The Ukrainian president announced the country is "ready to sign" a minerals deal with the US. The comments come two days after the Ukrainian president, U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice-president JD Vance had a threeway fight in the Oval Office on Friday. Zelensky's statement also added that the signing of the deal would "be the first step toward security guarantees." "We are ready to sign the minerals agreement," he said in a post on X. "It will be the first step toward security guarantees." "But it’s not enough, and we need more than just that," he added. "A ceasefire without security guarantees is dangerous for Ukraine." This is the FOURTH time he has announced this, each time he has crawfished and didn't. Tell him to show up at any US Embassy, send a random janitor in coveralls out to meet him...have him sign it,hand it to the Janitor. Then send it to the Whitehouse, maybe Trump will sign as well...after a careful review.

I have some advice for Z-man: Your announcements probably are no longer viewed as credible. Therefore, just make an unannounced trip to DC, sign the documents in a private ceremony with administration people recording them, and release the video after the fact. I don't think the oval office occupant has the stomach at this point for the display of any more "Deep State" implanted antics, so this is their way of "trusting but verifying" that you stand by your word...

The Ukraine government already signed the deal, his job was to do the photo op and ratify a done deal. Now, that option is gone. All the members of the Ukrainian government who agreed to the deal in the first place, have to decide how much longer they want a dress wearing, unfunny, jerk comedian representing them. Their lives literally depend on what they do now. My suggestion would be immediate arrest, followed by doing whatever President Trump wants to do. If that is still possible.

All of you who are worried about Trump caving to this fool (or sending our troops there) need to remember: Trump is THE master of the "The Art of the Deal." And, thank God, when Trump says NO, you can trust him to either stick to that or make sure that he (and America) gets the very BEST deal imaginable. So, let's all take a deep breath and thank the Lord that the brain-dead Biden is NOT selling our country out anymore.

Lucy, charlie Brown, Football. Hopefully President Trump is no Charlie Brown. Besides, the whole "Rare Earths" thing is a complete scam, and I was glad when the last deal fell apart. Not only would the money for war scam have continued, but the US taxpayers would be scammed yet again later, paying (supposedly) for the mining and refining infrastructure only to discover that there isn't really anything of great value there.

The top headline at Breitbart right now reads, "Zelensky Shuts Down Calls For Immediate Ceasefire in War with Russia". Why? "Apparently bolstered by fawning displays of support from European leaders in London on Sunday, Zelensky expressed intent to continue the war until he is satisfied with the security guarantees on offer from Western powers." So the answer is "No". The United States should not be involved in this war, no American troops on the ground as Zelensky demanded. No American blood should be spilled there. If Europe claims to "support Ukraine", they should out their money where their mouths are.

Trump to halt flow of weapons to Ukraine 6 replies

The Trump administration has paused financing new arms sales to Ukraine and is now weighing a freeze on weapons shipments, the Wall Street Journal reported. The freeze would affect weapons shipments from US stockpiles, the report added. According to WSJ, the financing was paused in recent weeks, as part of the Trump administration's general freeze on foreign aid. The general pause included military aid, and exceptions for Israel and Egypt, but not for Ukraine. On Friday, the Trump administration announced that it would send Israel nearly $3 billion in weapons, including over 35,000 bombs weighing around 2,000 lbs each. WSJ quoted current officials as clarifying that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio

That means they see the clips of Democrats appearing on the broadcast networks, MSNBC, and the like, and if they are perceptive, they've probably noticed something. Namely, that certain former "fresh faces" of the Democratic Party aren't so fresh anymore. For context, it's been weeks since there's been an article on RedState covering something Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said. That would have been unheard of a few years ago, but guess who has had five articles written about her since then? That would be Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

One hundred years ago, President Calvin Coolidge gave a speech to the American Society of Newspaper Editors. It included the line, “After all, the chief business of the American people is business. They are profoundly concerned with producing, buying, selling, investing, and prospering in the world.” Colloquially, we’ve abbreviated Cal’s quote to: “The business of America is business.” (Shorter, pithier, and more efficient: The DOGE version of the quote.) Same is true of politics: It’s a business, too. So, if you wanna know what’s gonna happen next, you’ve gotta follow the money. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. will impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico on Tuesday, scrapping hopes of a last-minute deal that would avoid stoking a trade war with America’s top trading partners. Trump, speaking at the White House on Monday afternoon, said there was “no room left for Mexico or for Canada” to negotiate on the new import duties. “They’re all set. They go into effect tomorrow,” he said. Stocks, already trading in the red, sank further following Trump’s comments. Trump on Feb. 1 signed an executive order imposing 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada, with oil from Canada subject to a 10% duty. But

The Democratic Party may be imploding before our eyes, folks. What we're seeing isn't just your typical post-election finger-pointing—it's a potential full-blown civil war brewing between moderates and the radical left wing that has hijacked the party and alienated mainstream Americans. If recent developments are any indication, the moderates are finally growing a spine. According to a report from Politico, several dozen Democratic operatives and elected officials gathered at a Potomac River resort in Loudoun County, Va., last month for what amounted to an intervention. The day-and-a-half retreat wasn't just about licking wounds—it was about calling out the cancer destroying their electoral chances. “In the wake of this election,

Virtually all political leaders — from both sides of the aisle and across the pond as well — have weighed in on the Oval Office dustup between President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday. Unsurprisingly, most of those in the Donald Trump Bad camp have attempted to lay things at the feet of Trump and Vance, conveniently overlooking the context of the discussions leading up to the meeting and the 30 minutes prior to the moment when things ratcheted up considerably. As with most things these days, the incident provided a Rorschach test of one's views on the players involved.

According to his statements, Starmer told Trump he would work with Macron +2 unidentified countries (a “coalition of the willing”), to organize an EU security force for a Ukraine ceasefire; then the group will require Trump to provide a U.S. troop “backstop” as an insurance policy. Starmer completely ignores the NATO provocations against Russia that preceded the military operation

There was a moment not long ago when we all got to know Tim Walz—a big, bluff, good-humored guy, born in Nebraska, who became a teacher, a football coach, and the governor of Minnesota. For three months last year, he campaigned on the national ticket with Kamala Harris. As late as Election Day, Walz was convinced that he and Harris were headed to the White House. He was going to be the Vice-President of the United States, living at the Naval Observatory, one heartbeat away from the Presidency. China is reportedly working on a massive nuclear powered aircraft carrier to rival or potentially surpass the United States’ largest carrier. Satellite imagery studied by analysts speaking with NBC News revealed that the Chinese Navy is working on a new ship which will allow fighter jets to be launched from four different areas of the flight deck, which is unlike anything in the current Chinese fleet. “We think this is them testing equipment and layouts for the upcoming Type 04 carrier,” stated James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies researcher Michael Duitsman. Not unexpectedly, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson has ruled that unelected bureaucrat, Hampton Dellinger, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel head has more unilateral power within the executive branch of government than President Donald Trump. [RULING pdf HERE]This ruling stems from the same mindset as former AG Bill Barr, former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy AG Sally Yates, former IC Inspector General Michael Atkinson, and the entire organization of professional Lawfare activists that includes Mary McCord, Andrew Weissmann and Norm Eisen. The collective belief is that in the modern “continuity of government” framework, the bureaucracy of government controls things, not the elected and plenary President.

Congressman Brandon Gill, who represents Texas' 26th Congressional District, said that he plans to introduce a bill to feature Trump's likeness on the $100 note once his current term concludes.
