part of a pathway to peace between Ukraine and Russia deteriorated quickly after a combative Zelensky protested U.S. desire to draw down the long war.
“The president and vice president were caught off guard by Zelensky’s offensive antics,” a source familiar told Breitbart News.

Foreign adversaries including Russia and China have recently directed their intelligence services to ramp up recruiting of US federal employees working in national security, targeting those who have been fired or feel they could be soon, according to four people familiar with recent US intelligence on the issue and a document reviewed by CNN.
The intelligence indicates that foreign adversaries are eager to exploit the Trump administration’s efforts to conduct mass layoffs across the federal workforce – a plan laid out by the Office of Personnel Management earlier this week.
Russia and China are focusing their efforts on recently fired employees with security clearances and probationary employees at risk

It's certainly been a fire-breathing meeting between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Volodymyr Zelensky.
As we reported, it did not go well, with Zelensky getting up in the face of Trump. He was trying to dictate to Trump and Vance, telling them they were wrong about things, without any appreciation for what the United States has done for his country. Trump and Vance were not having any of that. It was a bizarre position to take when Ukraine is so reliant on U.S, help in the war with Russia.
Trump was furious and felt Zelensky had disrespected the U.S. in the Oval Office.

The House Oversight Committee is investigating the Biden administration’s last-minute efforts to embed its political appointees within the federal workforce to undermine the Trump administration, National Review has learned.
“We are concerned about job postings and hiring surges not based on actual agency mission needs, but based on political goals, including a desire to ‘Trump-proof’ agency staffs by placing personnel opposed to President Donald Trump’s agenda,” Chairman James Comer (R., Ky.) wrote in letters addressed to 24 federal departments and agencies on Friday.

Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Oval Office on Friday, and as RedState reported, things blew up in spectacular fashion. The latest reports are that the Ukrainian president was kicked out of the White House, with the prior negotiated mineral rights for aid deal shelved indefinitely. So what exactly happened? That's a good question because I have no idea what Zelensky was thinking. This was not a situation where President Donald Trump was beating him over the head or demanding he submit to a specific narrative surrounding the war in Ukraine. On the contrary, the meeting was essentially over when Zelensky decided it'd be a great idea to try to publicly embarrass

At the start of Friday at the White House, here was the scheduled agenda for the visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: Oval Office press event then a lunch meeting with President Trump, followed by a signing event on a deal between the U.S. and Ukraine over rare mineral rights, then a joint press conference between the two leaders. As many of you know by nowFind more reactions on the blow-up here.
